MILLER'S LAWN SERVICE

Mr. Miller came out and gave good advice on lawn repair at a fair price for the cleanup and mowing service. They're prompt, efficient and do a great job; the trimming is neat and tidy.

Mr. Miller arrived right as scheduled on Friday, June 6, looked over the garden -- in a pleasant, professional manner. After he completed his survey, Mr. Miller said that he would work up the estimates for the work and send me an e-mail on Monday. I am still awaiting the promised e-mail.

Got an estimate within one day of calling. Email of date for work to be done turned out to be incorrect. Called the office and got a call back the same day with a new date for the work, which they met. There workers were polite and they cleaned up after the branches and tree were cut. Would call them again for work.

The men arrived early. They were efficient and worked diligently clearing leaf debris, dried plants and weeds. They removed unwanted plants from a flower bed that I hope to replant soon. They edged the lawn around plantings, mowed, re-mulched and pruned the shrubs and trees. They placed all the debris on a large canvas sheet for removal, and they left my yard and driveway/walkways very clean.

In my opinion, the average quality of the work was fairly good. However, I found that dealing with Miller's Lawn Service was difficult and frustrating for me. I would not recommend, and I will not use, Miller's Lawn Service again.

Poorly since I had to use leave to take off work to meet the supervisor in the first place. This is bad business.

Great. Joe and his office manager Amanda were responsive to my initial call, scheduled initial meeting the next day, had a few questions on the bid that were answered by Amanda within 24 hours, signed contract and work was performed the following week. 5-7 individuals showed up to clean up yard and the work was complete by early afternoon. I had a few other bids and price was comparable if not better and they could perform the work quicker, which was my deciding factor.

I am very satisfied with them. I signed a yearly contract for them to start again in April. They are dependable and quick. They do decent quality work. They do a good, clean job and they don't leave it looking messy. They all speak English. Their price is really good and they do a lot for the money. They are there when I need them and they come on my schedule, not theirs. Mr. Miller, who owns the company, is extremely professional and oversees everything to make sure it is done not only to his standards but our standards as well. I like them.

I have used Joe before and as usual he and his crew did a great job. Will definately use again.

He was so good with my mother who is developing dementia. I was there as well but people have taken advantage of her in the past and he didn't try to do that. He was prompt, he brought some guys with him and they did the work he said they would do, the cost was reasonable, and he was just very pleasant to work with. They did a great job and I plan on using them again next year.

Still no response to my phone or e-mail messages. I initially contacted them during the holidays, but there should have been plenty of time to respond; if they're closed for the season, that should have been indicated on the voicemail greeting (and preferably an e-mail autoresponder, too).

They did a really nice job and they came on time. They worked very efficiently.

So far everything looks good. There isn't a leaf in sight. He has good, state of the art equipment, which I like. He is a very pleasant person.

I called and left a message. Amanda returned my call almost right away. She said that they do not do any weeding, fertilizing or aeration but they do mow and leaf gathering. When I gave her my address, she told me that they do not work in Gaithersburg, MD. Too bad.

They were FANTASTIC. The owner came out to go over the work with me a week or two ahead of time. He showed up right on time and we went over everything that needed doing. He also advised me to hold off on some things till the fall. When it was time for the crew to come my husband convinced me to stay home for the day because our dogs get a little crazy with people around; end result was that I got to see them at work. And MAN did they work! About 6 guys showed up and they HAULED @SS cleaning everything up. No slackers on this crew! They worked hard and they worked fast, and by the time they were done (with what was really a huge job) the yard looked AMAZING. They really paid attention to detail -- I just couldn't believe how great everything looked. Totally worth every penny to see my yard go from neighborhood embarrassment to the best I've ever seen it in 10 years of dating and then marrying my husband. He wasn't too thrilled with me going over his head and bringing them in (manly lawn pride), but even he had to admit that they did an incredible job!

I called in the morning, and they happened to have a crew in the area between bigger jobs, and they came and completed the work in a few hours, that day. It looks great. They are always responsive and always do a great job!

Joe was extremely personable and patient with my ederly mother. He was prompt in e-mailing a proposal and showing up on the proposed date and time. The yard looked very neat and trim when finished. We were very pleased with the finished job.

Joe Miller came out and looked over what needed to be done, then sent out a team to perform the work. The entire yard needed to be cleaned up, bushes trimmed, weeded, remulched, and 3 large trees needed to be cut back. His team came and began the work, then it started to pour rain. They were back the next morning to finish up. They are professional, friendly and a great company to work with. I would recommend them to anyone. They leave your yard looking beautiful!

Mr. Miller is totally professional. In addition, he's a first rate person and an honest businessman. He never tries to sell me a bill-of-goods. He gives good advice and insights. His crews are competent, quick and efficient, but never give "short-shrift" to the work being done. Plus, the crew members are always completely courteous and polite. The bottom line is you get really good value for a really reasonable price. Mr. Miller is a successful businessman because of the quality of his services. Therefore, he may not always get back to you the same day you call or e mail him, but it's worth the day's wait.

horrible experience....unsure why the company does not have a person answering their calls if they are so busy. I question the excellent rating for this provider on your list.

His work is so much better than the last lawn service I had, that I don't even know where to begin! Plus he is prompt. He was there to clear our driveway of snow this past winter before anyone else's snow removal service on our block. He returns calls and emails promptly too.

I have had Joe and his company "refurbish" our yard after winter and all of the mess it usually leaves behind. Joe's employees, all permanent help with no subcontractors, were very thorough and professional as usual. They are all prompt, competent workers who are very experienced at their jobs. After a contract is signed, Joe schedules the work to be done; usually within a week. Our yard is the envy of the neighborhood again!

Miller's has been excellent. reliable, fairly priced, excellent work.

My experience with them has been excellent. They do a very good job. They are very responsive and interactive; he really listens to what the customer wants. The only problem is that he is expensive when it comes to special projects but it is not really a problem for me. I think it is really one of those deals where you get what you pay for. However, he is right in line with his price in terms of standard work like mowing.
