We bought our first home in the middle of a crazy seller's market where housing prices were going well over (in some cases 60k-100k) list price. Jami showed us every home we wanted to see and pointed out the pros and cons and gave us his honest (well informed and experienced) opinion about the value of the house. If it weren't for Jami's honesty, experience, and wealth of knowledge, we would have paid way more than we should have. We've worked with other realtors in the past who were fine, but in retrospect, they did not do much for us at all. Jami is unlike any realtor you will meet. His honesty and knowledge exceeds all.

He is the real deal. We bought our dream home and sold our previous home during CoVID-19 and Jami made the process as painless and smooth as it could get. When it comes to selling your house, LISTEN to everything he tells you to do. Not only did he educate us throughout the process, he told us basic things we needed to do to get our house ready for selling. They did not take us long to do but they made a huge difference when we listed our home. Despite CoVID, we received so many interests and multiple offers even though there were similar homes in our community that were on the market before ours. We sold our home and even received a back-up offer while an offer was pending! Jami came as a referral from the president of my company who said her home sold before other homes listed on her block and that was our exact experience with Jami. Now, for buying...Jami is very passionate about his work and expects and demands the best for his clients. Not only does he smell a bad situation/deal from a mile away,he also sniffs past the facade and staging of houses and uncovers any hidden issues houses may have (his construction background is excellent for his line of work). We initially were looking to buy our dream home close to his office but ended up looking at houses at a location almost 1.5 hours away from Jami. That did not stop him from showing up on time to appointments, meetings with us, closings etc. Most times, he even showed up before we did, always armed with a wealth of information. I have worked with Jami. My wife has worked with Jami. Three of my friends have worked with Jami. We will continue to work with Jami. I used to be a loan officer. I worked with numerous realtors. Some were near retirement and focused on putting clients in ANY home, so long as it earned their commissions. Some would advise selling clients to sell to the first potential buyer despite potential financial risks embedded in those buyers' financial profiles. Jami is not one of those realtors. Jami is in the upper echelon of realtors that I worked with. He’s the best in that elite group. When we first moved to Ohio, Jami helped my wife sell her condo in Ashburn, VA. He connected her to a contractor who performed several small improvements that brought out the life in her property. She had a ratified contract after the first weekend of showings. The process was painless, and Jami kept her on track with all of the documents she needed to sign or provide all the way through closing. He was the consummate professional. Jami helped three of my friends purchase their first homes. He took his time to take them out to open houses or perform private showings. He was available any time of day to meet them for home/pest inspections or answer questions. For each of those purchase transactions, Jami went above and beyond. He even spent a few weeks after helping my friend construct a wheel chair ramp for his mom, after he helped his mom purchase a home. These aren’t things that other realtors do. Most recently, Jami helped me sell my first home, which was located in Maryland as I now live in Ohio. I obviously wasn’t available to meet contractors, appraisers, inspectors, or to perform any type of last-minute maintenance. Jami did all of these things as if he was selling his own home. I felt good that I was able to sell my home to a first-time home buyer. The buyer’s lender had several delays along the way (which Jami warned me could happen because of the reputation of that lender), but he did his research and assured me that this lender still makes it to the finish line. I felt comfortable that one way or another, he was going to make this deal happen. The lender was 17 days late to provide the “clear to close” on the loan, but Jami negotiated penalties into the extensions that made me whole for buyer-initiated delays. I didn’t lose a penny because of the buyer delays. On the day of closing, Jami drove to the settlement even though I had signed my disclosures in advance. He wanted to make sure the buyers made it to the finish line and that I received my funds from settlement. It’s difficult to describe all of the stresses that come with buying or selling a home. Lender requests are mounting as regulatory burden increases. HOAs can be slow to provide documentation. The other party to the transaction could delay closing. Whichever side of the transaction you are on, Jami goes to bat for you. I don’t recommend multiple realtors to my friends and family. I recommend one person. It’s not because I don’t know other agents that could get the job done. Other agents don’t do all of the work that Jami does.

Jami Denis helped us in the sale of our old home, and the purchase of our new home. Jami was extremely professional, providing honest, feedback to us, and was always available for any questions or concerns. Summarizing how fantastic Jami has been helping us find out the house we really wanted is hard and I am sure I will not include all his characteristics that make him one of the best agents in the area. Our home search lasted over 7 months and we saw countless homes in the process. Jami was always there to help us. He was very patient with us and he never “pushed” us towards any property. He was always the first to call properties overpriced if he assessed them as overpriced. He was always quick to identify and point out potential issues with properties. He is every experienced identifying potential problems and offering solution ideas and risk mitigating strategies. He tirelessly searched for properties that fit our desires and always analyzed comps and neighborhoods when we were interested in putting offers. Speaking of offers, he put 4 offers for us in the process and he protected our interests all the way. His negotiating skills helped us get the house we liked the most in Bethesda. Even after the closing Jami was there for us helping out dealing with contractors when our work schedule didn't allow to do it ourselves. He really goes out of his way to make sure that his clients have a seamless transition and can settle into their new homes with peace. Summarizing, Jami is the most professional agent I have ever worked with and the only one I will be working in the future. I cannot recommend him enough.

Jami made all the difference on this journey. The last time we a home we bought new construction. A totally different experience and things to factor in. Jami truly sets his clients up to win. Purchased a home with Jami as my realtor in May 2019. Jami was actually recommended to me by a coworker that had used him a year prior. She had nothing but great things to say, and I'm glad I listened to her. Jami, spent about 9 months finding the right home for my wife and I. He was patient, knowledgeable, and never tried to push us into anything just to close a sale. I especially liked his keen eye for potential problems while looking through the home. It was obvious he had some experience with building. His was extremely quick to respond to inquiries and I have already recommended him to a coworker of mine moving to Maryland later this year.

As first time home buyers, my fiance and I knew very little of the home buying process. Jami was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and helpful from the first time we met through the moment that we were handed the keys, and has continued to make himself useful even after settlement. He works very diligently and clearly understood our needs, finding answers to questions in a timely manner. One of the things that we liked the most was Jami's residential construction background. He was exceptional at informing us what we could expect to be repairing in every house we toured. He was also very good at working with our schedules. I can't say enough good things about working with Jami Dennis. He worked with us tirelessly to make sure we found a house we love. I've had friends who work with agents who are mostly concerned with making the sale. In contrast, Jami made sure we made thoughtful and price-appropriate offers and he was patient with us so that we saw many houses and only moved on a house when we were completely sure. We ended up finding the house of our dreams in Chevy Chase in early 2018. Throughout the process he was consistently professional and a great resource for figuring out the bones of the house and the work that would need to be done- this was particularly helpful because we were first time home owners. We also had a 7 month old and Jami was so flexible with his time and working with us at crazy hours of the day and night to put in the offer. When my husband and I decided to move from California to Maryland to be close to our daughters, we were overwhelmed by just the thought of having to find a new home from thousands of miles away. Fortunately, Jami was recommended to us and he did everything he could to make the process easier. Since it wasn't practical for us to hop on a plane every time a listing came up that we we were interested in, Jami offered to preview homes for us and called us after viewing to give us feedback. He was able to give us his objective opinion about the condition of the home and how well he thought it fit our criteria. When we did fly out from California to see homes, he was happy to take us around to see any homes we were interested in, sometimes taking us to the same home multiple times. He never made us feel rushed and always paid attention to what we did and did not like about each house. When we were finally found "the one", Jamie helped us formulate the best offer. During the inspection, we found several issues with the home and Jamie helped us negotiate to have some repaired by the sellers and to get a credit from the sellers to fix the others ourselves. When all was said and done, Jami helped us get a great deal on a house that had everything we were looking for.

Jami is great. He handled everything for us in a clear, easygoing, thorough way, but also put up a fight when the seller gave us the run-around once under contract. I'd recommend him to anyone looking to buy in the DC area.

Very well. Jami led us through the process (this had been our first house and we had no idea how to go about selling it). He gave us very good advice about how to prepare the home before listing it, and we were very happy that we received an excellent offer on the house the day after listing. We moved before the settlement was finalized, and Jami was extremely helpful as a point of contact when we were out of state. He has been a pleasure to work with, and we really appreciate all the hard work he put into selling our house. We couldn't be happier!

The process went very well. Jami was always punctual, would send listings that met my requirements, was always honest and had no hesitation telling me to walk away from a property that would not suit me. He does not push anything and lets the client make decisions with his guidance. I will also add that Jami has utmost integrity and it comes through in his interactions with his clients as well as other people he has to interact with . This is a priceless quality.

Jami made a really stressful situation easy for us--he always went above and beyond. He is incredibly knowledgeable and detail-oriented, offers professional advice without being pushy, and always had our best interests in mind. We felt comfortable trusting him to represent us in negotiations and his knowledge of every legal detail was impressive. Perhaps most notable was both the buyers' and sellers' agents commenting on his professionalism and courtesy. We left the negotiations feeling like we got everything we had hoped for, and yet the closings were very amicable. He has even been in contact since the closings, just to follow-up and check in on our family.

Seamless. Jami is honest, hardworking, always available for my phone calls and input. At the start and throughout the entire process. From a sellers perspective Jami has a sharp eye at making suggestions on getting the home ready and priced correctly for the market. On the paper side of the process Jami is very detailed, he double checked all the paper work and caught several mistakes that the buyers agent made. He was persistent and not intrusive. He allows for the presentation of all the facts and provides sound judgment without pushing an agenda. His main intention is to take care of his customer while getting the deal done the way you want. My house was located in Riverdale Park Maryland, 20737. As of the spring 2017 it was considered a hot location in the D.C. metro area. Jami dealt with over 40 visits to a Sunday open house, he fielded multiple bids and was a steady hand during a frenzy of home buyers agents that I can only imagine to be scattered chaos. When I originally purchased the house in 2009, as a first time home buyer, I used an agent that was a typical agent. A referral from a friend, friendly, smiles a lot, interested in small talk, and has so many interests and loose ends you are amazed at how they are responsible for a job so important. When I went to the table to buy my house in 2009 I felt at such a disadvantage, I had no clue what I was doing but I knew that I was jealous of the sellers agent. I truly believe most agents are clueless or are smart but so busy and profit driven that they are scattered. I told myself then that never again would I work with a typical agent. I wanted someone who was grounded, detail oriented, knowledgable of the Maryland geography because they grew up in the area, and someone who was going to give it to me straight without the over the top persona. I wanted a 'closer' to sit by me when signing the documents, who had done all his homework, reviewed all the numbers and therefore, cool as ice during the closing. Over the years I have had experience with 8 different agents both on the selling and buying side of the deal. Jaime is the best. I would recommend him to my family members and all my friends. And I would especially recommend him to any first time home buyers out there unfamiliar with the territory or process. And I would highly recommend him to home owners selling their life long investment to safely steer your nest egg through the landmines of clueless agents. You will be in good hands, and I promise. You will not be jealous of the other teams agent when you look back at one of the most important transactions of your life.

Jami is amazing. As first time home buyers, we were nervous, inexperienced and naive. Jami was patient with us and always looked out for our best interest. He has a ton of knowledge about how homes are built, what to look for when assessing the condition/value of a home and was an incredible mentor for us during this process. We finally wrote and offer on a home and the offer was accepted. During our inspections, we found some water issues. We wanted to find some estimates on fixing the water problems before we decided whether we would go forward. Jami was able to provide a number of people to contact and we added some of our own. Jami was available day after day and would meet the contractors at the property so we could find out if we wanted to proceed. He helped us extend our contingency until we felt comfortable we could fix the problem and never once made me feel like it was crazy for needing so many estimates! He saved us so much money, stress and frustration. I could not have been any happier and I will definetly call him again when I need someone to help me buy or sell a property!

Jami was very quick to understand our preferences, was extremely responsive to email/text and always followed through with information when he said he would. He seemed to go the extra mile to give us all the information we'd need to make a decision. He has a background in construction too so was very knowledgeable on things to look out for when walking through a house and could give us at least ball-park estimates of what various issues were likely to cost to fix (though he was not hesitant to say when he didn't know something and would suggest consulting with an expert). My partner and I ended up changing our search to a different state so were not able to buy a house through Jami but we have no doubt that he would have guided us through the process expertly. Overall Jami was very pleasant and easy to work with, fully earned our trust and respect that he was watching out for our best interest, and we would recommend him highly!

I was a first time homebuyer - so no experiences, lots of fears, questions and concerns, and the process is long and terrifying. Jami impressed me out of the gate with his punctuality, availability to show properties across pretty vast area of MD and VA, and his fast response to all of my questions. He also is great at giving recommendations, but never pushing into any decisions. It is very important to work with a knowledgeable and confident realtor, when you are a first homebuyer and Jami is just that. He helped me steer through such common challenges of the process, as home inspection back and forth, price negotiations, and first and foremost, figuring out what is the right fit for me in terms of the property. Jami was an outstanding realtor and a pleasure to work with throughout the process. He was able to find us a place in an A+ location that appraised for $25k higher than our purchase price. Working closely with our mortgage broker, he was able to coordinate a closing period in about TWO weeks which was even before the aggressive closing deadline which the seller required. Throughout the process, he was very communicative and was always available to show us places. Another great skill which he possesses that was of great use during the process is that he has a keen eye for construction, repairs, and craftsmanship. Using this expertise he was able to guide us with which properties to avoid and which to move forward on. He was never pushy nor did he overly sell a property which helped us in making an informed comfortable decisions which we are very happy with.
