They went over and above. They carried the window unit for me upstairs and he was a nice guy. They were punctual.

The serviceman was very professional and personal in every regard.  The owner followed up to ensure the work was done properly by physically examining all work done.

We called early on Monday morning and they had fixed our issue before lunch time.  Very responsive, would definitely use again.

The serviceman was on time, clean and courteous. My Ac is an old one. I expected an up-sell lecture. Never heard it. - replaced faulty parts and cleaned the unit. Ac is working great.

The company employees are very pleasant, prompt, and courteous!  They were able to get someone out withing 1.5 hours of my phone call.  Mike, the plumber, was thorough, inspecting all over the bathroom and kitchen.  He discovered the source of my leak quickly, with minimal damage (he needed to cut a hole in the back of my kitchen sink to find the source of the leak) and found it was my old dishwasher.  I will definitely use this company again.

I used air, Plumbing, and Heating Solutions on two seperate occasions (3/9/12 and 3/14/12).  The first appointment was for an hot water heater replacement.  The two man crew arrived on time, was very professional, and had all necessary equippment.  The completereplacement took two hours.  Now we have consistant hot water.  The second appointment was for an A/C inspection.  Our A/C is 18+ years old so I knew that some work needed to be done.  The service technician was on time and very professional.  All necessary work was accomplished in an timely manner.  No complaints.

Scheduling my appointment was straightforward and efficient, and I received a call from the company telling me that the technicians were on their way. Mike and his assistant Ira  arrived on time and completed the plumbing inspection and water heater flush efficiently.

They identified one problem: Three toilets had badly rusted  (and, in one case, completely missing!) bolts between their bowls and tanks.  They replaced these during the same visit for an extra fee of $300. It is unclear to me whether this is a competitive price, but the quality of the work was good.

The entire servicing lasted one hour, including inspection, draining, and toilet repair.

UPDATE: After reading my comments about the price charged for additional work, an office staff member called me to explained the pricing and offered a $60 refund that she deemed was appropriate after reviewing the work documented on the ticket. I appreciate the company's reaching out to me in this way and addressing my concerns.

I was overall very satisfied with my experiences with Air Plumbing & Heating Solutions LLC. I got an estimate from them. They were quick to respond to my call. They arrived on time and were reasonably professional. It is possible that I would use them in the future.

I would definitely recommend them. I like how when they did the inspection they really explained to me what the problems were.  They made is clear why it was an issue and why it had to be fixed.

They did a good job.  They were on time.  I appreciated that they put on shoe coverings when they came in.  They changed out air filter for us, and inspected everything right away.  They were in and out within an hour.

After hurricane Irene and losing power and having no power to my sump pump, I learned the hard way that it is important to have a back up.  I called Air, Plumbing, & heating solutions because I've had success with them in the past and Alan suggested that I go with a water powered back up.  With a traditional back up, you're only covered until the backup runs out of power and after not having power for 5 days after Irene, I was interested in a better backup.  So the Liberty SJ10 water powered backup fit my needs perfectly.  They also installed a brand new zoeller M57 sump pump.  Another problem I had in my house was poor water pressure.  Alan showed me how the branches off my main water line downsized to 1/2" copper pipe too quickly.  He suggested that much of the piping be upsized to 3/4" copper pipe and then downsized to at appropriate locations to 1/2".  I also had a low quality toilet that I wanted to replace with one I could count on.

On the day of installation the crew arrived on time.  I let them know beforehand that I leave early, and they showed up exactly at 7:30 AM.  When I came home all the work was done and cleaned up.  The toilet works great.  Water pressure is greatly improved.  And the sump pump & back up are working like a charm.   I was really curious to see how well the water powered back up works, so I unplugged the traditional sump pump and filled the basin with water.  And it worked!  Alan particularly excelled at making great recommendations for my problems.   And I really like how they provide a labor warranty for all their work.  Great job!

They showed up on time and I was very eager to see a video of my sewers.  I knew they were old and wanted to get an idea of how bad it was going to be.  They didn't mind me standing there and watching and they gave me a DVD when they were done.  Fortunately they weren't that bad at all, but just needed to be cleaned due to a lot of grease build up.  They water jetted them clean for me and then replaced the cast iron sewer entrance with PVC.  The price was competitive.  They were clean and took precautions to protect the carpet.  After they were done, they cleaned up so well you'd never even know they were there.   Alan, the owner, was a true pleasure to work with and his plumber is very responsive to requests.  Excellent job!

Copper piping for my laundry machine had a code violation due to it running next to the electrical panel.  Alan came out and took a look at it and because of all the electrical wiring in the joists, it was involved to fix. Mike the plumber came to the house, ran the new pipes and secured them well to the joists and wall.  I looked at all the soldering of the joints and it was done well.  I've used this company before, and the crew are very trustworthy, so I felt comfortable leaving them in the house alone.  So I wasn't there at all when they did the job.  After the job was complete, I told Alan that ideally I would have like the piping to extend a bit farther.  he was very responsive and wanted me to be happy.  Within a week, Mike came back and did the revision.  Perfect combination of high quality work and excellent customer service.

I got them out of Angie's List.  They have fixed the problem initially, and now we have a contract with them for unit maintenance.

They arrived exactly at 7:30 am as promised. Mike & Nick, were very through and cleaned up very neatly.

The service and professionalism overall was fantastic. Alan, the owner, worked with me on price after a competitor came in with a lower price on similar equipment. Alan was also scrupulous during the followup walkthrough to address any remaining concerns I had. The workers worked well with our configuration (we had to close the basement door so they could work and they had access to the work area via the outside cellar door).

Work done was, with a few minor exceptions taken care of during the followup walkthrough, exactly to the spec that Alan and I had talked about during the initial quoting process and estimate.

Workers were scrupulous about wearing booties in the primary floors of the house and scrupulous about cleaning up after themselves. We swept the basement floor in prep for their arrival and they left it looking as clean as it was when they got there.

As part of the overall install, the company was also very careful to adjust the existing system to meet code. The major points there were that a descending gas supply pipe was previously galvanized and they replaced it with to-code flexible pipe. Also they installed a CO-sensor safety interlock on the flue going out to the pre-existing lined chimney. Finally, they wired the pump into the system so that if the pump failed, the system would shut down (to avoid flooding and leaks).

All work was completed on time, work was very good quality, materials and equipment also very high quality and we are quite enjoying our new HVAC system. It keeps the house consistently at the temperature we want it, it's quiet and unobtrusive and quite a joy to not have to worry about any more.

The only minor issue I have is that there was a materials mixup that I overheard (because I was home and ducts really amplify and carry voices) that forced decisions on implementing that the on-site supervisor tried to convince me were intentional decisions. In the end the issues that generated were neatly handled in the followup walkthrough, so no harm done, but I'd appreciate honesty in the moment rather than being obviously white lied to.

Very professional front office.  The Service Technician came on time and examined the appliances and got a humidifier that was previously not working  to operate.

I received an appointment time at the exact time I wanted.  Two people arrived for the service call on time and performed the routine check efficiently and completely.  I ended up signing up for a service plan for on-going service and I would recommend them in the future.

Extremely smoothly. Once I learned from technician that replacing a part for the air conditioner wasn't feasible (due to changes in technology), the company president came the next day to appraise situation and needs.  He was responsive, and professional, clearly explaining options and finances and giving recommendations.  In a few days, he submitted a quote for his "best" recommeendation and a cheaper alternative. After rebates, tax credit, and Angie's list coupon, the "best" option was only slightly more costly, so I accepted that.  They helped arrange financing, we scheduled a date, and on that date the team came and worked very smoothly and professionally. Central A/C system was not producing cool air. I called on a Monday and they were out, first thing, on Tuesday. They determined there was a slow Freon leak and it was low by 2 lb. The techs were right on time, friendly and efficient. Very happy with their service.

I telephoned Air Solutions LLC to give me an estimate on a new AC unit.  An appointment was made and Air Solutions LLC came as scheduled.  It was determined that a 2-ton AC unit would be the proper size for the house size and I purchased a Lennox model, which was highly recommended to me.  The AC unit was installed the very next day.  It has been about a week now and the AC is working fine.  All the people I dealt with during this process were very professional and friendly and answered all of my questions.  I would recommend this company to all Angie List members.
