Pups Windows and Doors

Had 2 storm doors installed. Installation went well and the doors look nice. The only complaint I have is I was told the crew would do my install around 12 noon. The crew didn't show until 3:30. I tried to text and call the owner to advise me what to do as I had plans that afternoon. To this day I have not received a return text or phone call.

I didn't actually hire this company, but Curt Taylor examined our leaking door and made several recommendations that cured our problem. I highly recommend this company.

estimate was done quickly and went over the different options. explained the process. install took a little longer than expected but part of that was issues with my house. Friendly service and they did a great job

They did about $1k of property damage and refused to take responsibility. They claimed that since I couldn't prove they did the damage that it wasn't their fault. Looking back, two ways I could have avoided this issue are 1) video tape them while they installed the door, or 2) go with someone else. Next time, I'll choose option 2.

When the estimate was done, Curtis (Owner) explained the door construction and installation process, and suggested some areas to reduce cost. He also agreed to have his crew reinstall some blind from the old doors to the new doors. Thus was greatly appreciated. At installation time, the crew arrived well prepared, removed old doors and installed new ones quickly and properly, (there were some areas where the original doors were installed non-standard, but the crew was able to accommodate those issues). They did not mind my watching their work. Overall a very good experience. The only issue was delay in scheduling due to weather issues - I thought I was "bumped" a little too much in the weather-related rescheduling.

Great service. It took a couple of week for the door and windows to come in but once they did the install was quick. I am satisfied with the quality as well.

Air Tite will do an estimate next Wednesday. Your form does not allow for waiting for an estimate. After speaking with Curt I am sure they will do an expert installation at a fair price.

The workers showed up on time and did the work in a professional manner. Called before to tell me they were on their way. Were pleasant and friendly. If I ever need another door, I would definitely call them first.

Company did what I wanted.

They took my deposit and I didn't hear from them for 3 months. The workers were rude and did a terrible job. Dings in the door frame, my ceiling, the mail slot was crooked. Now a year later, the screws have all rusted and the mail slot is discolored. I replaced the doorknob with an identical match and it was was $25. He claimed all their materials were top of the line. They were not. I wouldn't recommend these people.

Professional and courteous. All old material was taken away. I was very pleased with the work , plus I really like my new door and screen door.

Great work, answered all of my questions, even the inane ones. However, the frame required was left for me to sand and paint. I am not sure if this is a standard procedure. I had to revisit and change this review. To my surprise; as I rarely enter or leave my home through the back door, the door did not remain locked even with the locking tab in the locked position. Moreover, when I brought this to the attention of AirTite I was told the key lock is on the outside of the door. I had to send a photo to show there was no key locking mechanism at all. In the interim I went back to the invoice which clearly stated the door was to have a key lock mechanism. Clearly the wrong door was installed. Of course, they said they will take care of it. Time will tell.

The job was estimated to be 3 weeks away but they got it done quite a bit earlier than the estimate. The work was professionally done. The installers were very friendly and helpful. Overall an excellent experience.

Great Service & Quality

Air Tite was prompt in visiting my home to give me an estimate, but once I signed a contract and materials were ordered, the job took MUCH longer to be completed than originally estimated. The initial timeline I was given was 6 weeks--it wound up taking months to get materials and have the doors installed and it took lots of follow-up from me--no one contacted me to let me know about delays or problems, I always had to call them. Once the job was actually completed, the installers did a really excellent job fitting new doors and storm doors into narrow, crooked rowhouse doorways--I could not be happier with the work itself. It's made a huge difference in the temperature of my main floor this winter, and the house feels more secure with storm doors. If the company had had better communication I could easily have given them 5 stars for a really well-done job. The installers were tidy and pretty polite--they did bicker a lot which was kind of awkward, and one of them complained constantly toward the end of the job, but at the end of the day they did a great job and I'm happy with the work.

They were fantastic!! Always on time, cleaned up carefully, everything worked beautifully and the workmen were so polite. I could not have been more pleased

Very good at getting the job done, could improve on the customer service side. Door was delayed at production but we were never notified and had to make several calls before we could get anyone on the phone. Once the door came in the installers did an excellent job.
