Thank you for your review of our recent services. We use a national flat rate pricing system where we load in all of our cost to do business, repair parts and the average time to make each particular repair then the program computes the selling price required to cover our overhead and try to achieve a 10% net profit. The system gives a lump price and does not break down the price of labor and parts therefore we cannot break this down for the customer. We have found this to be the most fair way to be able to give upfront pricing to our customers and the majority prefer to know what the cost is upfront. If we were time and material our pricing would be all over the place based on the speed of the technician, local working conditions, etc. As far as the time it took to acquire the part and make the repair I would agree with the client that this was way to long between the time we diagnosed the issue and the time we returned to take care of it. The particular part needed had to be ordered from the manufacturer, but our office staff failed to contact the customer right away when we received the part. I will be sending this client a $50.00 coupon for future service for any inconvenience this may have caused her. Alan, owner
