Fantastic! Jeff and Erin and crew were very easy to work with. I highly recommend this family business. Jeff responded quickly to my request for a quote. His quote was reasonable. He was knowledgeable, and explained some reasons for some problems we had with some walls upstairs. He was able to schedule work before holiday guests arrived. Everyday, they arrived on time and got right to work. Had all the supplies needed and operated professionally. Were friendly and easy to have in house as I worked. When they removed wallpaper in one room, they discovered paneling underneath. Jeff suggested several alternatives for that wall, and connected us with someone who could wallpaper before holidays so that it could be painted later. Jeff and his son returned as promised to paint that one wall. The rest of the job went as planned. They actually finished a day earlier than originally quoted. We are pleased with the work, and will definitely hire them in the future. It was so nice to have a freshly painted house when our guests arrived for holidays! Thank you!

My spouse and I had several other paint estimates done by other companies when we started looking for a painter. All companies that we contacted were from Angie's List. This company was professional, punctual, and friendly. We were a little nervous about letting strangers into our house but those feeling quickly subsided when Jeff and his wife Erin came to our house. It was obvious from the start that they were extremely knowledgeable about all things paint, and Erin was a great help in suggesting colors to go with our furniture and decor. The reason we selected "Jeff the Painter" as our painter was due to their personalities, knowledge, and estimate being middle of road as far as price. Once we accepted the estimate from Jeff the painter, the company was great at fitting us into their already busy schedule quickly. The job was completed in a weeks time while we were on vacation. My spouse and I had nervous butterflies as we drove home from vacation as to how our house would look. We were overwhelmingly happily surprised with the job that Jeff and his crew did. Not only did they do a great job, the colors they helped us select could not have been better! We have already referred friends to Jeff the Painter, and decided that they will do the more painting at our house next year.

Jeff the painter and his crew arrived at the time promised and began preparing the walls, ceilings, etc. of the rooms to be painted. The first day on the job was spent preparing the walls, ceilings, etc. for finish painting. The second day on the job, Jeff the painter and crew applied the finish coats of paint. The job was completed to our complete satisfaction on the second day. It was originally thought that the job would take 3 days.

This is the best contractor with whom we have worked. They are in our home constantly. My father and my grandfather were painting contractors and I learned from them how to spot quality and true professionalism in painters. Jeff has done a number of jobs for us over the past few years, small and large. He and his staff are extremely professional, hardworking, extremely pleasant, punctual and attentive to detail. We have recommended them to a number of our neighbors and would not hesitate do do so. We really can't say enough about how pleased we have always been in working with Jeff.

I enjoyed working with Jeff and Erin from start to finish! They were professional yet flexible with scheduling. All of the paint looks great and they took great care in making sure to clean up after each day. I have two small children (2 and 1) and they were very considerate to clean up in time for me to bring them home from daycare. A great experience!

They did an excellent job! Erin does excellent work on the detail work. They take real pride in their work and will make suggestions to you. They cleaned up each evening after they finished. Their price was very fair for the work done. I felt comfortable with them in my house while I was at work. My home looks like a different home after they finished. Such a beautiful transformation. I will definitely use them in the future.

In every regard, Jeff's work was outstanding!! Most importantly, his painting was top quality with even coverage of all surfaces and excellent detail work (trim, hard-to-reach areas, etc.). And he went out of his way to repair many flaws in the plaster, remove old wallpaper, etc. We especially appreciated Jeff's communication. He kept in constant contact with us (we were not living in the house for some of the time), explained what he was doing, and let us know how the job was progressing. We could always count on him to respond to our questions quickly via email, phone and/or text. He's just a great guy who, along with his wife and painting partner Erin, does really superior painting while being professional and responsive. We recommend him without qualification!

I have hired Jeff to paint my entire house, in stages, and am now repainting some rooms, years later. He and his wife, Erin, are great. They are friendly, neat, and do impeccable work at fair prices. They even bring my dogs in if it looks like rain. I highly recommend their services.

OUTSTANDING!! We obtained three quotes for painting our living room, bathroom, kitchen and hallway. We had read all the reviews of Jeff and his crew on Angie's List. Not only was Jeff the most personable of the three representatives, he also had the most reasonable price. Without the added overhead cost of some of the larger companies, he was able to give is a fair price and some of the best service we have ever had done in our home. We have never had a professional painter do work for us, and with Jeff, his wife, and two other employees, they made it look easy. They hand-cut all the edges (it would have taken me a week to just put masking tape around everything!), painted the ceiling while walking on stilts, and had the most cheerful attitude! They were respectful of our home and our kids. When I had questions or requests, Jeff gave me honest and realistic answers. In addition to excellent workmanship, Jeff also worked with me to choose the brand of paint that I wanted. We were able to get a contractor's discount on a premium line of paint. After six months of living with the paint, we couldn't be happier with the results of the job. I still find myself staring at the walls, amazed at how clean and fresh everything looks. We had also been living with a shed door that opened to the inside of our shed, severely hampering storage use. The frame and sill were also rotting. We were frequently getting puddles of water on the floor of the shed. I discussed just changing the door frame so it would open, using the existing door. However, Jeff made the point that the loose door sill could be causing the water issues and suggested purchasing a new door and frame. We took his suggestion, and couldn't be happier. Again, the amount that he charged us for labor was more than reasonable. I believe the job took a bit longer than expected and he didn't charge any extra for labor or materials. We now have a weather-tight door and a shed that we can actually use! I have already shared Jeff's information with several people looking for a professional painter. Jeff and his crew exceeded all expectations. We will certainly be hiring him for all our future painting jobs.

We've now used Jeff on two projects. Last year, Jeff painted our renovated kitchen, dining room and living room and also painted one room upstairs, as well as some exterior work. This year, he painted the largest bathroom. Jeff and his wife do all the work together. They are always prompt, professional and attentive to detail. Both projects were completed in a timely manner and they did everything they said they would do. They do excellent work and we heartily recommend them.

Very smoothly. We were on vacation so that they could take over. I had tried to move things out of the rooms so there was minimal dust issue. I did wet mop, but who wouldn't after plaster work? We came back to a great job, cleaned and easy to ready for move in. They worked with us in regards to using new vs our existing paints, and doing a repair of a ceiling and back wall. They are a nice couple and we felt at ease with them in our home/managing the work.

This is my third experience with Jeff. He had done painting and handyman work in the past, each time with excellent results. In this case, we did a walkthrough on the job, agreed on a schedule and price. Jeff tackled the problems in the property in several phases, as we had discussed. He quickly worked through the jobs, and tested the dishwasher to make sure it needed to be replaced. As expected, a new one was needed. I ordered a replacement dishwasher from Lowe's and we had to wait ten days for delivery. When it arrived, Jeff picked it up and finished the job by installing the unit and removing/discarding the old unit. He even came back a day later to insure that no leaks or other problems had developed with the dishwasher. During the walkthrough, I had identified a problem with the main cutoff water valve in the house, which Jeff was able to remedy on the spot, before we even got into estimating costs and schedule. I was very grateful, because I thought a call to a plumber might cost me a minimum of $100-$200. I live over an hour away from the property in the Washington area. I know I can trust Jeff to do an excellent job, stay in touch on progress, and honor his price. Jeff has my highest recommendation.

We hired Jeff's crew to paint fences, sheds, and a garage for us earlier in the year and were so blown away by their work ethic, integrity, and the quality of the finished product that we booked them again to tackle the herculean job of painting the exterior of our old, old brick house. To say the prep work needed was extensive is an under-understatement, but they did it all patiently and with incredible attention to detail, foundation to rooftop. If Jeff, Erin, Ethan, and Scott were merely grade A+ painting contractors, we'd stop right there and just say, "Hire them, you'll be really glad you did!" But these are some of the nicest, most personable, most trustworthy and conscientious people we've ever had the pleasure to meet, and we want to make sure to add that. We're loyal customers for life.

Truly a pleasure to deal with. I come from a family of painters so growing up I learned what was good and bad. Jeff and his crew are truly professionals who do quality work, punctually at a fair price. They are also very pleasant to deal with and have in my home. Working with Jeff and his painters was a pleasure right from the beginning. Jeff responded quickly and gave a fair price, especially given the quality of their work. There are 2 really large dancers painted on the wall of our lobby and Jeff repainted that wall with such great care that you'd never be able to tell the dancers weren't painted on top of the other paint. They were really great also about fixing any imperfections. He was also very knowledgeable and recommended different treatments that might be suitable for my space. The work was done quickly and beautifully! If you are looking for an interior painter, do yourself a favor and hire Jeff!

I called Jeff on short notice to do some preparatory painting for the sale of my house, which needed to be done within three weeks. He told me that this is the busy season (understandably), but that he had a cancellation and he could do this work the next day. He came the next day with a helper and did the job. Jeff was easy to deal with, pleasant, and accommodating. They did a nice job, and I was very pleased to be able to have this work done before I put the house on the market.

We had last minute requests and they accomodated us, and treated us very professionally, fairly, and did great work. We got four estimates for this job. Jeff's wasn't the least expensive, but we instantly liked Jeff and Erin when they came to give us theirs, and we liked supporting a smaller, family-owned and operated business. Rainy weather held up the work for several weeks, but we were flexible, and Jeff kept in touch constantly to update us on when he thought they could safely paint. He never took chances, and we appreciated that. The finished repairs and painting far exceeded our expectations, and Jeff the Painter will be our go-to company for all future painting needs. Jeff was always on time, professional, very friendly, and did a great job. The job was done over 3 days and looked great. I was impressed by how quickly the job was completed and that he always made sure to clean up when he was done. We had the project done 3 months ago and it still looks great. Next time I need to get something painted, I will definitely call Jeff!!!
