The arrived as scheduled at 8am to begin the job. it required them to remove the old air handler from the attic crawl space and also the external ac unit. The original system was added to the house after it was built, so flexible air ducts were used to connect to the different floors to provide the cooling. Once they installed the new air handler, the took the time to make new connections to the flexible ducts to avoid leaking and provide better air flow. They also replaced the copper tubing from the outdoor unit to the air handler. It was a full days worth of work to get everything connected properly. We have been very pleased - both with the professionalism during the install as well as the follow-up to make sure everything was working properly. They also took care of all of the paperwork so that we could get the BGE rebate as well as the 12 months same as cash financing. They did a great job.

I would give the provider's a A grade for his performance. He was very knowledgeable and courteous. His work was efficient and professional. I would definitely consider this provider for any future services.

It was very normal. They were on time, and called shortly after I had bought the Groupon Special to make an appointment. The appointment was quickly scheduled and they were on time and efficient. They replaced a relay switch, which may or may not have really needed replacement. It was pretty expensive, but a check online confirmed that those switches can be expensive.

The service was excellent. The technician came in and completed the job in about an hour. He explained what the problem was and gave me a quote before he did anything. The price was fair. I will use this company again.

The technician checked over everything thoroughly. He found somehting on the outside unit that was causing the problem. I really appreciated his hoesty, because he could have easily said that we needed a brand new system, but he didnt't. I would hire them again if I needed to.

I purchased the Angie's Big Deal for a whole house plumbing inspection and water heater flush. What's great about these deals is that they allow the customer a chance to check out companies that they may want to use for the long term, without a great layout of money, and I'm in the market for a regular plumber. This company gets high marks for customer service and followup; the ladies in the office were great in accommodating my schedule and getting answers to my questions. But I was really disappointed in the quality of the work on-site. The water heater flush went okay; the water was dispensed into my sump pump, and the technician gave me a competitive quote on replacing the water heater, which I intend to do since it is 17 years old. The rest of the "inspection" was a disappointment, to put it mildly. A lot of discussion was placed on rebuilding toilets, which I don't really need at this time. There were no "dye tests to check for leaking toilets", no "sanitary drain system test", no "inspection of washing machine hoses" and only a cursory look at visible piping and valves. He did not pick up the obvious almost frozen faucets at the laundry room stationary tub, the grainy elbow under the hall bathroom sink or the hot water faucet handle that needs repair. In the master bath, a few days earlier, one of the handles had come off of a faucet. Since he was there, with his tools, and I knew that this was a minor job, I asked what he would charge to fix it. He quoted $165.00 and said that it looked like he would have to go under the sink to repair. I said I don't think so! Not to replace a screw. When he left, I headed back to Moen's website for guidance, borrowed an adjustable wrench and needle nose pliers from my neighbor, unscrewed the hub, pulled the cartridge, and reattached the fallen screw---15 minutes of work for a novice like me and I never had to do anything under the sink, except turn off the water. Needless to say, for an A-rated company, this was quite a disappointment.

I am a property manager who has used AIR PLUMBING & HEATING SOLUTIONS LLC exclusively for my rental homes for the past six years. I annually purchase a furnace/AC maintenance contract from this company for each rental property and have purchased several new furnaces and air conditioners from this company as well. The reason I continue to be a loyal customer to this company and recommend them to all of my colleagues and friends is because the company is run very professionally. I always feel that they value me as a customer and treat me in a very respectful and friendly manner. The work is always done properly and timely. The prices are very reasonable and they communicate very well. In this instance I purchased a new furnace and air conditioner for a newly purchased rental property. The work was completed on time and everything is working properly...the tenant is happy and therefore I am as well. I continue to recommend this company to all Angie's List members. At least call them for an estimate before hiring another HVAC company.

Our Air conditioner broke down in the middle of the hottest week of the year. This company was recommended by Angie's list and we called them. A personable and competent repair person came the same day! (though clearly they were already very busy- we explained we had an infant in the home). He was able to determine that the old system was not fixable and showed us why [compressor tubing had ruptured/exploded under very high pressure and all coolant leaked out]. He explained what options for repair were possible- from just trying to replace the compressor to installing a complete new furnace and A/C system. He said he wasn't one of the company "salesmen" and all these considerations and associated prices would be reviewed in detail with us by one of them. He went to some trouble to insure that someone would be by for that purpose either that evening or early the next morning. One of the company owners, Jeff, came by very early the next day. He was extremely patient and informative. We again reviewed various options and we elected to replace the entire furnace and A/C since the one we had was installed when the house was built in the 1950's. He made some suggestions for minor modifications in the air circulation system in the house to be done at the time of installation. He carefully assessed what size unit the house would require and showed us several units that would work from bare bones budget to high class with all the bells and whistles. A huge consideration for us was how long it would take for them to get to the job. Through a very unusual set of circumstances he was able to schedule the installation for the next day!!! Jeff and the installation crew came in early the next morning and managed to finish the job in one day. They also took care of a minor unrelated plumbing emergency that just happened to occur that morning. The modification in the air delivery system coupled with a new high efficiency system has resulted in our home being much more comfortable with the AC running a fraction of the time we were used to prior to the installation. We look forward to substantially reduced heating and air conditioning bills in the future, though Jeff was very careful not to make any unrealistic predictions about this. The office staff (Tammy), part owner (Jeff), repair guy (Bobby, and installers (Mike and John) all were responsive to our needs and very friendly and professional. We had been thinking about replacing our ancient furnace for quite some time but were dreading the expense. It ended up costing about half what we had expected and we know we have a reliable, high quality system that they are going to stand behind for the long haul. They also have been very helpful in arranging for us to get tax credits, rebates and BGE credit for the new system. We recommend this company without reservation.

From beginning to end the whole process was outstanding. I had purchased an older home and requested a service call to do a check of the system. The technician responded and meticulously checked the system and showed me the issues he found with the system. The system was 17 years old so I knew it likely had issues as it had not been serviced for many years. The technician indicated that it could be cleaned repeatedly and get some extra time before replacing the unit. I opted to have the system replaced to an energy efficient system. Within 10 days a new system was installed and one would not know that they were there hauling the old system out. The area was cleaned and cleared as it was prior to their arrival. The installers were professional, courteous, and friendly which we appreciated. There was a small miscommunication about a duct needing replacement at the same time; but after a simple phone call back to the office, the matter was resolved by Jeff within 48 hours. Again, we appreciated the communication and professionalism of everyone we interacted with. We have another project coming up involving plumbing. Since we had such a good experience with the HVAC project, we will be using them again for an upcoming plumbing and HVAC project.

It turned out very well. This is the first time I am using them. They were on time, they were very respectful of the house, they made sure they didn't track anything in the house and outside. They were very clean and cleaned up after themselves. I would use them again in the future.

They did a fine job. They were timely and everything was good. Their price for the quote was about a $1000 more than the quote that I ended up going with. The price for the diagnosis was reasonable. Their estimate was about $3700 and the company that did the work, their estimate was $2600.

I spent more than what the deal was for. I bought a water heater and it had an expansion tank and our expansion tank was leaking, so they had to replace the expansion tank.

I ended up needing a repair because my furnace was very old, but I was very happy with the service. I’ve used them before through my home warranty company and was happy with them at that time as well. The technician who came out was very professional, very knowledgeable, and very personable. Great customer service.

The technician identified defected part (contactor) in the unit and explained to me why it needs to be replaced. The technician took time to explain all parts of units which is really helpful for me as first time home owner. He was very professional and polite- very easy to work with. I definitely would use them again!

We collected several estimates for the job. Although Air Solutions was not the cheapest, they were the most thorough, responsive and professional. Alan and Jeff came out themselves to give the estimate and were both very impressive with their knowledge of various system configurations and their recommendations for what would work best for us. My husband and I both felt that they were the best in terms of quality of service, professionalism and knowledge. When we scheduled the work, Jeff arrived on the first day to introduce his workers, who were also professional, respectful, prompt and friendly. They figured out creative ways to install the ductwork without having to cut any access points into my walls, and were very thoughtful about the placement of the returns and vents. The office staff helped us qualify for 12 months same as cash financing as well as a BGE rebate. Overall, I am very very happy with the work. It's quite cool in my home! I'd not only recommend this company, I will definitely use them for every heating, cooling or plumbing need we have in the future.
