We interviewed quite a few basement finishing companies, and Joel stood out from the start as being the most professional. He was always right on time, kept his appointments, and got back to us when we called him with a question. He provided his license, insurance information and references to us the first time we met him. His references were all glowing, so he won the job. Joel was on time every morning, and completed the job on time and on budget. We did pay a bit more than originally quoted because we added in a few "extras" along the way. Joel was completely accommodating to us when we wanted to make changes or add in extra requirements. He even went out of his way on several occasions to do extra work that he knew we needed (that we were going to do ourselves, but we are expecting a baby and very busy). We ran into a number of issues with another contractor on the same project and Joel worked around it, no problem, and even helped us some with the problems we were having. It was exciting to see the work done, and we looked forward to going downstairs each evening to see the progress on the job. Joel cleaned up so much each day that it was hard to tell that he'd even been there - except for the amazing work he was doing, of course! Overall, a wonderful experience and I would rehire or recommend Joel in a heartbeat.
