MILLER'S LAWN SERVICE

Went well, as expected. I signed a contract with Miller's Lawn Service for next year's lawn work.clean-up, mulching, trimming, leaf removal. Mr. Miller is very professional and accommodating. He know his business and tells you truthfully what you need. He's very punctual and accommodating. Any bad reports about him came from residents of the Potomac area, and having dealt with many of them myself, on a small-businees basis, I can tell you that their reports are based on their own arrogance and self- absorbtion. Some of those residents are very nice people, a lot of others think that everyoone exists for their convenience, and treat service providers like indentured servants. My advice is to disregard their reports. Mr. Miller is top quality, as a business man and as a person.

He came over and said he was going to send me an estimate. After a few weeks, I called because I had not received the estimate. He stated that he sent it and that I must have lost it. I checked my email and also my deleted email and it was nowhere to be found. He never sent it.

I called Miller's to get an estimate on regular yard maintenance and initial clean up. I schedule a meeting on a weekend when I was going to have to work and was unable to get back to the house in time. Admittedly, I missed the appt scheduled.However, when I called Miller's to try to apologize for my missing of the meeting an attempt a reschedule my calls went unreturned. I attempted to contact the company multiple times and was never contacted back. Pretty disappointing given the service that other AL members have reported.

I live in NC, but needed a lawn service to handle some clean-up, trimming and mulching at my rental property in Bethesda. I found Miller's through the list; they responded immediately to my call and were on the job within a matter of days. The work was done quickly and professionally.

High quality service at a good price. I am new to Angie's List and have been using Millers Lawn Service for 5 years and highly recommend him to all my friends and clients (I'm a Real Estate agent). Every year Mr. Miller will meet with me to go over what I need done and set up an annual plan and provide a written estimate. What I really like is that for an annual service package, he let me set up a monthly payment plan so that it's divided into equal installments over the year. I have the payment set on bill pay and I can manage the expense easier because it's the same each month. Great service and super convenient.

Miller's send out a crew of people and completed the work within one day. Work was performed professionally and they did everything I asked for.

We got them off of Angie’s List, and we were very happy with their services. They came when they were supposed to. I wasn’t home when the work was being done, but when we came home, it looked really nice. We will use them again.

The owner showed up as scheduled to give me an estimate and promised he would send me the estimate within a week. It has been several weeks, and I have yet to receive the promised estimate.

We have been extremely pleased. They did a beautiful job on the clean-up, which took about a day and a half. They have been coming weekly to mow the lawn, weed and tend the beds. They are punctual and professional and everything looks great.

I found Joe Miller on Angie's list last year, and used them. Called them back this year. Joe is just as responsive, professional and reasonably priced as last year. I will call them back again next year, too.

They did a great job like they always do. I got them from Angie's List about three years ago and have since used them two to three times a year. They have always been flexible and helpful. They always offer suggestions and don't try to sell you the most expensive thing, they like to just make sure you get what you need. I will continue to use them.

It looks like a new backyard. We wish we would have had them do more now - it looks so good! We'll definitely have them back for future lawn care needs that are too big for us to handle.

Joe Miller came to my home, looked over the yard work I wanted and told me he would be pleased to do the work. However, my calls to set up an appointment were unanswered. I did receive an e-mail message that my requests were on his desk, but I never got a call back. His crew may do good work, but not responding to my requests to set a date to do the work is unacceptable. He may be over his head. I wasted several weeks trying to get him to do the work because he was highly rated by Angie's list. I should have contacted several firms on the list and gone with someone else when I had trouble getting a response from Miller.

I called the company and left a message requesting an estimate for lawn mowing. I received a return call promptly, and was told I would find an estimate in my door within 48 hours. I did not receive an estimate. I called again, and left a message - no call back.

He's great. He's reliable and dependable. I would highly recommend him.

I found Joe's company on Angie's List and scheduled an estimate with him a couple days after I first contacted him. He came to my house and spent about 2 hours discussing what I wanted done and how it could be accomplished. I scheduled the job to be done a week after the estimate - Joe was very accommodating when I had to move the day because of a work conflict. The workers all arrived on time and Joe and I went to the nursery to pick out my plants. I wasn't sure it was necessary to actually pick out the plants with him, but it turned out to be very helpful, as we ended up making some substitutions. My front yard looks absolutely beautiful now. The entire job was done in one day and the price was very fair. Joe was helpful and honest, without being patronizing, while his crew was professional and courteous. I hope they'll come do my back yard next year!

They were very thorough, they were a little on the high side of expenses but I thought it was worth it. We discussed the job before they did it. The did the job and more. They had good communication.

Great! My lawn guy blew my leaves to the curb yesterday and the City of Rockville is not scheduled to pick them up until December. I thought great, but the wind will blow the leaves back into the yard by the time the City sucks them up! I called Miller this morning and he said he could come in the afternoon. They were sucked up by 1:45! Yay!!!

Millers is a small company but they have a crew. They do a good job and I have had no complaints so far. Our lawn looks good and they do a good job.

They came in with the right equipment and did the job well. I will use them again. They were quick and efficient. They were there in a timely manner and were on time.

Within minutes after I e-mailed the company, which I found on Angie's List, I received an e-mail response to the effect that I would receive a phone call the next day to set up an appointment with Mr. Miller for an estimate. The call came as promised and we arranged a specific time (no window) for the estimate. Mr. Miller was punctual. He wrote down what I needed for the yard clean-up and said that it would be a week or two. In the meantime, I signed a contract for weekly mowing for the remainder of this season, which began, again as promised, the following week. The operative words for this company are "promptness" and "dependability." May Miller's Lawn Service prosper!

Got their name off of Angie's List. Called them and got an estimate. They then carried out the work successfully. I would recommend them to others.

I found them on the List. I chose them because they were local and well rated. The owner gave us the price and we wanted it done quickly and they were able to fit us into their schedule. They came on a Saturday. They charged per hour. We are happy with what they did and I would use them again.

Price shown is per week. They are fine.

I emailed Miller's on a weekend, and immediately received a return email saying I would receive a call on Monday. I did receive said call, and set up a meeting 2 days later for Joseph Miller to come and give me an estimate. He was prompt, professional, and very personable,which was very nice for me. I received the estimate a few days later. The estimate was less than what I expected, and immediately returned the signed contract. A few days later I received an email giving me an estimate of when my work would be done. An email followed that said the work could be performed that day, which was wonderful for me. The crew did more than what was on the contract, with professionalism and kindness.
