Kitchen Saver

Project was finished ahead of schedule. Price was approximately $2,000 higher than other quotes, but I used Kitchen Savers because of its Angie's List "A" rating. Cabinet resurfacing was well done. One counter-top was cut too long for the stove to properly fit which was disappointing because I made a special request, when measurements were being made, that extra care be taken to insure a proper fit with the stove. Company personnel refused to fix the problem. The replacement sink had three holes instead of one hole as promised. Company personnel refused to replace the sink (they incorrectly claim three hole sinks are not available despite being shown examples). They did install a plate to cover the extra two holes. The facet was quoted as having a weight to automatically retract the sprayer. The facet that was supplied has an unweighted sprayer that is manually retracted. Company personnel refuse to address this problem. Company personnel have refused to make a price adjustment for the mistakes, stating "it is not our policy to make price adjustments."

Kitchen Saver did a fantastic job refacing and modernizing my kitchen cabinets. The whole experience was great from the first meeting to the finished product. They were responsive and punctual and provided me with all kinds of options. I never felt pressured to give them my business - they sold me with their professionalism and the information they gave me. The installation process was timely and well organized. They kept me informed the the whole time. Our installer, Chris, was excellent. He did a beautiful job and surprised me with his professionalism and his willingness to go the extra mile to be sure we were satisfied. The finished product exceeded my expectations.

Kitchen Saver refaced 41 cabinets/drawers in our kitchen and the finished product is perfect, look like brand new cabinets. The project was done in the scheduled timeframe and the installer, Dave, was an excellent craftsman. Dave was very meticulous and even adjusted some cabinet doors with an opening "stop"so they didn't bang into close adjacent cabinets (due to our kitchen layout) and our refrigerator. All in all an excellent installation and product.

The overall job went well. All phases were well organized with detailed explanations on the process and timelines. The estimator (Dan) was on-time for the appointment, estimated the job requirements and made suggestions on door selections, colors, and accessories. The "measurer" (Bernie?) was on-time to finalize measurements and plans, and provided an estimate on the total number of days it would take to complete the job. The cabinets were custom-built in about 4 weeks. The installation manager, John, called and confirmed the installation appointment, dates/time. Ken O'Dell the installer/professional carpenter showed up on time each day and worked a full-day, the entire job took about 7.25 work days. Ken did an outstanding job and we are pleased with the results. During the installation process, the electrician (Marvin) installed "under the cabinet" lights. Also, during this process we amended the contract to include 3 new birch pull-out drawers; John and Carol made it so effortless to include this addition. The new drawers were installed about 2 weeks later. Upon completion of the job, John called to solicit feedback and ensure we were satisfied with the results. We were pleased with the professionalism of all of their employees who are employees of the company (instead of sub-contractors). We highly recommend Kitchen Saver for your kitchen re-modeling needs and we would definitely use them again.

Once the deal was sealed with the aggressive salesman, it was smooth sailing!! Tim Mitchell transformed my 1965 retro kitchen into a beautiful, new modern kitchen within a week, and I could not be any happier!! It is exactly what I had envisioned!! Tim is top notch ... very professional, beautiful workmanship, pays attention to every detail. He was there when he said he’d be there, left the kitchen spotless at the end of each day!! 5 stars plus!! I am a very satisfied customer! Thanks Tim!!

I was told was told by the project manager that it would take 5 days from start to finish once construction began and they were accurate. The person who did most of the work was professional and each day left the job clean and all the equipment orderly. I am very pleased with my the job done. The materials used are top quality.

Al Brauer, Kitchen Saver's representative, came to our house to talk with us about our options, help us make decisions, and describe how the job would go. When the time came to install everything, Tim Mitchell arrived on time every weekday for the duration of the job. Each day he described the work he had done and what he would work on the next day. He was very meticulous and clearly cared about doing a great job. The granite countertop was done by RockTops and Tim stayed for the installation, to insure that everything went well and to see if he could be of assistance to TeTe and Henry who carried huge and heavy slabs of granite into our house. Our kitchen looks beautiful! We highly recommend Kitchen Savers and Tim Mitchell.

The cabinets look like they are brand new! Every detail is perfect. Sean Bryan was a skilled workman, extremely courteous and respectful, and completed the job on time.

After submitting an online inquiry I received a call from someone representing Kitchen Saver (it sounded like she was from a national call back service - not the local representative). She insisted that they would only schedule an estimate if I could guarantee that both I and my husband would be home since they "couldn't be sure that [I] could make a decision without him." Needless to say I told her I would not be hiring them to do the work!

Everything went exceptionally well . Tim Mitchell was the installer. His attention to detail was extraordinary and he cleaned up meticulously each day and at the end of the job. We are extremely pleased with the job.

All the staffers involved were very professional and knowledgeable, from the gentleman who came on-site to write the proposal to the gentleman who installed the roll-out drawers. We are especially pleased with the work of the installer, Mr. Hossam Elghubadady, who was very courteous and competent and who did some extra adjustments/cuttings to improve the utility of the pantry section. We appreciated Mr. Hossam’s efforts each day to keep the place clean—he always laid the cloth on the floor, hauled away garbage, and vacuumed the kitchen thoroughly, thus leaving the place in livable conditions. We like the assurance that Kitchen Saver will soon replace the pantry door, which does not close tightly. And the company's 10-year warranty is reassuring.

The process from sales through installation was top notch. After a small hiccup in the early stages of demo, everything went smooth and on time. Our installer Tim Mitchell was great to work with. He always respected the fact that he was working in our home and never inconvenienced us in any way shape or form. He should be proud of his workmanship and he qenuinely cares about not only completing the project, but treating the job site as if it were his own. Job well done !!! .

Adam came to our home today to provide an estimate. He earned our trust- and our business- right away. We are looking forward to getting our new kitchen cabinets! We spoke with other companies before deciding on Kitchen Saver and not only was the product much better, Adam was creative, smart and honest. He even offered ideas to save us money. We will do another review after our work is done but just on the consult, we give adam and kitchen saver an A+. One more thing: we read reviews from clients complaining about the company policy requiring all homeowners needing to be present for the consult. This isn’t sexist, it’s just smart. Smarter for the consumer and smarter for the company. Coming out another time to speak to a spouse who wasn’t present the first time wastes company time and money. Smartly, kitchen saver passes the savings on to the consumer- if you sign your contract upon the first visit, you get a significant savings.

Mr Tim Mitchell was great 👍🏾 He is very knowledgeable and professional. I would recommend him if you are using kitchen saver. As far as the company their Communication was very poor. The project manager never followed up on the job or communicated with customers through out the renovation but one time.. I’m just so happy we had Mr. Tim as our installer, because he ensured our renovation ran smoothly..

Very impressed with the service as a whole and especially with the technician that actually did the installation of 90 percent of the job. Hassan was outstanding in his professionalism, knowledge of the work, and punctuality everyday! We have a rather large kitchen and we were told it would take two weeks to complete at the beginning. They started the installation on the schedule day and finished on time without any interruption during the job. I was a little concern when only Hassan showed up the first day, I asked where is the rest of your crew and he explained that they only use two people if there is some heavy lifting involved, other than that it would be just him. Right away I was skeptical that this amount of work could be completed on time, but to our surprise it went as smooth as possible and so far we are thrilled with the results!

Our on site contractor, Rudy, was punctual, cleaned up after each day and the work was done beautifully. Project was completed when scheduled. Also, after we decided we wanted a different molding on the top of the cabinets, Kitchen Saver did the replacement in a timely manner.

I liked that they were responsible for coordinating all aspects of measurement and installation activities. The installer answered all of my questions and provided clear and concise explanations. Everyone was very friendly and very helpful.

The salesman, Adam, came out within a few days of my call. He did a good job of explaining my options. After I made my choices, he did a count and rough measurement of everything and gave me a price. He did offer a "buy-it-now" discount. Normally I distrust any business that does that, but in this case I was actually ready to buy as I had checked other companies and Kitchen Saver had other good reviews, so I took that discount. He set up a tentative installation date for about 6 weeks later. We had all the doors , all the drawers, and all the roll-out inserts replaced. The ones that came with the home were apparently low-end pressboard and some of them had started to separate. The doors were laminated and the laminate was separating. Some of the drawers had started to come apart and couldn't be fixed because the pressboard just disintegrated. Bernie came out about 3 weeks later and did the detailed drawings and accurate measurements. He carefully double-checked everything with me. Due to snow and ice storms, they missed the starting date by one day but still finished within the promised time (they had promised four days but were able to finish in three days). Edgar showed up the first day, did all the demolition and started some of the installation. He was very nice and worked very hard. Ken came along with Edgar the second and third days. Between them they got it all done in three days. They were both great people to work with.

The installation went very smoothly with excellent communication from the company as to when the work would be done and what time the workers would arrive. All materials were delivered on time and there were no errors in the order. The installer was Ken O'Dell who has 25 years of experience doing this work and is meticulous in every detail of the job. He was training another worker who also had an outstanding work ethic. You could see they took pride in their craftmanship and the results were beautiful! They were pleasant to deal with and Ken patiently explained everything when I had questions. Everything was cleaned up before they left at the end of the project which took 3 and a half days.

A worker showed up 10:00 am. and 3 others joined him. Asked when I should have microwave delivered-went to Lowes to purchase to be delivered same day. Installer noted they could hook up stove as well, I went back to Lowes and got stove. Hussam showed up Wednesday to complete the job. was very meticulous and thorough; lazy susan put in; Thursday night I received a call and email re: payment-additional "start" payment of $2900. sounding as if work would not be completed, "I need to talk to you" tone. left check and Friday the work was done; by Monday another demand for payment as completed. The installers were great; the customer service of the company-not so much and the cherry is dark; very little wood grain is visible. $9,523; 4 days and several persons later Done.

Al, the Kitchen Saver salesperson, came in very close to our budget. Bernie, the measurer extraordinaire, noticed a code violation and suggested a solution that has really enhanced the completed kitchen. We ended up installing an over the cooktop microwave which eliminated the need for a microwave taking up countertop space and additional cabinets on an opposite wall. Tim, the carpenter, is an artisan. Our new cabinets and countertop are beautiful. The finished project exceeds our expectations in every way. And on a personal note, we had a medical emergency in the week before the project began. I really appreciate Tim's kindness and professionalism throughout the project. It was nice to know I could leave the kitchen in his hands and concentrate on something much more important. Happily we had a good outcome on that as well.

Very well. Was completed on time although it could have been completed earlier if the installer had worked full days.

Very well. Hector and Ken were excellent. I was pleased with the caliber of the work. It only took 3 1/2 days. My wife thought the price was representative although I thought it was high. Of course I wonder about how the laminate, the crucial part of the re-surfacing, will hold up - but we were given a 10 yr. warranty so this tells me they are confident in the quality of both their product and workmanship.

The installer, Simon Laurenco was fantastic. Very professional, hard working, focused and cared that I was 100% satisfied when he was completed. Simon was great communicating each stage of the process, He kept the entire area clean and could not have asked for anything more. In fact I was pleased with every person that I had contact with my contract with Kitchen Saver.
