The work was done in a timely manner. However, some plants were removed that should have remained as they were perennials. ATD replaced those that could still go into the ground in the fall and will replace others in the spring. I would use them again as it is hard to find companies that will hand weed which is what my perennial garden needs.

These folks were great. Our original date was rained out, but they squeezed us in on a Sunday at no extra cost. The mulch is great, and the guys were quick and professional.

They put the plants in my back yard. Immediately I let Tina, the front person know that the plants were dying. She denied that they could be dying and told me to water them which I did. I continued to insist that the plants were dying. She blamed me saying it was my responsibility if they weren't growing. Finally I told her I was going on line to write a report. She came immediately under threat to my house and saw the dead plants. Finally she hustled to replace the plants and was extra nice because she knew I would go on line and give her the worst rating. She was one of the worst professionals I have dealt with in my 40 years of gardening. "Blame the client and absolve yourself of any responsibility." She replaced the plants. Now again they are dead. They are totally brown When everyone else's garden is green. I implored her to come fix them before a party. She just could not make the time. This company must buy the cheapest left over plants they can find. THEY BROUGHT DEATH TO MY GARDEN TWICE. I TRUST THEM NOT AT ALL. ATD has no conscience about their work.

They did a nice job, I thought they were very good. They stayed here a very long time about 7 or 8 hours, its a small area they cleaned out everything. They had some package deals and they were very responsive.

They arrived on time, worked quickly and cleanly, and did a great job overall.

I selected ATD because of its strong Angies List reviews and because they replied promptly to my e-mails. I asked them to do a preliminary lawn mow so that I could judge the quality of the service. I made it very clear that I want a service that will cut evenly and not spray grass clippings into the flowerbeds. I was willing to pay a bit more (+$5/cut) than in the past to get the "attention to detail" this company promises. After I clarified that I would pay for the test cut, ATD came out and did a fine job. Unfortunately, I did not confirm that I wanted to sign up for service in time for them to cut the next week (they apparently have no flexibility on when they can cut, which I understand but find unfortunate). By the time they came again, the lawn was high. I came home to find grass clippings everywhere - covering the lawn and blown all over the flowerbeds. The lawn looked like a bad joke. This was exactly the reason I wanted a new service. I wrote ATD immediately to complain, and to their credit, they replied promptly. But instead of taking responsibility and coming out to clean up the job, they wrote "It has been a full two week of growth and it looks like the lawn was very overgrown. The mowers have a hard time get through the grass when it is tall and there is clumping. It will take a few cuts to get it looking nicer. When the grass along the border edges is overgrown and it is trimmed with the trimmer the grass falls on the mulch." I know the grass was long, but that's not an excuse to leave it looking a complete mess. Clearly ATD does not take pride in its work, which is unfortunate. I told them I would have to cancel service, and I did.

I am very disappointed by the lack of communication and professionalism of this company. I purchased the original deal on March 23rd and I got a response that they could fit me in for the consultation on March 31st. By April 1st, I received the estimated quote for the additional work by email. I signed the paperwork, submitted the extra deposit for the extra work and sent the check and documentation quickly. Then, nothing! I called after about a week to ask whether they received my check and were scheduling my work and received a call back on April 10th that they were scheduling me for April 25/26th. I felt this was a bit late seeing that I purchased the original deal over a month ago and my local landscaper was doing work on the block and could schedule me for the clean up within a week. I obliged since I bought the shrubs/plants and thought they were going to do a good job. The weekend of April 25/26 came and went with not even a phone call from the company. By this time I was frustrated as the yard looked messy, my neighborhood landscaper could come far quicker and the process with ATD was taking longer than usual. I called and left a message and received a call that they would schedule the work for the following Saturday. There was no mention of the fact that they didn't even call to cancel the previous weekend or even let me know that it had been rescheduled. I HAD TO INITIATE ALL COMMUNICATION ONCE I PAID THEM! A few days before the scheduled date, I finally received an email confirmation. The crew arrived and began work. For the most part, the landscapers did a nice job. There were still leaves in my bushes here and there but the beds looked better. They filled about 10+ bags of debris and left them in big Home Depot bags on my curb and left. I guess I should have read my contract better. I really expected them to haul any debris away and cut my lawn as that has been my experience with various landscapers who have done my clean up in the past. I spent almost $1000 on the job and received much more aggravation and frustration then it was worth. I will definitely go with my the landscaper I have used for years. He only charges $495 for a spring clean up and never leaves debris, comes within a week, and always cuts my lawn.

The crew arrived on time, asked where we wanted the mulch spread and went to work. Within 90 minutes they had finished spreading the 50 bags over four plots, cleaned up and were ready to leave. They did a beautiful job. I'd have them back in a minute.

Well done! They took extra care to stand upright, my little garden vases. The little things make a difference to me. Thank you very much. I will hire again.

everything went as it should. I figure I could have paid . I probably would have paid $120 for the mulch at Home Depot. So, the labor of bringing it to the house, carrying it into the back yard, and spreading it, was $65. It only took 3 young men 30 minutes but it would have taken me all day--and a sore back.

Please do not use this provider unless you want a provider that lacks transparency, does not disclose "extra costs", and fails to deliver the product you ordered. Here are the simple facts: I purchased a coupon for $165 on Angie's list for mulch. The coupon stated that there may be extra costs associated with certain colors, and the coupon had no additional information. In an email through Angie's List, I requested BLACK mulch. The provider promptly emailed me back and made an appointment in email,. The provider failed to disclose any extra costs for the black mulch I wanted in email or on the phone. On the day of the service, the workmen showed up on time. I looked out the window about 45 minutes later and noticed that the provider had put BROWN mulch around the yard. I called the provider to complain, and the workmen left my yard with only the partial work completed. My front yard, sadly, looks bad because it is now mismatched. At midnight the same night, the Provider sent me an email through Angie's list that states the extra charge is $2.05 per bag for black mulch. I objected because the Provider had not disclosed the cost prior to the work, the provider did not deliver what I ordered, and the provider now refused to clean up and take out the brown mulch. I now have to pay someone else to fix the Provider's mistake. This project will end up costing me double the coupon. Buyer beware of this provider and "Big Coupons" on Angie's list. Even with everything in writing, you may get screwed.

That went fine. They did good. They were clean, tidy and orderly. Two of them came out and they were very polite.

Very pleased with ATD. They responded immediately to inquiries and quickly scheduled my cleanup. The guys were prompt on the day scheduled and worked hard to make my yard and beds pristine. Highly recommended!

It went very well. They did a very good job with everything. They were very responsive with communications when we were arranging this work, and then they emailed us a few days ahead of time and confirmed what day this would be done, and they did the work the day they said they would. We were very happy with their work and they were very pleasant to work with.

I saw a couple handfuls of weeds near a bed, but I don't know if the beds were weeded as "prep" and the pulled weeds removed from my property or if the weeds remain under the mulch. I don't know what "prep" meant...before the service I had asked that in an email, but that was never clear. The crew finished quickly. The service was okay---good, but didn't impress me as either great or poor. I think it was probably a good value.

It was an Angie's List package deal, plus we had a couple hundred dollars worth of additional flowers planted.

ATD Landscaping did a superior job! I've used many different companies to spread mulch over the years, and ATD Landscaping did the best work ever. The staff who performed the work arrived on time, were exceptionally pleasant, did an extremely careful job, and cleaned up all the empty mulch bags before they left. When this work has been done by other companies in the past, I always found problems after they finished; other companies never took the time and care to spread the mulch thoroughly and evenly around the many, many small shrubs, herbs, and perennials in my numerous large beds. BUT, to my surprise and delight, I found that ATD Landscaping did as careful and thorough a job as I would have done myself. I would use ATD Landscaping again without hesitation. Do yourself a favor and contact ATD Landscaping for your next job.

That was great. That was really good. We moved and it expired but they honored it. They did a lot of extra work. He actually gave me a really fair price for it. We purchased a lot of extra. They were really responsive and their prices were good and the fact that they honored it after it expired.

Their price is unbeatable, they are always on time, very efficient, and friendly.

Scheduling was fine and their initial response was good. They have only come out to give me an estimate so far. They were unable to do the basic landscaping until the other work was done. The deal did not include the preparation of the area. There were other costs associated with the job and I had to put the job on hold. The prepared the estimate, provided it, and followed up once from what I recall. I would have liked to see them be a little more aggressive about following up to see what my needs for the job were as I had already purchased the service through a deal.

The business responded promptly and professionally to the dates/times I provided during the purchase. They showed up right on time and brought all supplies needed to do the planting, mulching and leaf clean up. The landscapers were very personable and professional - they worked tirelessly for most of the day and their work was stellar. My wife was extremely impressed with the cleanliness of the back yard but all aspects of the work was excellent. This is the second time I have used this company and I would definitely consider using them again.

They are very nice and whenever it snows they always call us and say do you need anybody to shovel your driveway.
