With over 25 years in the field, I know that my customer's main interest is quality work within a fair and honest price. My main goal is to meet those needs, and to work with you in achieving the custom look you desire. My name is at stake, and I take every job seriously until the last nail or brick is set. With this as my goal, my hope is that you will be very pleased with the end result.
Great! Can't say enough about Keith's professionalism and quality of work. Communication with Keith was easy - he was always responsive and timely. The project went as scheduled and his team performed satisfactory clean up. He was able to repair the wall and match old and new brick and mortar wonderfully. We had decided in the last minute to add the firebox and Keith was able to take our sketch and deliver the end result we had envisioned. At our request Keith came back a few months after the brick wall was complete to help us hang the TV and install some flower boxes on the exterior windows. Again, Keith was great - timely, beyond helpful and did great work. Since purchasing our "new" old home we've dealt with many contractors and can easily say Keith's professionalism and quality of work far exceeds other contractor experiences. I would recommend Keith without hesitation!
Description of Work: I purchased an 1800s row home and discovered once removing a built-in entertainment center that the exposed brick wall in the living room was in terrible shape - crumbling bricks, exposed wires and a large section with no bricks at all. We wanted to repair the interior exposed brick wall using the same bricks as the rest of the house. Keith found the perfect match on the bricks (not an easy task as the bricks are 200+ years old). We also had Keith build a "faux" firebox to give the look of an old fireplace. He also completed the electrical work needed so that we could hang the TV without any exposed cords.

Description of Work: They put a concrete porch on a row home with beautiful brick pillars and low wall/rail around it. They also repaired my concrete sidewalk and put up siding on my roof and replaced my downspout. They were excellent and I would wholeheartedly recommend them.

6.20.12 I hired Custom Contractors Unlimited to replace a concrete porch on a row home (which joins another porch), repair/replace stucco, build a brick wall/rail height and a brick post to support the porch roof, haul away a trellis and all concrete debris. 6.20.12 The owner, Keith Mallonee showed up on time for the estimate. He returned my phone call in a timely manner. Keith was polite, professional, listened and answered all of my questions and fully explained what needed to be done. He mailed the contract in a timely manner when he said he would. 7.15.12 I requested the liability insurance information and he emailed me that information. Custom Contractors is licensed and insured, which was important to me. 8.16.12 Keith visited several brick suppliers before the job started, so I could choose the best match for the brick work and set up a time when we could meet to decide. I wanted the brick to match the neighbor's as much as possible, and it does. Work began exactly as planned and took 5 days to complete, as stated. The concrete, and brickwork was absolutely perfect. Keith and his crew did exactly what I wanted and considered all of my concerns. Keith even stalled on taking the trellis away because he knew my father had made it and I might change my mind. I was afraid to hire a contractor, but these gentlemen are very professional and skilled. They cleaned up each night, leaving the work site neat and clean. When the job was complete, they even leveled the soil near the sidewalk and put down some new soil and grass seed, where needed. I could not be happier with my new maintenance free front porch! If you need someone for concrete or brick-work of any magnitude, Keith Mallonee and his crew of Custom Contractors are great! I highly recommend them.

This Contractor braved bad weather to ensure I received a timely delivery in order to meet my tight timeframe. He designed a mailbox from a picture and built it from the ground up. He was professional and responsive. He was very direct about his approach and price. He followed through on every commitment without fail. He went out of his way to ensure the job was done right and did not subcontract as he was at the job site 100% of the time. He is a model of how contractors should treat a customer. While he wasn't cheap, the value of his effort was well recognized. Most importantly, my wife was happy with his workmanship.

I was a little disappointed that it took three weeks to get the quote. He apologized for that and I think he'll be able to do the work that I need done.

The first concrete step leading to my front door had settled into the ground about 6 inches over time creating a very large second step that people were tripping over. I now have 3 normal sized steps leading to my front door. The estimate they quoted was inline with others I had gotten. All the work was done in one working day. I dealt directly with the owner who was straight-forward and professional.
Description of Work: The job was to break up and remove old concrete step and replace with two smaller steps.
