The following are the technician notes for work we performed on a $79.00 seasonal tune up: performed annual maintenance on AC system. air filter was in good condition and customer changes regularly. Clean and disinfected indoor coil. Clear and tested drain trap. Added water treatment tablets to drain pan. Checked thermostat operation, temperature splits, refrigerant charge, safety controls, high and low voltage electrical connections, capacitors, wiring harnesses, and electrical components. Amp check compressor, indoor blower motor, and outdoor fan motor. Start and check system operation. Found system slightly low on R-410A refrigerant. Quoted customer $103.00 for first pound. Charged system with 1lb and got required 14 degree sub cooling per manufacture specs. System is functioning properly at this time. We will follow up with this client to see what else we could have done to make the Price, Quality, Responsiveness, Professionalism and overall rating an "A" rather than "B". - Alan, Owner

Very reliable: showed up when they said and got the job done. Reasonably clean: there was still a lot of dust we had to deal with but it was a big project. The system appears to be performing as advertised. They encountered several issues in the installation of the ducting that they addressed in a satisfactory manner.
Description of Work: Replaced existing central air system on second and third floors of our home. Existing system was inadequate and had been affected by recent construction. Replaced air handler and all duct work.

Alan, the owner, was on time for the free estimate, gave the boiler and controls a good look over, made some adjustments to help cure a problem we were having and answered all of my many questions. He then went through the house, measuring the baseboard radiators and gave advice on maintaining the system (and answered more questions-I was schooled in HVAC 20 years ago and I work in the home-service trades, so I'm not the easiest customer to deal with). Within two days, the secretary called me to schedule a second visit from Alan, so that he could drop off the proposal. Since I had a limited budget, Alan gave me some options that would reduce my cost. A good crew showed up (thanks guys), worked late to overcome some unforeseen problems, and cleaned up well. Three months later, when a component failed, they honored the warranty in a timely fashion. Alan and his staff seem committed to building their business by being a good business to deal with.

WE FOUND THIS COMPANY TO BE PROFESSIONAL AND VERY HELPFUL. IN ADDITION TO DETERMINING PROBLEM WAS GROUNDED COMPRESSOR, ACTED AS LIAISON WITH WARRANTY COMPANY AND PROVIDED HONEST ADVICE ON ADVANTAGE OF CONVERTING TO GAS VS. MAINTAINING/REPLACING 15 YEAR OLD ELECTRIC HEAT PUMP.
Description of Work: AIR SOLUTIONS WAS SENT BY OUR HOME WARRANTY SERVICE TO INSPECT OUR AIR CONDITIONING/HEATING UNIT THAT HAD STOPPED WORKING. PROVIDED PRICE ON REPAIR THAT WOULD BE PAID THROUGH HOME WARRANTY SERVICE. ALSO PROVIDED ADVICE ON POTENTIALLY DOING GAS CONVERSION.
