Pups Windows and Doors

Company promised to deliver in 2 to 3 weeks which turned into 5 wks. Could not reach the office and owner Curtis Taylor will promise you anything to get the contract. Lost $550.

Air tite was very prompt ,had estimate next day. Curtis Taylor was very helpful with information about my project. The price for his custom storm doors where cheaper than Home Depot to my surprise. Was very happy with his promptness. Very helpful. I would recommend this company to my friends and associates.

Job performed over a month late; windows not ordered on time due to lack of communication w/in company. Installed windows did not match specs as provided in advance; dimensions smaller than others already installed. Interior wood damaged with saws during installation; no attempt to repair w/putty. Exterior flashing damaged during installation; hole covered with caulk. One external seam above window not caulked during installation. Exterior caulking rough. Sloppy work, lack of attention to detail.

I was impressed that the owner of Air Tite came out to do the estimate. He was very knowledgeable and service was done as promised. A great job.

They arrived on time and worked steadily until the job was done. They were professional and personable. I would happily recommend this company.

Project completed October 2009. Good windows, but I didn't experience great service. I wouldn't use them again based on that alone, so I can't really recommend to others.

Happy with the results. Hope to use for replacing my windows.

The installer kept us informed on the status of our order. Through no fault of theirs, the truck in which our windows were waiting was stolen. Air Tite made sure we knew what happened and their office made sure we knew the replacements were on rush order. I have every intention to go back to them when we can afford to replace other windows in our home.

Pretty good contractor. Workers were a little messy and messed up my painted walls. But understood it was due to them fighting to get my old aluminum windows out. Anyway, the new windows look great and we are happy. Plus price was good and they worked in a timely fashion.

The repair team was excellent! They went over and beyond to ensure the job was done right. Thanks for everything guys.

One of the guys seem to be in a little bit of a rush. I had to ask for them to do things that I would have thought would have been automatically included, like reattach my alarm sensor. But, they did do it after being asked. Most importantly, they did not give me the warranty paperwork or mail it to me like they said they would.

The delivery was weeks late that was very disappointing for us. The windows were not as we expected, they were much to far indented from the outside and came inside to the window sill to far. Not what I expected. One of the windows does not lock properly now. I have to contact the Air Tite, they didnt bring the guarantee with them so I don't even know if there is a real guarantee. I was very disappointed.

Curtis, the owner, was quick to respond. He handled any questions and concerns in a professional manner. John, the person actually doing the work, was very professional, quick, and meticulous. He did a great job of repairing our rotting work and finished in minimal time.

Air Tite was willing to install just one window in my house. I had been unable to find anyone else who would do that.

They ordered the wrong color window and tried to "cap" it with paint by doing only the outside trim. Now it looks like a clown window. I will have to follow up myself and shouldn't have sign the completed work document. Crew also left debris in the yard and took my pry bar. 3 men, 5 hrs work, around ~ $2000 labor + overhead (est.). Way too much esp in this economy.

This company took 4months from the start to finish just to hang a steel door and storm door. Why? The owner measured the door wrong, then he ordered the wrong storm door. Everything went wrong and he wouldn't even return my calls.l

quick and quality work. helped me save money by providing other options than my original request which turned out to be more appropriate. would definitely use them again.

Please be aware of the quality of windows that are being offered! I was given this wonderful sales pitch of how great the Anderson silverline window was, and that he was "Ordering the windows for Anderson" Well, I found out that the windows were not ordered from Anderson, and actually purchased from a wholesaler in Bladensburg, MD. Two of the windows that were ordered were too small, and I had to wait over a month to receive them. Later, I found out that Curtis just purchased 2 pieces of insulated glass, trimmed caulked, and sealed the inside, and capped the outside. THE WINDOWS DID NOT COME FROM ANDERSON! Research!!!

I replaced 7 windows in a rental property in Pikesville. Even though I live in Los Angeles, Air Tite worked with me by phone and email. I was pleased with the estimate, the job was handled in the time frame promised, and the quality of the work and windows was excellent. I had a small problem with the office staff regarding payment, but we were able to work out a mutually satisfactory resolution.

They did windows and one door for me. The windows have been great. The door needed some adjustments that required them to come back to fix the problem (they did not properly caulk the door). It was very difficult to get someone to schedule an appointment - and they had to come out twice because the first time they did not have the materials needed to fix the door. I called /sent e-mails multiple times before getting any response to my problem.
