We originally purchased an Angie's List Deal that was $99 for $200 of work. Our first interaction with the office had us a bit concerned that we had made the wrong decision - I was told that there was a $59 fee for the estimate (which is not mentioned in the details about the deal) and when my husband called to discuss it with the office, he was told the fee could not be waived because deals could not be combined. Essentially, our $99 for $200 of work Deal was actually going to be $160 for $200 of work, not nearly the deal that we originally signed up for (which is why we rated the price a C). It was suggested that we could keep the Deal as is or cancel the purchase. I have to say that left a bad taste in our mouths BUT when the technician arrived, he more than made up for the experience we had had with the office. Mike was prompt, courteous, knowledgable and efficient. He gave us estimates on a few issues we were interested in having addressed, helped us narrow the choices down to what fit within our budget and then performed the work efficiently and expertly. Before he left, Mike helped us prioritize the remaining work we were interested in and form a plan for the next time we were doing maintenance or repairs. There was no pressure; he had established enough of a rapport that it wasn't necessary. In the end, we felt that the pricing for the work was fair; we'll call Air, Plumbing and Heating, LLC the next time we need to have some plumbing work done and we'll be sure to ask for Mike!

I appreciated the option to schedule the appointment through the Angie's List portal. They called me back the next day to arrange an appointment time and were able to accommodate my first preference of date/time. The phone receptionist was very nice; she fully explained the service call procedures and the pricing details of the Angie?s List coupon. The plumber, John, was friendly and professional. I appreciated his honest assessment of the three minor bathroom projects. He fully explained why the issues were occurring and what it would take to fix them. He was able to fix everything the same day.

The plumber, Tim, was super efficient and very competent.He didn't know it, but on that day, he renewed my belief that it is still possible to hire competent works who do not need to need to be monitored to have positive results. He was detailed in his examination of the cause of the leak . He was masterful in his repair and explanation that followed, even offered suggestions for inspecting other vals throughout the home. I am not that familiar with plumbing at all so I did some research online to see if others had experienced the same problem with Kohler shower. I found a lot of videos and information online that it was likely the mixer valve that was causing the problem and it seemed like a straightforward fix. I did a google search for the valve and found the "hard to find part" at my local Home Depot for $45. We purchased it and decided to give it a try but it didn't work. After doing more research online there was some information suggesting that it could be the pressure valve, which again was available at my local Home Depot for $55. After installing both parts, which really only involved replacing 4 screws and some cover plates because the valves just push in, it fixed the problem for $110. I am absolutely convinced that this was an easy fix that the plumber could have fixed in 15 minutes for less than $100. If a novice like me could have figured it out by googling the problem, any certified plumber should have been able to easily resolve the issue instead of asking me to buy an entirely new shower system. I strongly believe that the plumber was trying to scam me into paying much more than I needed to. I am absolutely appalled that an A-rated company like this would have an employee that would pull something like this. This is by far the most egregious attempt at a scam that I have experienced and I am furious over the incident. I would not recommend this company to anyone and would strongly caution anyone on Angie's List from using them in the future.

This was our first Angie's List experience, and boy was it a great one. I purchased the $99 for $200 worth of services deal, which worked out great because we ended up going with a full toilet replacement. Mike showed up and knew very quickly what was wrong. He removed the toilet (and the object clogging it) and offered to put the toilet back, or we could get a new one with the $200 put toward the purchase. He was not "pushy," which I always appreciate when getting work done around the house. Since our toilet was on its last leg anyway, you couldn't beat this deal. Labor and parts came out to $246 (plus the $99 I paid for the deal, so we saved over $100 with the deal), which I found very reasonable, especially for the quality of the new toilet. Mike was extremely professional, honest, and neat/organized. He left us with coupons and a list of services the company provides. I am extremely glad that we chose Air, Plumbing, & Heating Solutions, LLC. The quality and price cannot be beat, and we will definitely be contacting them in the future for our household needs.

This gentleman was very kind and professional. He found the problem and handled it quickly. He was very considerate of my household and made sure to not drag dirt in from outdoors and wore shoe coverings as well. I will definitely call upon this business when I need them in the future. After examining our air conditioning units, I received a call from my adult daughter who said that the guy was requesting another $70 for diagnostic testing. We ended our telephone call politely, but clearly not seeing eye to eye on the associated cost of performing the test. I called the office and spoke with a very pleasant woman who asked me to hold while she contacted the technician. She returned to the line and stated that the unit was not wired and that he had to connect wires. There was clearly miscommunication from the technician on what he had done. They waived off the request for the additional money. However, based on the inability of the technician to clearly communicate what was completed--I opted to find another provider for the services. I appreciated the customer service center staff--as well as her understanding and patience.

The service repair person told us our old unit was out of coolant, but he did not recommend purchasing the fluid because it is very expensive, it is being phased out due to environmental concerns, and our unit is so old is will need to be replaced sooner rather than later. He suggested we call the company's office and get an estimate on a new system. He also explained the advantages of a new system, including increased efficiency and lower energy bills. We appreciated his honesty in not trying to sell us something that wouldn't work in the long run. We will definitely go to Air, Plumbing & Heating Solutions for our new heating and cooling system.

Vendor explained the problem well and performed the service in a timely manner. Parts were very expensive.

I purchased a $99 deal for $200 worth of service. I was scheduled about a week out with a 4-hr window. The plumber arrived a few minutes after the provided window, but had called to say he'd be late due to an emergency service elsewhere. He didn't have the needed parts to repair an exterior drain clean out and had to reschedule that. A little annoying, but not a big deal, it wasn't a time-critical repair. Communication with and from the front office was great. My perception is that communication between the front office and the plumber wasn't perfect, as I had to make and take a few calls while the front office found answers to my questions, but the responses were prompt and my questions were answered. I received detailed work orders by email with notes from the service provider.. always a good thing. The separate HVAC tech that was sent out to deal with the clogged condensate drain line was on time and professional. He confirmed my suspicion of what was wrong, and fixed it with parts on hand. A diagnostic fee of ~$90 was assessed, in addition to the ~$180 repair. I typically see the diagnostic fee waived or reduced if work is performed, so I was a little disappointed by that. I sometimes struggle to get a tech to clearly explain an issue and the recommended solution, but this guy was clear and precise. Overall, I'll happily look past a few minor annoyances to deal with a company that cares about your business, shows professionalism, and is organized, and my experience with the people I talked to is that all these things are true.

This went very well. The guy they sent out was very friendly, efficient, and helpful. They honored a coupon through Angie's List and it went very smooth.

The plumber was great to work with. He fixed the shower pipe quickly and gave advice on the remaining drains and how to maintain them better to prevent future clogs.

Keith came out to diagnose a faulty central air unit. He went through a checklist of potential problems, found the problem fairly quickly (maybe 10 minutes of poking around), and was able to fix it right on the spot. It's working well since! He was very professional, polite, and pleasant to work with.

We had a fried motor, they were able to order the part needed that day and install it the next day. It was easy and the tech was so nice and patient with me and all my newbie questions. I ended up getting an annual service contract with them based on how knowledgeable and personable the tech was.

Air Plumbing did a wonderful job! They initially came out to diagnose a leak in our basement ceiling. Found out that it was coming from the kitchen sink. After discussions with Cindy and Russ, the company sent Tim, a master plumber, to perform the tricky repair. Tim repaired the leak with minimum damage to our home. I truly appreciated Air Plumbing and Heating Solutions' professionalism, responsiveness and expertise. I will definitely use them again for any of our future plumbing needs!

Great process from start to finish. Jeff came over for an estimate and he helped me understand the timing of purchasing, how to maximize the rebates, and what kinds of systems were available. I received several estimates from several places and while they were all very professional, I found Air, Plumbing Heating Solutions to offer the best product for the price, all-around. It was a two day install. They showed up on time, were quiet and professional and answered all of my questions. Both days, they cleaned everything up and you couldn't even tell they were there. I strongly recommend this company.

We purchased the garbage disposal deal on Angie's List. First, the deal was very reasonable compared to the costs of replacing a garbage disposal elsewhere. It was very easy to set up the appointment and the customer service at the company was excellent. They were responsive, very nice, and explained in detail the appointment. Mike did the installation and he was a nice guy. He explained the new disposal thoroughly and made sure everything was in proper order before he left. As a result of this service, we have hired them for another job and will continue to use and recommend them in the future.
