Contacted Josue on Tuesday to discuss what was needed. Agreed on services and price. Said he would be at my home at 9am Wednesday. Arrived BEFORE 9 (which was NOT a problem for me) and was ready for work! Job completed above my expectations and will definitely be hiring him again for other projects.

Josue provided me with a reasonable estimate for assembling my furniture, and he and his teammate worked at least a full day to do a good job putting together my furniture, even putting felt pads and furniture socks on the bottom of the furniture. He even came back another day to assemble furniture that did not arrive in time for the initial assembly and reassembled furniture after faulty instructions from the manufacture caused the furniture to be mis-assembled. I was very pleased with the results.

Went very well the handyman arrived on time. Worked very hard all day to complete my long list of small projects. I am very pleased with the work and will rehire again soon to complete more tasks.

JP came out to give a free estimate. He throughly discussed a plan of action and said he would provide a quote. A few days later I received the quote which seemed reasonable. We agreed on a date for service. JP provided the materials for the door frame. I purchased the storm door and JP picked it up from the retailer. The service was completed and they installed extra door security. I’d hire them again.

Went very well. JP came out to replace wet, molded wood under my sink after a pipe broke. He did a wonderful job listening to what I needed. He came prepared with the material and got right to work. Finished in a timely manner and charged me exactly as we discussed and the replaced wood looked fantastic. I look forward to using JP again for future work.

They said that they will come after 5 and he reach out quarter to 4 and said that he can't come. I advised him that I already told them that he will come over, after that I haven't heard anything from him. He didn't showed up, I checked him and I reach back but he never responded. He lied by telling that he will come but he didn't. They are the worst and they waste people's time. He don't care if I will complaint him to Angie's List. Lack of communication.

Mr. Nesbitt was professional. He responded quickly and came when he had arranged to come. He notified me that he would be a few minutes late. He assessed the situation, methodically handled the job, and cleaned up afterwards. I would hire him again. Good Work!

PJ arrived at 8:00am as requested and did not leave until after 6:30 pm. I was very pleased they were able to complete all of work in one day as promised. I would definitely hire this company again.

Josue (owner JP Professional Services) was very responsive when I called. He gave me a date/time to stop by to see the various projects. For the siding, he walked the entire house making notes. He thoroughly explained the process, the cleaning solution used, etc. He did the same for the other projects, explaining everything - he is very knowledgeable and gave me some really good advice on how to maintain my patio (this wasn't on the list, but it was something that he noticed and honestly, something i wasn't sure how to handle so I appreciated the information). He was great with getting me scheduled right away, always sent a text before arriving (the rainy, windy weather delayed us for a day or so) but he was very prompt in returning once the weather improved. He purchased all the materials (wood, paint, etc) - was even able to find attic vents in a color that matched the exterior paint on the house. Every project went smoothly until it was time to put in the attic vents. Whoever built the home did a poor job installing the original vents and even though it was extremely challenging, Josue and team, figured out the best approach - I am so thankful. The original vents were falling apart, cracked and broken. Everything was done to perfection! Josue walked me through each project thoroughly upon completion. I couldn't be more pleased. He and his team did a great job - extremely professional, very knowledgeable, easy to work with and I will definitely call him for several additional projects that I have planned for the house. I needed half a dozen “Honey do” tasks around my new apartment. My daughter and I moved into a new apartment in Laurel, MD and Josue was a godsend. He was totally awesome. He was knowledgeable, pleasant, courteous and hardworking. We hated to see him go. We got lucky and used his Angie’s List coupon and we were THRILLED at the results, including pricing and quality of work. Josue is our “go to” guy from now on. Super, super service.

Josue did a great job. He was on time, charged us a fair price and has a very pleasant personality. We have several other projects in our home and will have him return to complete those.

I had Josh come out for several jobs that either I had been meaning to do and hadn't gotten to or repairs I couldn't quite figure out. He was punctual, friendly, and quick. I asked him to come for three hours and he was quick enough that I ran out of jobs. I didn't mind, as he had gotten everything done on my list and more! He was a pleasure to work with and I will definitely hire him again!

The porch now looks brand new and the railing is secured. We also had Josue paint the wood around the outside of the house. While painting, he replaced rotten pieces. Now the exterior of the house is freshly painted with a sturdy front porch.

Both jobs were completed quickly and professionally.

I will definitely be contacting JP Professional Services again...and again! I was impressed with a number of thing over the days Josue helped us complete projects in our home. He was professional, friendly, honest and took great pride in his work. Josue and William did a variety of large and small jobs for us including pressure washing our house, deck and fence, staining our deck and fence, installing a new overhead light in our kitchen, painting, adding shelves in a closet, cleaning a hard to reach light in our foyer and tightening a loose sliding glass door handle. In addition to this, JP Professional Services helped us fix granite counter top back splash installed by another company with poor workmanship. Josue removed it, repaired the mess and a large gap left behind with the initial installation and attached it properly. JP Professional Services was easy to work, paid attention to detail, provided reasonable prices and quality work. I would highly recommend JP Professional Services to anyone. Thank you Josue and William for all of your help!

JP Prof. (Joshua) did a great job. He made time in his busy schedule to immediately remove the contaminated area. He explained what he was doing at each step of the process. He worked with me to replace tiles since the bathroom was done several years ago. I was very satisfied with the outcome and the cost.

I scheduled an appointment with Josh on June 22, 2017 between 4:30 and 5:00 pm. Josh arrived promptly at 4:30 pm. He wasn't sure if I was home, so he waited until 4:45 pm and called me, only to find out I was already home. All this is good though, no complaint about this. I found Josh to be very nice and easy to talk to. I told Josh I had three projects that I needed done. The work included reinforcing the clothes rod on the wall in the master bedroom closet; install an attic fan; and insulate the attic. I told Josh I wanted the clothes rod reinforced and asked about securing so it would look nice. I told him just because it was in the closet I still wanted it to look neat. I asked about some brackets and if he could find some similar to what was already there. He assessed the attic fan and concluded it did need to be replaced because it no longer worked. We also discussed insulating the attic in which Josh recommended blown in insulation. He explained the procedure and assured me all would go well. So I told Josh I would be on vacation for two weeks beginning July 3 - 14th. I told him I wanted to have the clothes rod in the closet and the attic fan done first. I also told him I wanted the insulation done, but I wasn't sure how much that would cost. I asked Josh if he would itemize the cost of each project on his estimate. Josh said he would send me an estimate on Friday, June 23rd via email. Friday came and went; then Saturday; Sunday and no estimate. On Monday, June 26th I called Josh. He apologized and said he had a family emergency and that he would send me the estimate on Tuesday, June 27th. On Wednesday, June 28th I called Josh around 7:15 am and inquired about the estimate. He again apologized and told me still of his family dilemma and asked if I would bare with him. He also said he had problems finding an attic fan the size that matched mine at Home Depot and Lowes. He also had a problem with the brackets for the closet. Well it's been one month and five days now and I haven't heard from Josh. I called another handyman the week of July 10th and he fixed the rod in my closet as well as installed the attic fan. He gave me an itemized estimate the next day after assessing the work. I have not had the attic insulated as yet because I need to get my funds together, but that is the next project he will fix. I told Josh the day he came over the trouble I've had with individuals promising to follow through and he assured me he was different. I also told him if I was pleased with his work that I would recommend him to all my family; friends; and co-workers. Since having my projects completed by someone else, I have recommended him to several people and he has several new satisfied customers. As far as Josh's personality goes; I think he was a wonderful person. I just don't understand why he didn't follow through with the estimate. I can understand if you have personal problems, but it is up to the contractor to relay any difficulties to his perspective customer. I shouldn't have to keep calling you to find out what's going on. Josh had my email address, phone number, and home address. There is no reason for him not to have contacted me in all this time. I rated him solely on his lack of communication. If he was unable to do the job; changed his mind; or whatever; all he had to do was call or send an email. I would have accepted that and not given him a poor rating. Hopefully, in the future, he will realize it is just as important to communicate well with your customers, as well as doing good work. To me, it all goes hand in hand.

Before I go into detail about the project I want to say the JP Professional Service is HONEST, RELIABLE, FAIR and PUNCTUAL. I will definitely be using them again for future projects and will be recommending them to my friends, co-workers and homeowners association for my neighbors who need work. I set out to independently accomplish a simple and inexpensive makeover of my powder room by painting, replacing the toilet and laying peel and stick tiles. (I'm pretty cheap and had the time between a one-week break between jobs.) Removing the toilet and painting went well however I messed up the first cut of a tile when trying to place it around a pipe in the floor. In an effort to not waste any more supplies, I decided to call a contractor. Josue from JP Professional Service was at my house within a few hours of the initial contact to assess the job and provided a quote of $200 to lay the tile, place the new toilet and change out the faucet. I expected to pay more and thought the quote was too low. He and William showed up on the next business day at the appointed time. The floor tiles were installed quickly but when they went to install the toilet, it could not be stabilized. Josue found the toilet flange had been installed incorrectly by the original builder and that the pipe under it was also unstable. He advised that he would have to change the PVC pipe and flange and that part of the floor around the toilet would have to be removed to access the plumbing. This work resulted in an increased charge for parts and labor but Josue supplied the materials (PVC, plywood and 2 x 4's.) Upon beginning the removal of the floor, Josue discovered termites. Ugh! I contacted Terminix so the work stopped until the inspector could advise about the plan of action. While we waited for the inspector to arrive, Josue suggested that I install ceramic tiles. I was hesitant to put out much more money (especially with having to pay to eliminate the termites) but I agreed because of the value it would add to my home. Of course the rest of the floor that already had the vinyl tiles would have to be ripped out and there would be extra labor costs to rip out the floor and install the new tile. After the inspector left, Josue and William accompanied me to Lowes to select the stone tiles. We decided on porcelain tiles. The tiles plus the cement board, mortar and grout cost only $143.00! They stayed behind to purchase the plywood and 2 x 4's but upgraded to pressure treated to deter any termites left behind. The installation of the tiles would begin the next day which was also my first day of work at a new job. I had a key made and assigned a security code. They arrived just before I left for work and when I came home the tiles were in place. Today the job was finished; grout placed, toilet installed, pedestal sink with new faucet reinstalled. The quality of the work was perfect and everything was cleaned up to my satisfaction. They even fed and walked my dog over the last two days! I felt the increased labor cost was reasonable especially since they had unproductive time while waiting for the termite inspector and helping me shop. They could have been doing another job. I gave them a small gratuity for helping me shop and paid $100 more than the total quoted cost. I would have liked to be able to give more had it not been for the unexpected termite expense because it was well-deserved.

He was prompt and honest. I am going to use him for all the handyman projects I need! Very reasonably priced as well.

I called on two occasions to schedule handyman services. The first call I I spoke with Josh and he was busy so he promised me a call back. He called back two weeks later. We spoke and he asked me to text him the work I need done and he would call back to schedule my work. No call back and it's been another week. This handyman seems to either have too much work or is just unprofessional.

Excellent customer service and Job well done. I called Josue for an estimate for 2 chandeliers and shower door install. He answered and said he could stop by later the same day to give me the estimate. He called me about 30 minutes before to confirm and showed up promptly. He informed me that he was able to complete the job the same day and quoted me a fair price. He and his helper went straight to work and involved me throughout the process. He did a great job and was also very neat and cleaned up any mess. He takes pride in his work and wanted to make sure I was happy. Fast forward...later the same evening, I texted him because I wanted to lower a chandelier (note: it was my fault that the chandelier was too high), he quickly replied and told me that it was not a problem and he would come back the next day to fix it. Needless to say, my indecisiveness told me to leave the chandelier the way it is. I texted him again and canceled the appt. I want to especially thank him for his patience and customer service. My husband and I have a list of projects to do around our house and will definitely call JP Professionals to do it.
