Everything went fine. The cost in addition to the coupon was a little pricy. Everything turned alright in the end.

There was water coming out of the top of the hot water heater and it was all over the basement floor. I could see it was coming from where the copper pipes connect. At first, I was hoping only the pipes had to be replaced, but unfortunately, we needed a new hot water heater. I felt very confident that they were being honest with me because our serviceman, Mike, showed me where the heater had rusted out and was no longer making a seal. Since it was coming out of both pipes, it was soon obvious to me that both pipes wouldn't go at the same time and indeed, up close, I could see that the rust was not the pipes, but the water heater. It was 17 years old, so it served us well. Mike came around 11:30 am and once he diagnosed the problem, he asked if I would like it done that same day. I was thrilled that he could and within 2 additional hours (he worked alone), everything was fixed and cleaned up. All in all, a very pleasant experience. We also got to use one of the coupons they offer and it saved us $81.

It was a good experience. We couldn't actually use their service after the diagnosis. They were better than other people that we had. They found that we had a freon leak.

Our overall experience was bad because our air conditioner had to be cleaned and freon filled by another company to get it in complete working order. Air Plumbing and Heating could not do it even though I paid them more money.

Our newly purchased home was not cooling properly; not knowing the detailed history of the HVAC equipment, we purchased an A/C diagnosis coupon offered by the company to Angie's List customers. The staff/scheduler was able to give us an appointment two business days later, which was responsive given that we weren't requesting emergency service and the weather was very mild so it was easy to go without A/C. Carl was the technician who performed the service call, and he was great- friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. He wore paper "booties" during all interior parts of the visit, which we appreciated as we had just had the floors professionally cleaned. He thoroughly inspected the unit inside as well as the compressor outside. When the faulty part was identified in the compressor unit outside, Carl still completed the remaining parts of the diagnostic visit and did not just take the quick & easy route. In the course of the inspection he was able to identify some repairs that had made to the system along the way, which will be useful for us as we just recently took ownership of the house and had only basic details about most of the HVAC components. After Carl left I actually called the company and spoke to the service manager to compliment his performance-- she was appreciative but also noted that she was not surprised as she routinely receives great feedback about Carl. The gracious but matter-of-fact way she fielded my call leads me to believe that calls from happy customers are not out of the norm. Given the age of our HVAC system a replacement is probably in the cards in the next few years-- I will definitely invite this company to bid and will expect a competitive offer based on the great value of this service call. Likewise, I will know that they have a proven track record with my house and this small, (thankfully) inexpensive repair.

The associate called when he was on his way out to my house, giving me an hour lead time, which I completely appreciated. When he checked the a/c unit inside and also outside, he explained thoroughly what he was doing and what problems he found. He even recommended a great comprehensive package should we decide to work with the company again. I'm actually going to call them today for plumbing work needed on my house. I highly recommend Air Plumbing & Heating Solutions.

Good; still in process of waiting for part to fix system

They were very professional and knew what they were doing. I appreciated that they kept me informed as to what they were doing. They were on time and professional.

It went well. I was unable to be there the day they came so they dealt with my daugher and me by phone. They seemed very professional and my daughter had no complaints.

I am 100% pleased with the work performed. They removed the existing old monster of a boiler without any damage to the floors or walls. Then they brought in the new one and hooked everything up including a brand new set of controls. They really cleaned up the existing collection of random switches. They also made use of existing usable piping instead of just telling me that everything needs to be replaced. They worked hard all day in spite of several chaotic moments including a power outage that lasted a couple hours. All in all the crew was extremely pleasant and hard working. About a week later Alan came by to inspect the work and didn't like how they arranged the piping. He sent a guy out a little while later to fix it free of charge. I interviewed quite a few people before choosing A P & H. They weren't the lowest offer but they gave me that "warm and fuzzy". I am very happy with my choice.

Very well! The technician was very professional and helpful and gave me good advice for future updates. He was also very thorough and didn't press me to purchase additional services.

I purchased a $58 diagnostic coupon from Angie's List. I called first thing in the morning at 7:30am and Chris was at my house by 11:30am the same day! He was VERY nice and courteous. He wore shoe covers which I really appreciated (all employees did throughout their services!). He got right to work and found out the problem right away. He explained things to me as he went and answered all of my questions.He hosed off our air filter which was very nice because he could have just told us we needed to buy a new one or that we needed to clean it. Chris also found out that our compressor was shot. So, Jeff came out to do a final assessment/estimate. He analyzed our entire AC system and decided which system and parts we needed and some improvements that could be made to the inside system to prevent the same thing from happening again. It was supposed to take 3-5 days to get the new system in, however the supplier shipped a dented/damaged unit. Air, Plumbing and Heating did not accept the unit (shows they have high standards for the work they complete and products they offer!) and they told Jeff it would take 2 weeks to get another unit in. Jeff told them that wasn't acceptable and he chose to give us another unit (that is better!) for no additional cost so that they could replace our unit asap! That is wonderful customer service!I will recommend Air, Plumbing and Heating to everyone:) Thanks so much! Danielle

My AC stopped working and they sent Carl for repair. However when he arrived the air conditioner worked fine! He ran a thorough check on the system trying to diagnose the problem but found nothing wrong. He suspected a faulty thermostat but did not want to charge me for something I might not need. Twenty minutes after he left the AC shut off again. I immediately called back and Carl was able to return. Even though it was at the end of his day he spent almost an hour trying to find the problem. But again, the AC worked fine while he was there. I can't speak highly enough about Carl, he was great. He cleaned the thermostat because again he thought it was the problem. He could easily have charged me for a new thermostat, but didn't want to since he wasn't positive. Ever since he was there the system has worked fine.My AC is 30 years old and I'm planning to replace it soon, and I plan to use this company, have already gotten an estimate from them.

They did a very professional and through job, outstanding service!

Once I bought and paid for an A/C tuneup on July 18, I contacted them and setup my appointment. The appointment was set for July 26, the arrival time between 8:00 and noon. The technician arrived at 9:25am introduced himself and began working. There wasn't any waisted time in beginning work. Finished between 10:30am and 11:00am. The overall experience was fine. I definiitely will be using there service again.

Did most of the job in a full day of work. Workers were professional. Hit some snags during and after the install but were responsive to any issues I raised and corrected them accordingly. They filled out and submitted all the rebate paperwork which was convenient. So far the new system is working great.

Air Solutions is a pleasure to work with. I had a leaking water main, in my front yard at the water meter. The city (I live in Balto. County) had already replaced the water meter from an earlier leak. Air Solutions came out to survey and then sent a detailed description, along with the final cost. I had to remove some trees first so, they waited until that part was done. They showed up on time along with Miss Utility and the backhoe excavator. They replaced the main line with copper and had to disconnect the old pipe, from under the concrete floor and re-route a new line over the drop ceiling through the front wall. They were finished by late afternoon and the water pressure is so much better now.

I have employed AIR SOLUTIONS LLC for many years now to maintain the furnace and air conditioners in all of my rental properties. I pay for annual service/maintenance plans for all the rental properties. The people working at AIR SOLUTIONS LLC have always been very friendly and professional in my experience with them. They do what they say and say what they do. They also are very accommodating to my tenants. On this latest occasion, the AC would not turn on in a rental property and so I called AIR SOLUTIONS LLC and asked them to make an appointment with my tenant to come inspect the house. The problem was that the thermostat was no longer properly functioning. The repair was made the same day and there have been no problems since the repair (ie. the repair occurred in late May, 2012). The tenant is happy and so I am happy. I use this company for all my AC and furnace needs. Over the years they have replaced a furnace and an AC in my rental properties and have always done a great job.

Had had some guests over on the 4th and my a/c couldn't keep up. Hadn't had it serviced since moving in so seemed like a good opportunity. Called on the 5th, they were able to give me an appointment on the 6th. Charlie showed up on time, walked me through the strengths and weaknesses of my setup, ran me through some options for future efficiencies (some of which their company provided, some of which they didn't) and topped up the coolant level. My system's still not incredibly well designed for my house so no miracles, but I can make things cool rather than "not extraordinarily hot" and it makes a world of difference. Possibly the best money I've spent this year.

I called and got return call within minutes. Charlie was here within the hour. He found and solved the problem in a little over two hours - defrosting involved. He was congenial, professional and effective. A++

We purchased a voucher for $58 for the diagnostics because our AC wasn't working very well.They arrived on time, took a quick look and provided a rough estimate of $250 for refridgerant and cleaning. Then it turned out we only needed cleaning, which was $125. Always nice to have a conservative estimate and come in under it! The AC works much better now.

My Condo a/c unit was not cooling. Mechanic Charlie came for the call. He was knowledgeable and friendly. He isolated the problem very well.The problem was caused by a dirty air filter and frozen coils. He performed the required servicing and the cooling came back again.

They were very professional and did an excellent job. I have to stay on their maintenance agreement plan though. The pricing was good and the clean up was great. They did a little extra and went beyond the call of duty. Alan was exceptional and the workman were great to work with as well.

I contacted Air, Plumbing, and Heating Solutions based on their Angie's List rating. They were also running a special on servicing furnaces and AC for $79. The technician happened to be in my area when I called, so he was at my door literally 10 minutes after I called the office! Talk about service! Charlie was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. He serviced both the furnace and the AC. The furnace was not staying lit so he recommended replacing the flame sensor. He estimated the cost. Charlie told me he would tell the office and they would contact me to schedule another appointment. A day or so later the office called and again, the woman was very friendly, pleasant and professional. She quoted a price to replace the sensor and asked if I would like to schedule an appointment. I did and the following week Carl came to fix the sensor. Carl was also very knowledgeable and friendly. He came in, replaced the sensor, tested the furnace in a very timely manner. He was very efficient and obviously is an expert in his field. The office called to remind me of my appointment as well as called to let me know the tech was on their way. I would highly recommend this company and will use them in the future.

I haven’t had any problems with them; they’re a good company to work with.
