I feel like I'll sound like a broken record given the many other outstanding reviews of Kitchen Savers, but believe me they deserve it! Every step of the process was exemplary. We had been considering a kitchen renovation for years. When we saw a Kitchen Savers booth at a community festival we shared our contact information just to get a ballpark sense of how much a renovation would cost. We received a call the next day to set up an appointment. Three days later we met with their salesperson who demonstrated extensive knowledge and creativity in walking us through a potential design. After seeing the outstanding reviews on Angie's List and getting a very reasonable estimate, we decided to leap...and we never looked back. The saleperson gave us excellent referrals for our granite countertop and backsplash and for new appliances. The work was scheduled to begin in less than two months with completion in two weeks...and that is exactly what happened. The workman who was assigned to our project was the most congenial person we could expect with whom to share time in our home. He was a tireless worker with tact and good humor. The project manager was in constant contact to ensure we were satisfied with the work and its progress. Plumbing and electrical work was completed timely, seamlessly and impeccably. Throughout, our home environment was kept as clean and uncluttered as possible. On final inspection we noted that the doors of a cabinet were just grazing the top of our refrigerator. We were prepared to live with it or, at most, have a small amount shaved off of each door. Instead, the project manager immediately said he would have new doors made to correct the issue. We can truly say that the quality of the results in our kitchen renovation was only exceeded by the quality of the customer service experience with Kitchen Savers. This company is truly one in a million!

They did the work while we were in FL. Overall the kitchen looks great but there were a few flaws that we would have liked to have shown them. We returned in May and called them with the issues that we had. The owner called us and they resolved everything. I would definitely use them again in the future.

OUTSTANDING. Kitchen Savers saying is "Prepare to be impressed." I was impressed. Work was very well thought-out - ahead of time. And communicated to customer. Samples of new materials were shipped here quickly. Detailed plan of what work was to be done was drawn up and shared with customer. Materials arrived on time. Installation was meticulous and thorough. When things didn't go exactly as planned, installer dealt with it "right" - as opposed to trying to work around it as quickly as he could. Two plumbing tasks turned out to be much more complicated than estimated. They dealt with them easily and fairly. Finished result looks very nice. I highly recommend Kitchen Saver.

Kitchen Saver was excellent. We interviewed several companies listed as A on Angie's List. Several of companies were not interested in doing anything beyond basic refacing the cabinets. We wanted to reconfigure one cabinet from cabinet doors to several drawers. We wanted to remove the vertical board between cabinet doors to make the cabinets more accessible. We wanted to add the rolling storage inserts inside the cabinets. Several of the other companies would not do any of this nonstandard work. Kitchen Saver's attitude was they would do whatever we wanted to make the kitchen the way we wanted. There price, while not the lowest, was reasonable for the scope of work we wanted done, and probably at least a third the cost of getting all new cabinets. The quality of the materials that they use was far better than the other companies. The veneer they use was a reasonable thickness of wood, rather than the paper thin veneer that other companies use. The door and drawer fronts are made by Conestoga, which is the same fabricator used by many high end new kitchen cabinet companies. Their standard door and drawer hardware is excellent quality. Mike, the installer who did our kitchen, was an old school finish carpenter, who did a superb job. He was very tidy and cleaned up at the end of every day so we could use the kitchen at night if we wanted to.Our island now looks like a piece of finished furniture, and the finish and quality of the finished cabinets is excellent. You would be hard pressed to tell that the cabinets are refaced rather than an all new installation. This is an excellent company to deal with. All of their meetings for the estimate and measure were on time and the installation was exactly as scheduled. If you are looking to reface you kitchen cabinets I don't know why you would use anyone else.

Professional... each step of the way. Dan the original representative, Tom measured, Mike was an outstanding craftsmen and Wayne came by and tidied any loose ends.

I called Shannon for an estimate, who I understood to be with Sears Home Improvement. She made an appointment for the estimate and gave no indication she was no longer with Sears or with a new company. When she arrived she was no longer with Sears and instead was with Kitchen Saver. That was not communicated until the time of the appointment when she and the owner of Kitchen Saver were in my home, which I found to be wholly unprofessional. This information should have been communicated prior to the appointment.

We had wanted to upgrade our kitchen since moving into our home in 2007. The kitchen cabinetry had not been updated or improved since our home's construction in 1984. It was time. We were notified of an open house in our neighborhood where KitchenSaver was showing the results of a recent project. When we visited we decided to have KitchenSaver give us an estimate for work in our home. Rob Mayne visited and helped us make decisions about every aspect of the work. He was knowledgeable and had good insights into what options would be good for us based on his experience with other clients. Once we signed our contract KitchenSaver came out and took detailed measurements of our kitchen and cabinets. The work was scheduled for a two week period in August and we were given a detailed day-to-day schedule. Mike Lilli showed up on the first day and took over the kitchen and turned it into something we see in magazine photos. He was professional and took great care to make sure everything was done correctly from the demolition to the refacing of the existing cabinets to the installation of the new cabinets. He even found slight defects in materials we would not have noticed until too late to make any corrections. Of course there are always some surprises when you tear a house apart and we were no different. In each case Mike worked with what he found and made everything fit. He also helped to coordinate the work of the plumber, electricians, and countertop installers. He came in as a carpenter and left as an old friend - all in two weeks. Then when the replacement materials were ready, Rick Cavey showed up and carefully installed them with the same attention to detail. We have a 10 year warranty on labor and materials which we probably won't have to take advantage of thanks to the craftsmanship of the KitchenSaver cabinet makers and the installation team.

Right from the start, I knew it was a good fit. I met Susan and her cohort (sorry, don't remember your name) at the armory in Annapolis. Took home their info, gave them my info, and off we went. Al, the salesperson, was great. I could whine, change my mind, and he was still the most pleasant person. But then I "met" the rest of the staff. What great people. What pleasant people. Even on the phone. John came and measured and made sure everyone did their job. Mike, who installed the entire job by himself, was so pleasant. He even went out of his way and rehung my blinds for me. The plumber who re installed my garbage disposal and reverse osmosis water filter was accommodating and really pleasant too. Then there was an issue with two doors, and Emery came and replaced those. Again, a pleasant person. I'd invite them all to my house for a bbq! All in all, for a person who has a terrible time with contractors, they were GRRREEAAATT!

Every person that we had contact with were on-time (if not early), professional, friendly, considerate, and polite. First the salesman came to our house to explain how their company is organized, its years in business (lots), and its guarantee of making the customer happy. They measured the job and gave us the quote while at our house. Although the price seemed a tad high, we were persuaded by all of the great Angie's List reviews. The installation took about a week to complete. Unexpectedly some of the drawer fronts had to be taken to the workshop to be worked on, but this did not cause any increase in price. After the initial installation, there were a number of "punch list" items for which another of their talented people came to complete - another two days, perhaps. After that, we were still not totally happy with the look of the very top of the new cabinet fronts on one side of the room and one drawer stuck somewhat where it had not before. We called Kitchen Saver and scheduled another visit - another full day as well as another strip of finished wood around the top of the cupboards on the one side, and new drawer sliders for the sticky door - all at no extra cost. Whenever we called to let the company know about any issue, their refrain was always something to the effect of "You have a 10 year warranty." And they mean it! You will never see a group of people so dedicated to their craft and who stand by their word.

Installation went well. They were efficient to come back and tweak some door issues. My recommendation would be to clean the glass if you order glass front doors, just as a courtesy to the customer.

Adam, the sales rep was excellent. He was the most responsive and supportive person on the Kitchen Saver team throughout the entire kitchen renovation process. He promptly returned all of my calls and patiently answered each question. Carol was also great in making sure that my calls were returned and messages were passed on. The overall kitchen work went well but I was surprised at how some important items were overlooked by the staff, such as installing caulk around the seam between the ceiling and the new cabinets. In the end the work turned out well.

Kitchen Saver was very good to work with throughout our entire interaction with them--from initial contact through completion of the services. At our home consultation, the salesman's approach was extremely high pressure, but he knew his job and made great design suggestions. After signing the contract, Kitchen Saver immediately followed up to schedule measurement services. After the measurements were taken, Kitchen Saver again immediately followed-up to schedule time to complete the services. Tim Mitchell, the gentleman who did the renewal services at our home was terrific. He worked long hours and was very meticulous to ensure everything was done right. Because the salesman had told us that the services could be completed in 6 days, Tim volunteered to work on Saturday so that we wouldn't have to take more time off than our planned days while the services were being completed. The glass shelves had not arrived for one cabinet at the time the initial services were being performed so when they arrived, Kitchen Saver again immediately followed up to schedule services to complete the job. Our technician, Rick, completed everything perfectly. What was really important to us was that Tim and Rick were both friendly, professional, and punctual and met our expectations. We were also blown away by the quality of the rebuilt island and the replacement drawers. The drawers are so much better than our originals that we are now thinking about having Kitchen Saver rebuild all of our other kitchen drawers in the future. Overall, we had a very positive experience.

My kitchen make over went unbelievably terrific. I must admit, especially as an "A" personality, I was nervous. The owner, Brett, lives up to the companies slogan, "Prepare to be impressed". Simply put, I am more than impressed. Kitchen Savers truly has individuals working for them that possess a craftsmanship one doesn't see often. The individual who put my cabinets together was amazing. His sense of detail is beyond one's imagination. He worked at my home for 5 days and left each day with my kitchen clean, dust gone, and I was able to visibly see something new completed. When was the last time anyone experienced this while undergoing a transformation of a room? The person who coordinates the timing of all the vendors, of course another "A" personality", handles her position perfectly. Now for the end product...Everyone who sees my kitchen can't believe the transformation and how gorgeous it looks. Kitchen Savers handles more than just Kitchens and now I'm trying to figure out my next project. In other words, I have a new, gorgeous kitchen. Simply put, a home run!

It was an incredibly disappointing experience. Estimator walked in and said why are you changing your kitchen it looks great? He tried to describe the style of our home (it's extremely modern--except for the kitchen!) he referred to it as contemporary, transitional. The strongest sales pitch ever commenced. We were constantly pressed to realize how expensive a kitchen re-do would be and how much we would save by using their services. Having recently remodeled a kitchen, I was pretty familiar with the cost, and he was way out of line. We were completely pushed on how unique their furniture quality cabinets were and for some reason, we would need to spend money reinforcing existing cabinet boxes--isn't to avoid that kind of thing the reason you reface as opposed to replace? After the third time of being told how expensive remodeling was, we declined to view his chart and simply said, we don't care, we just want to know your price. Without us having picked out one material--he gave a price 2-3x what I'd ever seen for refacing. We promptly suggested we no longer needed to waste his time and we were done. Of course, he immediately wanted to know what our price was... I got the sense his was going to magically change. Thanks but no thanks. Trust me, I could have fully replaced the cabinets for his price. I've had far more pleasant experiences buying cars.... And, like other reviewers, I got the distinct impression when I set the appointment that the estimate would only be scheduled when my husband could be there. They may do nice work based on these reviews, but we would never have gotten past the hard sell.

They will be remodeling the kitchen but at this time have completed the designs. They call back and come out and scheduled.

We could not be happier with the service provided by Kitchen Savers. Our technician Mike Lilly was professional, courteous, and on time every day. The kitchen was more of a challenge then I think he bargained for but it turned out absolutely great. All of the materials used were top notch and any question we had was answered right away. We will definitely be looking at Kitchen Saver's in the future if we redo another kitchen and will hopefully be able to request Mike be our technician.

Without charging any additional, they agreed to install flip out panels on all our cabinets throughout the house, including four in the kitchen, and eight in our three bathrooms. They also re-installed the three cabinets that were removed from the kitchen into our mud room for extra storage. One thing that impressed us was the fact that they never tried to talk us into additional work besides what we asked for. They gave us a sample of what the new cabinet wood would look like to be sure we were satisfied with the match. They did a very good job of matching the original cabinets which was a big concern going into the project. Our technician Doug was very polite, neat in his work habits, and personable. His workmanship was great. He took time to show us everything that he was going to do so there were no surprises along the way. Example: When he could not match the door hinges exactly on the new cabinets, he found some that were not visible when installed and used those on the island cabinets away from the existing ones. They look great and operate beautifully. As with any project, there were some "glitches" along the way. Everything was resolved in a timely professional manner. We are very happy with our updated kitchen.

Wayne, with Kitchen Saver's was great. He was on time, very professional and did an excellent job. I would highly recommend Kitchen Saver for any of my future custom cabinet work.

Tim Mitchell and team did a fantastic job. I was impressed by their professionalism, craftsmanship, and attention to detail. The crew worked fast and cleanly and the project was completed in a timely manner with minimum disruption of our routine. All materials were delivered / installed as previously laid out in the contract. The quality of materials and end result truly exceeded my expectations. The entire process went smoothly and we ended up with a new kitchen in less than a week?s worth of work. Thank you all for a terrific job!

Everyone involved from start to finish was very professional, courteous and expert at what they did. Sam, our installer worked diligently every day, cleaned up before leaving and consulted us on every aspect of the installation. His quality of work was excellent. We were thrilled with the results and would highly recommend this company. They also directed us to Pyramid Granite. After visiting the nearby showroom and selecting new counter-tops, we never had to do anything else. Kitchen Saver made all the arrangements for delivery and installation of the granite. They were receptive to our every question and concern and finished up 2 days early.

I felt well taken care of throughout the entire process, from the estimate, to the prep work and during the actual installation. The time-frame from the estimate to the work did take a few weeks because of their busy schedule. Once started, the kitchen was completed in one week from Monday-Friday. I was a little surprised that one person did the majority of the work. He did have help with the counter top installation and a plumber put in the dishwasher, disposal and faucet. Tim was the primary person on the job and he was amazing. His professionalism and attention to detail are second to none. Tim worked smoothly, causing minimum disruption in our lives, for a kitchen remodel. It was fun to see the kitchen take shape day by day as each new layer and piece came into place. I did have one glitch that delayed the delivery of the microwave, however this was not an issue for Kitchen Saver as they promptly sent someone, just to install the unit, once it came in. I did rate price a B, not because I thought it was too high, but because it is tough to spend that amount of money. Thanks again to Tim and Kitchen Saver for their top-notch work. We now have a kitchen that we want to show-off!

The workmanship was excellent. My issues were with the sales process and the estimate for the work. The sales guy was very pushy. Our work was estimated for 4 days but took 6 days.

Almost two years later the kitchen still looks great and absolutely no problems.!!!!!! The sales staff was great. Adam Taylor explained options and was flexible and offered different options to give us a sense of cost and value. Everything written and costs were finalized and fixed so there was no guessing. He was very professional and patient. The install time was suppose to take two days but they were done in on day. They showed up on time and worked throughout the day. The team was professional and was easy to have in the house. During the walk through of the finished work the team pointed out that there were two things that needed to be ordered and fixed. I did not have to find it. They cleaned up nicely. The tow items were ordered and the team came back promptly and finished the work. All the supporting folks on the phone were great, responsive and went out of their way to ensure we felt like their number one customer- outstanding. The kitchen looks great and we could not be happier with the results. This was a very good experience and we will certainly use this company again.
