Kitchen Saver

I have to say that this was one of the best remodeling experiences that I have ever had. That is quite something when you consider that I have been in my home for over 40 years and have had quite a bit of remodeling work done. From the first contact with the company to the completion of the project the service has been superior. The technician who actually replaced the cabinets was Phil Miller. He was such a professional. He worked in such a way that he first demonstrated respect for my home and for me. He was extremely neat, expedient and knew what he was doing. He was friendly but not obtrusive. Kitchen Savers: Adam and Hassan were incredible: beautiful, meticulous wiremen and they were kind, courteous, and expert in their craft through out the process. Hassan cleaned up every evening so that I could use my kitchen at night. The refacing exceeded my expectations in every possible way, especially given the size and complexity of my kitchen. The result is breathtaking —- Kitchen Savers and Hassan Hassan are stupendous contractors and craftspeople.

We are very happy with the new kitchen that Kitchen Saver created for us. From our first in-home consultation to completion, the work was done very professionally and on-schedule. Our installer, Sean Bryan, was terrific. He arrived on time each day, listened and responded to our concerns and requests, worked expertly and non-stop, and was very friendly -- even to our dog. Our Project Manager, John, was also excellent. The result is a custom kitchen that was reasonably priced and looks fantastic!

From start to finish, request-for-consultation to completed project, KitchenSaver®’s performance was outstanding. We are delighted with the total experience and the result! Our pre-installation consultation with Adam Taylor was informative and engaging. He helped us choose a perfect solution for our needs, décor, and space. Adam was right on time, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the product and process, and passionate about the company, its employees, and its suppliers—with good reason! Our installer, Dave Duxon, was dedicated to our project from beginning to end. Dave is a superb craftsman. His work was not only flawless, but also remarkably quiet and clean: Floor and countertops were spotless at the end of each work day, and he placed his equipment and materials carefully out of the way so we could easily access the usable portions of our kitchen. The materials KitchenSaver® used are both attractive and robust. The cabinet surfaces are easy to clean, and we love our soft-close hinges: No more doors banging closed—much easier on the ears, nerves, and the cabinets themselves! Our new cabinets are perfect. Our kitchen looks brand-new, and we couldn’t be happier. We highly recommend KitchenSaver®!

This is our second go with Kitchen Saver. We used their services in our vacation condo five years ago and obviously were happy with them, so we called them again to do the kitchen in our primary home. We first met with Al Brauer, the sales consultant (who we had worked with five year earlier - continuity is important), in early January. We were able to make choices from a wide variety of looks and although we thought we knew what we wanted, in fact we decided on something different. Al was helpful in showing us what could and couldn't be done. Two weeks later Bernie came for the exact measurements, and on February 11 Jae Kim arrived to start the job. The refacing itself took about 6 days, and included the removal of cabinets over a kitchen peninsula and the construction of a new cabinet above the range to accommodate a larger microwave. We had all the doors made to soft-close, and new drawers made the same, and two cabinets were fitted with pullout drawers. We also had a wet bar in the family room redone with a new wine rack installed. Without exception, everyone we worked with at Kitchen Saver was professional and friendly and certainly knew what they were doing.

The sales rep had a large number of samples, showing styles and colors, and pointed me to the website of the door manufacturer, so I could see even more. He also had samples of the hardware (handles, knobs) from which to choose, and they were wonderful. The estimater came and measured everything, and made a couple of suggestions to improve the overall look. The installer came on time, put plastic up across all access points to the kitchen, to keep the dust contained, and completed the entire project in four days. He cleaned up after each day, and did a final cleanup when done. And the final result is stone cold gorgeous!

Mike Lilli, our contractor, was a perfectionist. He was professional, timely, and knowledgeable. Mike is a true craftsman, and he is committed to his job. He is a very experienced installer. We couldn't have been luckier to work with him. Kudos also go to the Kitchen Savers office staff - Carol who kept us in the loop with every appointment and John - who checked in regularly to make sure we were pleased with the final product. We are only sorry that we put off refacing our kitchen cabinets. I would hire this company again and would recommend their services to others.

The installer Hassan Elboughdady did an excellent job installing my reface cabinets. He was very neat in all respects. I was overwheln when he finish making my kitchen look new in a 33 year old kitcken. He was on time all four days and presented himself in a professional manner. We decided to reface our kitchen cabinets and decided on Kitchen Savers to perform the work. We are amazed out how well everything looks. Simon did an excellent job, he arrived on time, resolved any issues that came up quickly and cleaned up at the end of each day. He took care of the minor details as if he was working on his own kitchen, a true professional.

I went very well. The 1 technician, Dave, was very polite, neat and clean. We got exactly what we expected.

The initial estimate was within my budget and good suggestions were made. The work was performed according to schedule and Sean Bryan did an excellent job. I am very pleased with the look of my kitchen. Everyone I dealt with at Kitchen Saver was very efficient and pleasant.

The team including sales person/consultant, installers/technicians, and supervisors were professional, respectful and polite. A "glitch" in installation was handled professionally and timely. Technicians were skilled and competent.

Wonderful job! They replaced my 21 year old cabinets with natural cherry cabinets and they are beautiful. They managed the entire project, having plumber come to install new gas range and dishwasher, disposal, sink. Worked with RockTops Fabricators to install new granite countertops and they are so beautiful. The finished kitchen is better than anything I dreamed of. I am very happy with the product and the people who worked on my kitchen from their salesman to their installer Sean. Wonderful and responsive company.

Their craftsman, Tim Mitchell, did a fantastic and careful job. His work in my kitchen was very respectful of my space and comfort; in addition to the very meticulous work on my cabinetry , he made every effort to clean up after himself and store his equipment so nothing was required of me at the end of my day once he'd departed. He kept a prompt schedule, and finished everything in a very satisfying time frame. I am most pleased with the quality of his work, and greatly appreciate Kitchen Saver for hiring and keeping such a reliable and conscientious craftsman/carpenter. I have already passed along your contact to a client of mine seeking good work.

I had a wonderful experience with Kitchen Saver, the team was professional and Hector was at the house every day on time and did great job installing the cabinets. Thanks to John, Hector and Carol for their time and attention.

KitchenSaver helped us come up with a creative solution to refinish cabinets below the granite countertop, which we wanted to keep, while adding all new, improved cabinets in a redesigned configuration for the upper cabinets. The job moved smoothly from start to finish at a price slightly less than what we had expected to pay. The job was complete before Thanksgiving by Dave Duxon, whereas other companies we had contacted said they would not be able to get to it before next year. We couldn't be happier.

We have been very pleased in our experience with Kitchen Saver. Craig Newton did a super job. He was punctual, professional and friendly. The office staff has been great in setting up appointments and our contacts with all employees from sales rep to repairman have been very positive.

We didn't get to a contract. I'm writing this because Adam T. from Kitchen Saver during an exceptionally aggressive pitch visit to our house said that the reviews on Angie's List speak for themselves. We thought the objective of his visit was to get ideas what we could have done to our kitchen. We thought it would take an hour. He arrived at 6:15 pm, I politely ejected him from home at 8:45pm. He initially said he couldn't provide a ballpark estimate, implying no real numbers would be discussed. 2 hours later he was asking me to write a check, with the incentive/pressure being if written immediately we would save $2K. Kitchen Saver may do good work, but most likely not for us. The notion that we would go from thinking to committing in 2 hours, picking finishes, fixtures, colors etc. just seems absurd. I called the company and complained. I'm writing this because Adam shoved Angie's List testimonials in my face. This is my Kitchen Saver Angie's List testimonial.

We would re-hire and recommend Kitchen Savers to anyone. Like any project that isn't new construction, we discovered a few speed-bumps in our project. Our main goal was to remove a wall between the kitchen and family room, and to then reface our dark cabinets from almost black to white. The wall ended up being a load bearing wall, which added a level of complexity. I'm sure it would have felt 100 times more complex if it weren't for this Kitchen Savers team. John Riegert is the penultimate professional who knows his stuff and managed so many moving parts on our behalf. I don't think we could have completed this project without him. Mike Lilli did a great job with our cabinets, and Rick who finalized the last few touches was also very professional. Kitchen Savers also built a cabinet for us, which meets our needs perfectly. If you are looking for a kitchen facelift or are considering something a little more extensive, you should absolutely call them for a consultation. It was one of the best calls we made.
