I trust this business to provide competent and safe service.

We called Brody after seeing their trucks around the neighborhood. They were able to set us up on an appointment and come out promptly. They determined what the issues were and suggested, but did not pressure, that we start a program with them. They explained how it worked and I decided to sign up for the year. We had some millipedes appear in between appointments and they scheduled us as soon as they could, actually moving it up a few days when I explained that we were having company and needed them to be able to use certain areas. They are higher priced than a big national -ix company but their value is apparent. I highly recommend this company.

The nest was treated and within 2 days the bees were gone. This is a professional company and they are very knowledgeable. I use them and I would recommend to anyone.

This is the second year that I have employed Brody Brothers to take care of an ant problem. They responded promptly, explained the service, analyzed the problem, and the ants were gone with the first application. The ant problem in my house was very bad last year so this year I called at the first sighting. Both years the service was prompt, professional, and successful! I will definitely call them again and would recommend them.

I am very pleased with the service Brody Brothers provided me. I had a yellow jacket nest behind the vinyl siding of my home. It was impossible to spray there, and sealing it with caulk did not work either (too many other openings and cracks nearby). I found them on Angie's list, and had a coupon, so figured why not give it a shot. Their wasp/yellow jacket/hornet service comes with not only removal/killing of the wasps, but also a visual inspection around the home. There is also a 60 day "warranty" that they honor in case the wasps come back during that period. In my case, i needed two treatments to rid of the problem. Getting them to come back was no hassle at all, and i think the wasps are finally gone. I will be contacting Brody Brothers in the future if this happens again.

This was an Angie List offer that the company ran. There was some difficulty on the initial call to set up the appointment (put on hold for 10 minutes, had to hang up and call back) but that was the only glitch. They came later that day and removed the nest. They both called my cell and left a door hanger after completing the job to let me know everything was taken care of and no other pest issues were noted on the grounds.

We were having a problem with yellow jackets at our kitchen door. The yellow jackets were going in and out in an area between the stoop and plank at the foot of the entry way. They had begun nesting there. I tried eradicating them myself by using bee forming spray but that didn't work. Instead of spending a lot of money buying different products I decided to just call a professional. I contacted Brody Brothers, using their coupon for $195 pest control. The technician, Brad, called before arriving; arrived exactly when he said he would. My sister was home when he arrived and she explained the problem we had. When I got home, he was in the process of removing the bees nest and applying spray. He also checked all around the outside of the house and applied spray. Brad was very pleasant to work with. He said we should avoid the area for four hours because the bees would be rather angry. He mentioned if the bees are not gone or returned within four days to contact them and they would be back out. Its been a week and no bees. If we have any other pest problems in the future, I will definitely contact Brody Brothers.

Since I have used Brody Brothers previously (for a mice problem) with success I was expecting good results, The next day there were a number of dead roaches on the back walkway and a few dead in kitchen and basement. Almost 3 weeks later there appears to be a successful treatment of the problem and I am happy to wholeheartedly recommend Brody Brothers staff and methods.

They were great to work with. It was easy to set up a time for them to come out. They gave us an honest assessment of our problem and went to work with the treatment. A few days later I saw the remains of the dead carpenter bees. Fantastic job!

Provider noted old termite damage and said it had to be treated. Wanted over $1000 to do that. However, he tried to make it like there were current termites when there were not and tried to document that so we would have to get treatment. We just had a different exterminator come out to look at the house because we are looking to move, and he found the treatment holes for the previous damage that must have been done by the previous owner. He told us that an exterminator is supposed to look for these things, and clearly, Brody did not and wanted to charge for something we didn't need. This is why I am leaving this review two years later. I feel taken by them.

I feel they were not very professional and did not follow up with us well, as stated above they actually left the traps after their last visit and have not contacted us since to follow up on the results of their work.

It was fantastic. We actually had an issue that required follow-up, and due to the contract, there was no additional charge for those visits. I'm very happy with them!

It was unbelievable. Another company couldn't get all the mice. They were on top of everything until there were no mice. They sealed places. They were excellent. They gave us a lot of tips and ideas. They knew what they were doing.

I am completing this several months after the fact so fuzzy on details as to dates and costs, though I recall that cost was reasonable. We began seeing carpenter ants in the spring of 2014 (it is now December). We had engaged Brody once before when we thought we had honeybees nesting in our chimney, and were impressed with their promptness and professionalism, especially since we were not charged for the consult (the honeybees were not nesting, and disappeared soon after, as we were told would happen). In this case Brody sent someone very promptly to look into our carpenter ant situation. The first young man treated indoors along baseboards and around the outside of the house. He didn't find any nests, but said the treatment would take care of the problem. However it didn't really do the job. I called again and a different service person came. This man spent more time both inspecting the house and talking to us about carpenter ants, their habits and how best to exterminate them. He indicated that the first young man was new to the company and not as experienced as he, though he was careful not to speak negatively of him. This treatment worked and the ants have not reappeared. We were not charged for the second visit, even though more chemicals were used. We also received a follow-up phone call a few weeks later to determine if the problem had been solved. I especially appreciate the company's sensitivity to environmental concerns and their policy of treating insect problems, not eradicating all insects. They use the least toxic and most selective methods first.

HIRE THIS COMPANY-YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED! Levi first came out to my house back in December 2013 (see my previous review from March 2014) to check on my problem with mice in the walls and attic. I had already been through 5 pest control companies and spent over $1,500.00 over a 4-year period of time. To say I am skeptical is an understatement. Levi was patient, knowledgeable, punctual and did not charge me a penny for his over 1 hour inspection. I did not hire the company but was definitely impressed. A year later I have the same problem with mice and decided it was time to call BB. Bradley came out a couple of days later on a Sunday (a Sunday!) and was prompt, courteous and already ahead of the game having reviewed Levi's notes from a year ago. This guy worked a long time in my attic removing old bait and traps and thoroughly explored my very tough to explore attic. He had to find and remove the over 50 pieces of anti-coagulant that a previous company chucked into my attic -- Levi informed me that these pieces would later attract insects and I would have a second issue to resolve. Bradley also plugged up multiple possible entrances into the home and set new bait and traps in the attic. He will return in 2 weeks time to see what's in the traps and remove them. It's been almost a week and I have not heard one noise in the walls or attic. You cannot believe how disturbing this can be until you hear it when you're trying to sleep. These critters have set up shop in my home for the past 4 winters and have created tunnels in the insulation all over my attic. It's amazing how loud they are in the middle of the night. A good night's sleep was worth the expense. I am keeping my fingers crossed that this issue is finally resolved and for the first time in 4 years am optimistic that my money was well spent. It took a long time and a lot of money but I think I have finally found the right company to work with for this and any future pest issues.

The representative was punctual and professional. We were concerned about having a termite problem. He was very thorough on his explanation and explained to us this was not the issue. He told us right away we didn't need to treat the house for termites and showed us pictures and compared it to the pest we found, which turned out to be GRUBS. Either way he offered to do a quick inspection of the basement and attic, which confirmed his NEGATIVE diagnostic for termites. He was very honest and said there's nothing he has to do and didn't need nor try to offer any other service since our house was in good shape. We really appreciated his honesty. Overall, he took about 30 minutes for the inspection. We were not charged for this at all.

This was the second time that I have called the Brody brothers for service. This was a company that we continued as recommended by the previous owners. I decided to buy their year service since we live in the country and I wasn't sure how bad the bugs would get. The first time they were courteous and knowledgable. Far far far superior to other companies (I have used 2 others in the area.) They did not argue with my requests for bug removal even if the pests were not going to do any harm. They informed me of any possible sources of critters and took measures for prevention keeping in mind that I have two small kids. The year package allows you to call 3 times a month for whatever reason which I thought was a little much, but again, I wanted to be sure in my new house. The second call was made because a bird flew into my house and I couldn't figure out how to get it out. Brody brothers came within 2 hours of my call to take the bird out. Even though it was an emergency visit - Jonathan stayed and did a routine maintenance all while entertaining my 2 boys and pointing out all the bugs they saw, holding them, so they could inspect and explaining what they were to the boys. He pointed out new areas which I could close up to keep out the mice and also how to keep bugs out of the basement. He was never rushed, was so friendly and seemed to really enjoy his job. The most amazing part was that he actually reminded me of my 3 calls/month and encouraged me to use it more often, even if it's for a sweep of traps, and inspection of area. Brody brothers may lean towards the expensive side, but it was made crystal clear why everyone in my neighborhood uses them.

Tony inspected the areas of concern and identified the problem... carpenter bees and wasp nests. He treated the problem areas, conducted a thorough inspection all around the house and explained things to look for in the future. Tony was very knowledgeable and polite and answered all of my questions.. I would definitely use Brody's again. (note- price was after the $30 coupon on Angie's list)

We are using Brody Brothers and the last treatment that we have had with them was either within this month or last month. They seem effective and timely. The employees seem to know what they are doing and they are nice. We will continue to use them as long as we think that we have problems and they will prevent them from recurring.

Had a terrible problem with ants.Most of the ants were taken care of the first visit. The second visit he found a place in the basement that the ants were coming in. I have a contract for one year that covers any problems.They will be back every three months unless I have a problem.Very good service from my phone call to both visits.Well pleased.
