Kitchen Saver

We are very satisfied with the whole process and how everything turned out. We had a million questions and changed our minds more than a few times, but they handled it well and now our kitchen looks brand new although we kept the countertops and the same layout more or less. Everybody involved was very friendly and helpful. I especially appreciate them being willing to come back a couple of times to fix some small cosmetic issues after the main project was complete. These guys are a little pricier than others, but it's worth the extra cash in the end. Rudy and his helpers did a great job, and I'd recommend them to anyone I knew who is thinking about a kitchen remodel.

The Kitchen Saver team did an excellent job from start to finish. Our kitchen looks brand new. Our installer Hossam Elghdady did an amazing job. He was very professional and courteous and an superb carpenter. Thank you.

Went according to schedule. Brett promised that I would have my kitchen the Monday before Thanksgiving and he was RIGHT ON!! Mike Lilli was the best cabinet installer!

It all went remarkably smoothly. From the initial meeting with Brett, the owner, to the final small repairs by Rick, we were very impressed with the work and the service. Sean Bryan was the cabinet installer. He came every morning, always on time, for a week. I was often working at home, and he was respectful of my privacy and work, keeping his radio low, and coming and going as needed. He always cleaned up before he left. He is a delightful person along with a highly skilled cabinet installer. I completely trusted him and his work on the cabinet installation was fabulous. When Rocktops came to install the granite, it fit perfectly over the cabinets. Everyone we dealt with, including Carol, in the office, who made all of the appointments and helped address all my questions and concerns, were pleasant, prompt and tremendously helpful. My husband and I had heard horror stories about kitchen make-overs that took months. Ours took exactly as long as Kitchen Savers said it would, and they coordinated the timing of the plumber to install the sink and faucet. We feel that the results are well worth the price.

Wonderful! Everyone that came into our house was professional and skilled. Sean, Bryan, Rick and Dave were great! In two weeks we had a new kitchen!! Great communication and a quality product.

Our installer, Mike Lilli, was conscientious, dedicated, hard working, capable and pleasant throughout as he ably completed our cabinet re-facing. When he left work for the day, he cleaned up and organized his tools in a neat non-obstructive way. He seemed to go that extra step in pleasing us with the finishing touches. Kitchen Saver is lucky to have this outstanding gentleman on their team! Rick Cavey who installed the delayed arrival corner shelves, also did an excellent job for us.

We encountered some unexpected plumbing issues that delayed progress somewhat, but all were resolved well. Otherwise, all went beautifully and I was especially pleased with the work of Hector Gomez, the main cabinet remodeler. He was a perfectionist and easy to work with.

Overall, it went well. There were 2 reasons I hired this company on the spot. One was because of reviews. The second was because I did not have the time or inclination to be the project manager nor did I have the time to interview other companies. They seemed high for what was not included, but after having been through the renovation for a small bathroom where I had to hire the subs, rent equipment, carry supplies, make measurements, etc., and I didn't have to manage the project, and I figured from my experience in getting quotes for the bathroom, most contractors were going to be close enough to each other. Plus I got the 10% discount even though I knew they were pressuring me to to sign that day (which I could have gotten using a coupon that your website sent me). Fortunately, later that day, I felt a little better when I was able to call back to make sure the final quote included everything, and I wouldn't be charged any additional money for reasonable, minor unplanned findings. So first I'll tell the good stuff. 1. The cabinet installer was an A+ professional. His attention to detail and resolving his unplanned discoveries went smoothly for me, though not for him and he took it as a challenge. He got his work done and worked within the time frames of the electrician, plumber, and granite installation. Plus he left the kitchen cabinets and entire work area clean and spotless. 2. The job was planned for 10 days, and they finished in 5 days, ahead of schedule. Now the troubling issues: 1. The first hiccup occurred when the company that delivered the new range I purchased and was supposed to uninstall (defined as "unplug") and haul away the existing range discovered it was hard wired, and not being electricians, legally were unqualified to disconnect it, which meant they couldn't haul it away. When I called the project manager, and told him of this, he told me I had to pay their electrician whatever he wanted to do the additional work, or I should hire my own electrician. I explained to him that he should have realized the range was hard wired. Afterall, the guys that came to haul it away, immediately realized the range was hard-wired, by just looking in the range drawer. I also told him that I was not going to hire an electrician, and his electrician would be doing the extra work, and that I would only pay if there were additional parts, but I believed that I should not be charged the additional labor if the wiring was functional and the simple task of installing an additional receptacle should well be within his quoted time. The project manager also didn't realized that the range couldn't physically be removed, until the kitchen cabinet above the range was removed. I believe the project manager should have realized all this. I had to reschedule the guys to haul away the old range, not an easy task, short term. That whole ordeal, especially being told to hire my own electrician, should never have been said. 2. Besides #1, there were two minor final hiccups both quickly resolved after I called a. The first was that I was promised that the kitchen would be "paint ready" and it was not. b. The second was that the garbage disposal could not be switched on. Final comments: I still need to have the kitchen painted (which will eventually get done), but even so, its been a month, and I have to say, that I am so happy with the kitchen, I just love walking into it and I still can't believe the transition. I am also happy that the electrician completed the "extra work" at no extra charge.

We signed the contract and then discovered through friends and further research that we were paying an astronomical amount more. The sales person was so friendly during the sale, but not as much after we cancelled. :(

It went great! They were ALWAYS there when they said they'd be there. We delayed their start date and they were able to accommodate the change. They said it would be two weeks and it was, two weeks. They took care of everything. Adam, Bernie, Hassam, Carol, and Rick thank you SO much for helping to make it a wonderful experience!

The estimator was very knowledgable, friendly and professional. He came on time when promised. I had to call the office a few times on follow-up matters and they were very prompt in getting back to me. The estimator gave me his card and encouraged me to call his cell, which I did and he answered or got right back to me. How refreshing! The installer was also prompt, friendly and professional. The sliding shelves and trash can are working great. I would definitely use them again.

Installers Rudy and Simon were terrific. They were fussier than I am about their work, friendly and polite, and excellent workers. They cleaned up every day and finished ahead of schedule. I'm also very pleased with the product. My cabinets look great. Dealing with the company was also excellent. They came when they said they would, called if there were any hold-ups, and were consistently pleasant to deal with.

Super! The sales person, Al, was very nice, a good listener, not at all pushy, confidence inspiring, and very knowledgable after many years of doing this first as an installer and then as a sale person with the same company. He also showed us a number of appropriate and good door design options. The gentleman who came to measure was also very nice, skilled, and had been doing it for years as well. And finally the installer, Hassam Elghudady, was excellent as well. He too had been doing it for many years, was very professional and nice, and went way beyond what he needed to do just to help us out. Very impressive! All the positive reviews on Angie's list turned out to be true.

Great. The sales person was very helpful with suggesting improvements as well as the best options. He provided a detailed list of homes they had already completed work in for us to contact. The price was slightly higher than I anticipated, but after seeing the finished product, we could not have been more satisfied. Installer was professional and answered all questions we had. He also was careful and cleaned all areas he worked on. We would definitely recommend Kitchen Saver for a great company to do business with.

Very well. Tim Mitchell, Dave, and Emani did the work in less time than had been expected, and the work is very good. Very courteous and professional gentlemen.

It went great. Their installer, Hassam, was here for one full week - it was quite a bit of work. Normally he worked 10-hour days. Hassam paid a lot of attention to detail and explained the process to me as he worked. I knew each day what to expect. Hassam is very talented. Brett Cohen - the President/CEO - is great to work with also. I was referred to Kitchen Savers by a friend who was very satisfied with the work done in her kitchen - hers turned out great as well. I don't plan to sell my house any time soon - but when I do - I know the kitchen will be a selling point. I also got new countertops and appliances but that was separate from the work Kitchen Savers did for me. Kitchen Savers did, however, refer me to Rock Tops for the countertop work. I'll get the backsplash installed in the near future.

It's spectacular! Great quality of work, professionalism and everyone who came into the house did a great job. I will absolutely recommend them and use them, again.

Well. The person performing the work ( Hossam Elahodady ) was very pleasant and checked with me at every stage so that not even the smallest detail was missed. My kitchen looks terrific.

Rudy Javorsky was the technician assigned to our home, and he was amazing! He is a true craftsman who is as serious about the care of your home as you are. The kitchen is beautiful!

From the moment we called Carol (we knew we were in good hands) then Adam came out for the estimate and he was just super. Then Bernie came to measure and he was not only knowledgable but certainly knew what he was doing. It was a treat to talk to him. Then Carol called to tell us that Hassan Hassan would be doing the work. He arrived right on the very minute they said he would. He filled us with confidence telling us each step he would take and then he got right to work. He was AMAZING! Each day our kitchen was left spotless and each day Hassan was back to perform more miracles. What can we say other than if you give stars then five would NOT be enough for the work that Hassan did and how pleased we are with Kitchen Saver.

The entire experience exceeded our expectations. From the custom-built cabinets, the exceptional craftsmanship that goes into it to the courteous and helpful nature of the employees. Sean Bryan did the main work for our kitchen and whenever something would come up, such as when one of the cabinets that should have stayed was accidentally demoed, he immediately took care of the problem, custom-building replacements in virtually no time. The workmanship is exceptional! Also, everyone we dealt with with Kitchen Savers was professional and experts at what they do, from the salesman Tony Gardina who really had a lot of design experience and helped us settle on the right design, to John Riegert who worked a minor miracle on dealing with an odd pipe in the house to Carol in the office. What's also great is that Kitchen Saver is an All American Company. Everyone who works for them that we saw were local-grown people and we know that our money is going back into the community. We found them at a Maryland Home show that my wife dragged me to. We were inundated with all sorts of pushy companies and I was ready to leave until I saw the rep for Kitchen Saver. We had a very sane conversation, no pressure at all and that very first encounter was memorable. It's remained that way from start to finish. Extremely professional craftsmen running an exceptional American company. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Fairly well. My only complaint is that there were a couple of days that the installer only stayed a half day. However, in spite of that the job was completed within 5 days as promised.

We are very pleased with the whole project and we strongly recommend Kitchen Saver. From beginning to end, everybody is very professional and they are always available to answer any question. Kitchen Saver transformed our kitchen from traditional to comtemporary and the result is amazing! Hussam is the expert in kitchen refacing and has a lot of knowledge in carpentry and woodworking. We would definitely choose them again!
