They installed both support end-poles, and returned the next day and installed the door assembly. Overall, I am pleased with the product and service. But, I would have rated them with a (B+) instead of (A)….because they got paint on some areas of my wooden fence while painting some of the door material.

Last October, we bought a renovated home from a developer. Yesterday, the garage door was not opening and I called GDTS because I thought the issue was with the garage door itself. Louis informed me that it was probably the GFI outlet that needed to be replaced. An electrician came out and replaced it. I then called GDTS’s office again to inquire about resetting and changing the garage door’s code. Kenise was professional and courteous in explaining that she would email me the instructions to reset the code but that to change it, I would need to put in a service call. A couple of hours later, Louis called me and said he was close to our home and wanted to assist in the resetting of the code. After having some issues with this house, this was a lifesaver. I would definitely recommend Garage Door Tech Services!

Do not use this company. They install off market, subpar garage doors that break. In the first year that I had my door it broke every month. Even though they say they have 24 hour on-call service, it often took days for them to come and repair the door. It is often impossible to get ahold of them. In addition the door that they installed had faulty sensors that often didn’t work and put my children in harm’s way. They blamed everything but themselves for what happened. And they did not honestly fulfill their warranty obligations. I ended up having to hire a different company to redo their work. I would never recommend these people to anyone. Use a different company.

Mr. Burton, owner of Garage Door Tech Services, came to house, measured door, and gave estimate, Automatic roll-up door was order in the color brown. About three weeks later the door arrived at Mr. Burton's warehouse. He contacted me and scheduled the door for installation about a week later. Men he hired appeared on the appointed day, removed the old doors and set in concrete two steel beams to support and guide the roll-up door. The following day Mr. Burton and his colleague arrived with the roll-door. They installed the door, painted a few items that were not already brown with color matched brown paint, installed fencing to the left and right of the door to close open spaces, and finished by cleaning the area leaving the place cleaner than when they arrived. Happily, I can recommend Mr. Burton and Garage Door Tech Services LLC without reservation.

Both doors have failed within the first year. The company is refusing to honor their warranty because they said we tried to fix the doors Additionally, their representative Kenise was horribly rude, called us liars and hung up on us. I would never recommend them

We were very pleased with GDTS. They were excellent communicators (for example, called to let me know they were 30 minutes away) and did a great job installing our free-standing rolling garage door. They were significantly less expensive than the other quote we got for the same work, but the process and finished product were great. They were also very responsive to a maintenance requested related to the garage door hitting something (e.g. not related to a problem with the install). Two thumbs up!

On 11/05/15 I called to schedule a free estimate to repair my stuck roll up garage door opener. I spoke with Louis who was professional, courteous and responded timely. Not only did they arrive at my house within an hour they unjammed the door in 45 minutes :). I am very pleased with his response time. Prior to their departure they took time test the door to ensure it was properly working. Although it appeared to be a simple fix I am very satisfied with his work. I commend the exemplary customer service received and would definitely use him again.

It went well. The door was repaired and screws replaced on the garage door opener braces. The whole job took about 15 minutes with two guys working together.

My garage door hardware broke, and my garage door would not open and close correctly. I contact the vendor who installed my garage door opener ( Sears's) and they wanted to charge me a service call fee, for someone to come out around $104.00, then a price to replace my hardware, the final cost would have cost me well over $500.00. I turn to Angie's List and came across Garage Door Tech Services LLC, they were a life saver! there was no service call price to come out, the owner happen to answer the phone and took my information, came out the next day, the office manger called me to confirm my appointment, and the technician showed up on time and was very professional, completed the job and did not try to sell me anytime else. This company is more than a 5 star they are 11 star, that's better than a 10. I would highly recommend this company and I will use them again.

Service was excellent. This garage door is seldom used and located in a moist environment. I thought that it would need to be replaced but Louis came and perform all the necessary things so that it coud operate.

Louis initially came to assess my garage door in February after I called because the door would not open at all. I had tried to open it manually too (which I've done in the past) but was unable to get it to move up even a little bit. Louis managed to open the heavy door manually and assessed that there was damage to the motor. Unfortunately, he didn't have the required part to fix it in his truck but offered to come back with it later in the day. Unfortunately, I had a family emergency and could not wait. He did not charge me a service fee for coming out to check out the problem. He was also very prompt and extremely courteous. With the subsequent harsh winter weather and my own scheduling issues, I wasn't able to call him back to actually fix the motor until today (May). Again, the service was prompt and efficient and Louis was friendly and professional. I also thought the price was reasonable. I would highly recommend this company for any garage door issue. I wish all repair companies were as good as this one!

Louis Burton is a very good communicator. Checked on the job site multiple times monitoring progress of another contractor and helping give pointers to make his install as perfect as possible. Very accommodating and incredibly professional. The job turned out perfectly, thanks Louis.

very well. i called at 11am and they were here and done by 12:35pm. They happened to be in the DC area so came over after another job. It was a relatively simple fix, but that is what it needed and now it works great.

I loved my experience with Garage Door Tech Services. I called over the weekend to schedule an appointment for the following week and didn't expect my call to be returned until Monday. They returned the call on Sunday afternoon and were able to fit me in on Monday morning. Louis came within the scheduled time window and even called to let me know he was on his way. Everything was done very quickly and Louis even found a way to save me money. It's so rare to find someone who is competent, honest, and a pleasure to deal with. I strongly recommend this business and am very glad I found them through this list.

Very good experience. Arrived a little late but called ahead to let me know. Diagnosed the problem, explained it and fixed it in about an hour. Extremely professional and pleasant to deal with. I will definitely call Louis again the next time my door has a problem, and to do the replacement when the time comes.

The work was impeccable, he not only installed the door but he made adjustments that was not part of the initial appraisal at no additional cost. The difference, the quality is obvious. He also provided me with easy to understand maintenance tips.

It was perfect. Mr. Burton arrived when he said he would fixed the problem quickly and even serviced the opener so that it ran better than I hoped it would. It is an old system and will need to be replaced in the near future. Mr. Burton outlined various replacement options and I will definitely call him when the time comes. I researched Angie's List for garage door repair services and selected 3 companies having A ratings. Telephoned this company in the early am and described the problem to Mr. Burton, the owner. He made an initial assessment that suggested a broken spring. He presented as extremely knowledgeable and professional. He gave me an approximate cost of $250 to repair. He also indicated that he could make the repair later in the evening and gave an approximate arrival time. I am so pleased that I made the decision to use this company. Mr. Burton was expected sometime after 5:00PM. When he had not arrived by 6 I called and he reassured me that he was coming and would be at my home as soon as he completed the job he was on. Sure enough, he did. He assessed that my garage doors' failure had nothing to do with a broken spring but rather was the failure of the installation company to properly calibrate one of the doors mechanisms. I would only be charged $75. His integrity was what impressed me the most. Clearly, he could have charged the $250 and I would not have been the wiser. Mr. Burton and the gentleman working with him were cordial, neat and knew exactly what needed to be done. I highly recommend this company and will refer to friends, if needed and would definitely use again, if necessary.
