I requested a quote from Air, Plumbing & Heating Solutions LLC on 4/14/16 and after a week, someone came to the house to take a look at the existing unit and said we'd hear back from him with a proposal. We didn't hear anything back for a week so I called the office and was told it could take 8 - 10 days for the proposal. I finally received an email with the quote on 5/4/16 but in the meantime I had reached out to Ductless America as I wasn't sure we were ever going to hear back from Air. As it turns out the Air, Plumbing & Heating Solutions quote was about $500 more than what we received from Ductless America (which only took a day to be sent to us). In addition, the Air quote had incorrect info in it (wrong BTUs for proposed unit); said they would use existing lines when Ductless America installed new ones; would install the new unit on a pad on the ground which was what caused the problem in the first place (Ductless America correctly installed the unit on the wall above the snow line). I had seen all the good review of Air, Plumbing & Heating Solutions LLC on Angie's List and was disappointed in how long it took to get a proposal, the lack of communication, the price of the quote and the proposed work to be done.

Carl called before coming to let me know he was on the way. Upon arrival, he slipped on his shoe covers before even stepping foot inside the door. He checked the furnace in the attic and cleared the pipe after seeing that it was clogged. He even brought down with him some trash that had been left behind by a previous contractor. We then went outside and he showed me the things that needed to be replaced. He performed a thorough check and provided an honest assessment and advice.

It was a bit of a fiasco. The plumber that they sent out decided to go and get a part to fix the leak in my bathtub. He didn't test it, and I left to go to work. When I came back, I filled the bathtub and let it drain, and it leaked down the ceiling. I called them back and said that whatever they did hadn't worked. I had asked him about putting new hose bids on, and so when I called them to send someone out to fix it, and they sent him out to repair hose bids, and I never authorized that at all. All I wanted was get an estimate on that. I had to wait another week so that they could do the repair, and they sent him back out here again, and he admitted to me that he put the wrong part. He thought it would work but he never tested it to see if it works. He chipped my bathtub when he was installing the trap. I am not really happy with the company. It was multiple visits, and I finally told them to send somebody else out and not that plumber because I didn't think he knew what he was doing. I had to pay more money, and then he tried to convince me that I got a good deal because the job was really twice that much. After he chipped my bathtub he said I could just go and get some paint and touch it up. When he was going from my house, he was talking loudly and away from me as he was going to his truck so all the people in the neighborhood could hear my plumbing problems. I think he put a price from the top of his head instead of calling in about it because he didn't want to admit his mistake. They did come when they said they were going to although they came for something I didn't authorize.

They came to our house and assessed the issue and gave us the options and prices and let us make the decision right there. I never felt pressured to make a decision one way or the other but asked what they would recommend if they were in the same situation. I thought he was honest and did what was best for us. He was very respectful and in and out in an hour or so. Very pleasantly surprised at the process.

We purchased a very expensive Aprilaire 1710A basement/crawlspace dehumidifier in October of 2011 for $1018.05. The unit came with a 5-year warranty, worked flawlessly but began to ice up in march of 2016. Aprilaire was happy to honor the warranty if we did the following: 1 Got a diagnosis from a professional heating & cooling company. 2 Had the professional heating & cooling company order a new unit from Aprilaire, pick up the old unit and install the new unit. Note: These are freestanding units on casters so ?installation? is carrying it to the basement. The diagnosis was a leaking Schrader valve and could be easily repaired. Aprilaire however opted to send out a new similarly rated 1850F unit. So far so good. The catch was that we had to pay for #1 and #2 above which were $89.00 and $150 respectively. For this we do not begrudge Air Plumbing & Heating Solutions one iota. To be clear: they had nothing to do with the failed unit and were the only ones that would even talk to us about the warranty exchange. Without them we would be buying another $1000+ dehumidifier. So therefore we are extremely happy with Air, Plumbing & Heating Solutions as they were the only ones who would work with us and handle the complex process of executing Aprilaire?s warranty. As for Aprilaire, we are not exactly thrilled that we had to pay the labor & transport charges but we did get a new unit and a new 5-year warranty. It just seems like we paid a premium for an industrial rated unit which failed under warranty and now we?re paying for labor to diagnose & return it. I have never had to do this for any appliance or anything else, for that matter, that failed under warranty. BTW, Aprilaire flatly refused to send us the unit directly so we had to pay the $150 pickup/exchange fee. Update 4/19/2016: new unit is smaller & quieter than the older unit. It ran continuously at first and got the air humidity from 56% to 45% in approximately 8 hours. It now seems to be cycling normally.

This was a $58 big deal purchase. Everything went well.

That didn't work out either. Mike, they guy that came out, was very nice. He was helpful. In the end it didn't work out because the work that I wanted done would have cost $700 and I just and I just wasn't ready to spend that on plumbing. He was here December 21, 2015. I liked the fact that the guy was helpful and gave me good ideas.

It was fine. Everything went well.

Wasn't able to diagnose an intermittent power issue that we were having, but did check over the system. Advised that we upgrade to a new HVAC due to the age of our current unit.

All work was done quickly and accurately. All switches and fans work well. The installer was very professional and customer oriented.

They were fast, responsive and efficient. I would use them again.

Everything from start to finish was more than I could ask for. I woke up this morning and found that my heat was not working, and with potential temps in the 20's this weekend I knew I needed to get it fixed quickly. I called Air Pluming and Heating at about 9:00 am and was told someone could come out between 11 and 2. Perfect. Mike showed up around 12, took a look at my boiler and knew exactly what to do. In addition, he answered all my questions and told me what I (should have been doing) and need to do to maintain the boiler so this won't happen again. I was kind of thankful that this had happened, because I learned so much about how this happened and what I needed to do to avoid this in the future. Mike showed me the different parts of the boiler and how they worked and why they weren't working. He even corrected things, so it would work more efficiently. He also told me if I need service for my boiler again, to ask for him and I will. He was more knowledgeable about boilers then anyone who had been out before. In addition, I asked him about two of my radiators that leaked, he took a look at one and was able to stop the leak. The other, he said he would have to get a part and would send me a price. Everything about the visit was great, and the cost wasn't as bad as I had expected. Highly recommend and will definitely use Air Plumbing and Heating in the future.

Service provider did a complete inspection of my heating/cooling system. Uncovered problem with heat pump. I used this information to discuss issue with the company that originally installed my unit. Compared the findings with inspection results of original company. Findings from both inspections matched Repair work was done by the original company.

This was by far the worse deal I've purchased from Angie's List. I had two toilets that needed servicing, one was leaking and the other barely flushed. The plumber came in, barely spoke, never put any covers on his feet and proceeded to the first toilet, which was Sir Leaks-a-Lot! He removed the toilet bowl cover and never put it back. I actually found it under the bed, weird! He said the toilet was old and needed to be replaced all together! However, that was not the case. All it needed was a new flap and it was good to go! He then went to second toilet, which had the flushing issue, and he said that one needed to be replaced however that was also untrue! So basically, he could have fixed the toilets but instead, wanted to charge us to replace them. He was supposed to send me an email of the costs to replace the toilets, never received that email. Overall, I was very disappointed with the service. The lack of professionalism and blatant lies lead me to say that I would NOT recommend this company to anyone!

The plumber arrived to install my faucet that I purchased on my own. The plumber offered a better quality faucet from his truck. I declined. There was an additional fee of $46 for the faucet install. The plumber installed the faucet.

The came promptly, did a good repair after another worker had not been able to repair it. It was a little pricey but they did a good job.

Provider was on time to appointment, went right to work, wore booties to keep my carpets clean, polite and knowledgable. My system did not need any work so all I paid for was the check-up.

Work went well until shower drain clogged again on 3/14/16.

It went fine, they had to come back out as I don't think they got it right the first time, but they ended up coming back out and fixing the problem. I paid additional. They came out that day or the next day and then a week later. They came out quickly.

Everything went well. Arrived on time. Very professional. Will use again

The gentleman came in, he introduced himself, showed me his identification from Roto Roter. he then put on his shoe covers and asked me what was my problem. I asked where was Chris, who had come to see what my problem was. He said he had another job. He asked me if I would like wait until the next day for for Chris to come, I asked him could he give me the same price that Chris had given me? He asked what it was, I told him and his answer was of course. he completed the job in a very reasonable amount of time. He was very polite and professional. I asked him about treatment for the pipes and he told me that when I get the money in the amount of $65.00 I could call in and have it done. I was absolutely pleased with everything.

Great job.. lots of good information. Very friendly and professional. Will use them in the future.

Arrived on-time. Did a thorough job checking out and cleaning gas furnace, prepping for heating season. No issues found and no attempt to up-sell me on services not needed. Great job - will use Air Plumbing & Heating again. Recommended.
