It started raining inside in the kitchen on Thursday and Lou Albotelli was recommended on our neighborhood listserv. We gave him a call on Friday and on Sunday morning he texted and asked if someone could come between 8:30 and 10am. We asked them to give us until 9am and at 9:30 they came. They went up on the roof and explained it had been a problem with debris. They cleaned out the debris and did some caulking, shook our hands, and left, not asking for any payment. When the second estimate came out the roofer (highly recommended on Angie's List--with far more reviews) declared the work perfect and agreed completely that we should be fine...just sweep off the roof once a year. Highly ethical and professional company who certainly deserves your business.

We decided that before our family grew any further, getting ahead of the roof replacement was a good idea. I replied to a 10 month old email thread from Lou who jumped back in, replied quickly to my emails, and got us booked for a few days later. He came by to review the contract and land on the right single and color, which he helped me select from a list of pre approved models from my HOA. The work started 48 hours later and was done in one afternoon despite some rain and light snow. While time truly determines the quality of work in a roof install, I’d recommend Lou to anyone looking for roof repair or replacement in the area. Fast, fair, kind, responsive and reliable.

Really well! We have a new slate roof to show for it. HIs crew worked morning to evening, and even cleaned up after each day of work. Lou was great to work with.

Lou Altobelli appeared very eager to do the job, and spent significant time explaining what they would do and why it would be done. Despite quoting a price that was significantly lower than the other companies that we consulted, the work was done quickly and efficiently. All of the work was completed within a single day, even though they installed a ridge vent and had to remove two layers of old roof. The crew avoided damaging any of the plants, and there was essentially no trace that they had ever been there once they left.

Went great - came quickly, did the work. No leaks! Was very nice and friendly.

So, I called Lou, and we discussed the problem. He said sounded like it was water coming in around a nail in the "flashing" around the chimney - apparently a very small job. Okay, I'm an environmental scientist. I have no clue what a flashing is, and I scoffed that all the inside damage could have been caused by water coming in around a nail!! But we set an appointment up for Saturday. I got a call about an hour before they were due to arrive, and he said they go hung up on another job and wouldn't be able to make it, and could he come tomorrow, SUNDAY. What?? Sunday??? of course!!! they did. they showed up promptly the next morning, did the work well and quickly, told me i'd need a new roof in a year or two (which matches the time frame from the home inspector gave when i bought the house in '08), they thoroughly cleaned up, and they were on their way to another small job in the area. I was soooo pleased!!! I sent a notice around to my list serve confirming that all the good stuff was true. I didn't realize they were here until just now. I just saw him last week at the house of a neighbor across the street doing work and stopped to say hi. BOTTOM LINE: Lou is just a nice guy who does great work at a great price!!! You can't go wrong with him!!!

Our experience with LA3 Industries was outstanding from start to finish. Lou, the owner, was incredibly responsive and so professional from the very beginning to the very end. He used an "eagle view" of our house to do the estimate and dropped it off for us with a sample board while we out during the day, and was available to us for questions. The quote materials were very thorough, running through everything that would be done for the main roof and the porch. Lou checked in after a few days but was never overbearing like others we had gotten quotes from. We never had the "hard sell" feel from him which was one of the reasons we went with him, not to mention that his quote was several thousand dollars less than the others we received. The day of the job, Lou arrived well ahead of his crew to make sure that things were ready to go, and when his guys arrived, they got right to work. They did an excellent job, taking the roof down to the bare roof deck and built it back up again. The job was completed on the same day, taking about 10 hours to complete. We watched them as they worked and the attention to detail was clear, and we now have a beautiful new roof as proof. We can't say enough about Lou and his crew, and he even brought us a small gift to thank us for our business. We would absolutely hire him again if we had other projects in the future. We're so glad we found him and went with LA3 Industries!

Fantastic experience. Prompt and professional responses to phone and emails. Everything happened as stated. Showed up on time and finished job in a half day. Would definately recommend and use again for other projects.

I cannot overstate what wonderful work was done by this company and especially the owner, Lou Altobelli . They did a beautiful job on the windows, worked hard to ensure that there was as little disruption to me as possible during the period they were working, made accommodations for my disability in terms of doing all of the needed moving of the furniture and its contents without my having to participate in any way, and cleaned up so that the premises were immaculate when the work was completed. In terms of going above and beyond, they also arranged to connect me with a carpeting company who could also accommodate the moving of furniture as part of their service, and even though that company does not take credit cards they arranged to subcontract the job so that I could pay by credit card. This was enormously helpful.and totally outside of the work I was paying them for; simply an act if kindness. The company also does siding, roofing and gutters and based on my experience I would expect superlative work from them in any of those categories.
