Kitchen Saver

Excellent. Tim Mitchell was our tech. and he was excellent. Punctual, meticulous, and thorough. He made sure that everything we wanted was done and looked wonderful. He went the extra mile to make it all right. The job involved a plumber and an electrician. Both were very professional and efficient.

Our installer, Patrick Calhoun, was amazing and a perfectionist. From the beginning of the process to the end, the professionalism was evident every step of the way. I am so glad I was convinced the difference a white kitchen would make; truly amazing transformation.

The kitchen looks amazing. I was surprised how much work it took to replace the cabinet doors, drawers and hinges. Hossam Elghodady and Shelton did a great job and were very detailed about it. It was like they were working on a job in their own home and wanted it perfect. The quality of the cabinet fronts and veneers used on the sides is great. I had 5 cabinets that had to have the entire interior sanded to be veneered since they had glass doors. My old cabinets were white so they had to veneer the inside to match the doors for the glass cabinets. That meant lots of sanding. Hossam brought back the molding to install a few days later and he is such a master craftsman at what he does. I couldn't even see where the seams were it was done so well.

This was the best workmanship that I had every seen in my life time. I had grown up by my father saying that your work and craftsmanship meant everything that you are as a person and company and Kitchen Savers and their employees are the tops. Michell and Rudy should be commended for a outstanding job and quality that they showed me and their company. I can't thank you enough.

They have a slogan, "Prepare to be impressed" on the side of their trucks but I think they need to change it. It should read "Prepare to be really impressed." We are not people that are impressed easily, especially my wife who was the director of facility services for a hospital and dealt with repairs, renovations and many construction projects in her career. Now she says at least once a day, "have I told you today how much I love my kitchen." From start to finish there was nothing that ever had us thinking - "did we select the right contractor." From the salesman, Adam, to Roy, the destructor, to the best Rudy, the man who did the new work, assembly and the problem solver. To John who designed, measured and had the cabinets built, to Dereck who did the vent and to Mike and Dave the electrician and plumber. All professionals are extremely talented in their trade. Adam was our first contact with the estimate and the story of the company. He sold us on the company, quoted us the cost and gave us a discount if we agreed to sign that day. So I would tell anyone that if you want multiple estimates, Kitchen Saver should be last because the discount was worth it. Then Adam sketched his vision of the work and we made a few changes and settled on the new design. Next John came in with the sketch, did the measurements and gave us the estimated starting to completion dates. While we waited for the start, which was about 3 weeks after John's visit, we used the time to select and buy our countertops, our new garbage disposal, and our over the range microwave. The project started on May 2nd, with Roy who tore out our old cabinets and busted the hole in the wall between the kitchen and dining room. What a great job he did, especially keeping the dust at a minimum, hauling away the old and cleaning up when finished. It was 1 day and it was very clean when he left. Day 2 Rudy showed up. What a great guy. He was there for the remainder of the installation. Expert for the install, managed the electrician and plumber work, and very early on, saw a problem that would need to be fixed. Because of the handle on my sliding door to my deck, they would need to make an adjustment to one of the new cabinet drawer's and door. It required them to remeasure this one space and order a new door and drawer. Rudy identified and immediately told us of the problem and uttered those famous words that put our minds at ease - "that's not your problem, it's mine and I will take care of it." We had one other set back when the countertops were being installed, between the kitchen and dining room, the piece cracked and would have to be re-cut. But once again, Rudy, " not your worry, it's mine and it will be taken care of." The total project, with the exception of the drawer, door, and the re-cut countertop was done by the 17th of May and we moved back into our new kitchen and began using it. The remainder, because of the 2 problems was done by the 25th and it was great; taken care of as Rudy assured us. The daily cleanup during the project was amazing and we wanted to keep Rudy, but he has a young family so we had to let him go.

We wanted a general idea of the cost. They actually didn't give us a written quote, none of them did, they just wrote something on a piece of paper and put it in their pocket. He did what he was suppose to do. All of them had the same tactics. It would've been great if he had left some written information, but none of them do. It was fairly decent. He was confident. He basically made it clear he had a good product, and it's expensive. It doesn't matter very much if we decided to use it or not, because he is the best out. We got that message loud and clear. It wasn't a hard sell. It was basically saying we know we have a great product, and if you want it you want it, and if you don't you don't. He gave us what he thought it would cost and said if we liked that to call him within two weeks, if not, he said we wouldn't hear from him anymore, and he just walked out the door. I wasn't offended by anything; it was his sales pitch. He was confident in his product, said he had a good product, and said to call him if I wanted to use it. I could handle that. They were here on time. They do have a good product, and I would use them again for a quote.

When I called Kitchen Saver for an estimate they refused to come if both homeowners were not home-this was my project and I resented that stipulation. Kitchen Saver (Wayne) made my kitchen look new again. Wayne arrived on time every morning and cleaned up the area before he left in the afternoon. I am really happy with the work and would recommend KS to others.

Hossam from Kitchen Savers did a very professional job with attention paid to detail. Hossam Once the woodwork, painting and granite put in place we now have a kitchen to enjoy for many years to com. Kitchen Saver's staff in the office were always courteous and customer service at all levels were excellent.

Everything went as planned. Our installer, Mike Lilli was great. Kitchen looks beautiful.

We had an excellent experience with Kitchen Saver. Starting with our sales rep. Dave Campbell who guided us to the right color and cabinets. Bernie who came and measured for the install was so professional and answered all of our questions. Tim Mitchell who did the insallation is a true craftsman. Tim did an excellent job and we are so happy with his work. I highly recommed Kitchen Saver.

I met one of the salesmen (alone) at the Dulles Home Show and signed up for an estimate. Dale called me to make an appointment. She asked if both my husband and I would be there, I told her that it would just be me, as he was unable to be there and was happy with whatever company I chose. She proceeded to tell me that they couldn't come out unless my husband was present. The salesman at the show never mentioned this- or we would've kept walking. Hard to believe that this is their policy in today's world. I was so disgusted with her attitude, that I will look elsewhere for another company.

The entire process from the initial sales representative, administrative staff, and the refacing installer was smooth, transparent, easy, and the finished product professional. The installer, Mr. Ken Odell, deserves special recognition for his attention to detail, quality of workmanship, expertise, knowledge, and years of experience in the refacing process. The final inspection of the refacing for the kitchen cabinets, counter top, and plumbing exceeded my expectations.

Al did a great job of presenting our options to us, and was easy to reach when needed. Carol at the office was always helpful. The job was performed by Sean Bryan and he did a great job on the cabinets - a true craftsman. He kept the work area tidy, protected the surrounding area, and kept us informed of his progress. The folks KS uses for counter tops at Rock Top Fabrications were also great. All in all, a great experience with Kitchen Savers.

Requested an in home consultation to price having our cabinets refaced. They would not come out to give estimate unless my husband was present for the meeting too. My husband does not care about our home improvement projects and they would not make an appointment unless he was there too. Ridiculous. I don't like a hard sell, and I don't appreciate a company with a condescending attitude. It looks like they do nice work, but they won't be getting my business. Do they realize it's 2017 and women can and do make decisions concerning the family finances?

KitchenSaver is a miracle-worker! Their ideas, products, and professional workmanship converted a galley '60s-era kitchen (with no dishwasher) into a sleek, sparkling modern kitchen that will sell my house. They met my needs and more, at a cost well below what I had expected to have to pay. They started the project on time, and finished it on schedule. Their professionals were experts at their craft. My only regret is that I didn't have the work done earlier, so I could enjoy it more.

I was very impressed with the work done, and especially with the skilled carpenter, Wayne McClung, as well as the plumber, who were thorough and professional, but also very helpful with advice, information, and problem solving.

The result is amazing. From the initial sales meeting to the measurements and installation, every step was conducted extremely professionally. Chris Forrest, the installer, did a meticulous job and completed the work in 2 1/2 days! We are extremely impressed with the quality of the materials and his workmanship. If your cabinet interiors are in good shape, you will save time and money using Kitchen Saver to replace the cabinet doors. We couldn't be happier with our "new" kitchen.

Failed to show up even after calling to confirm the appointment. Found a local individual that gave us a whole new kitchen at a reasonable cost.

Our installer, Ken, was a meticulous, master craftsmen. He made sure every small detail was perfect. Showed up promptly at 8 am every morning and worked all day with a brief break for lunch. Always cleaned up before he left, so we would be disrupted as little as possible. John, the project manager, was great - checked in often to make sure we were happy or had any concerns. Our kitchen is gorgeous! We are extremely happy. The first picture shows the old kitchen, the second and third are the new!

The work went extremely well and we are 100% satisfied with what we contracted for and what Kitchen Saver delivered. They exceeded our expectations. The only problem that arose pertained to the replacement of the appliance garage. The size we were replacing was no longer available, so Kitchen Saver custom made an appliance garage that filled the existing space and looks great. In closing, we're delighted that we chose Kitchen Saver and would highly recommend them to anyone who asks.

The company was very knowledgable and provided a an excellent install. I would highly recommend this company. The install contractor was very nice, took time to explain what he was doing and they met their scheduled completion date. Great company.
