The workers were very pleasant and answered all my questions. The 2 guys worked almost 10 hours on my property. I will definitely use them again.

+ 1 moreThe initial communication back to us was a little slow. Work was scheduled after previous bushes were removed and stumps were ground by separate company. Once work was completed, I had call them back to complete the additional work contracted. The crew was responsive and friendly.

While at my house I increased what I wanted. On the scheduled date, they arrived on time, dis the installation very efficiently. The workers were very pleasant and helpful. the flowers and shrubs were good quality.
Description of Work: Purchased a landscaping package of annuals, perennials, and shrubs. They came out to discuss where the plants would go. Then returned about 3 weeks later to do the installation which was included in the price.

+ -1 moreAfter purchasing the Angie"s deal, I received a call from ATD and set up a convenient time to have ATD meet me at the house to pick out the plants and placement of them. That was quick and easy. They offered a selection of perennials and annuals, and she marked their planting locations with stakes. A week or so later, the crew showed up and everything was properly planted and neat. The plants were generally of good quality and ok size. It has been over a month since planting and they are doing well.
Description of Work: I bought a Spring Landscape package for $375, including plans and installation.

+ -1 moreTina came out and gave a great consultation, and helped me pick out 8 shrubs, 6 perennials, and 2 flats of annuals and helped me with the placement around the yard. She staked out where we decided everything would go, and two weeks later (there was a lot of rain so it had to be pushed off a bit) someone came out and planted all of the plants! I would have spent more money if I had purchased all of the plants myself, and it would have taken me hours if not a whole weekend to plant them while they had it done in less than an hour. I was really impressed, and I am hoping they will do another deal like this next year. If you do - please send me an email!! I definetly recommend this deal!

+ -1 moreHalf of the plants they put in have died since then. I called them to ask what was going on. They simply said they would replace the cost so I sort of gave up on it. They did come when they said they would be here. They are not well organized either and the results did not plan out the way I had hoped. They were supposed to put in a 50 foot French drain, and it turned out a disaster. They did not make it wide or deep enough and they did not use the right size rocks. I had to have someone else complete that work.
Description of Work: After I had used them with the big deal, I had bought a lot more plants with them to put around the yard.

+ 1 moreOverall I'm satisfied. The worker was nice (never gave his name) - but did what he could and was very clean in terms of how he left the site. We're pleased.
Description of Work: ATD came out and put down 25 bags of mulch for us with the Angie's Deal. It was one guy who came out late on Friday night (there was some scheduling confusion that was quickly taken care of by Tina) and it took him about 45 minutes. He was clearly rushed, but did the work earnestly - so glad enough. My only disappointment is that they take over 2 weeks to schedule on site estimates which is simply too long when you already have other estimates ready to go and begin work. Unfortunately because they take several weeks for estimates we ended up going with another company for the bulk of our landscaping plan and only used them for the mulch deal. I would try to use them again in the future - if there wasn't a time constraint.

+ 2 moreOnce the service was paid for, ATD responded with a message. It did take them a week to get that first message out, however. It is Spring, so they are undoubtedly busy. There was some confusion about the exact nature of the services requested in ATD's first message (confirming flower bed consultation and planting, rather than simple mulching). Once this was straightened out, there was some back and forth on times and dates, that eventually merged into a promise of service within a date range. Weather delayed the planned spreading, and there was a three-day gap in communication when, no doubt, ATD was very busy catching up on previously scheduled work. The day of the work, ATD called to confirm (with the wrong address thanks to an unchangeable profile at Angie's List...), and was very professional and clean. Well worth the money.

They leave my lawn so neatly trimmed and lovely, it's worth it. They are responsible, professional, pleasant. I have recommended them to neighbors (who now use them) and I highly recommend this company. There is never any pressure to add services, which I appreciate.
Description of Work: This company has professionally cared for my lawn and yard for 2 years now. They do it all: trim bushes away from the house, weeding (by hand if requested), mowing, leaf removal, and fertilizing. They have also provided landscaping advice, giving thoughtful input as to what to plant and where.

A few smaller plants died after this but I did not call them back to replant because it was a dry spell. I was ok with what they did but I do not think I would use them again.

+ -1 moreUp front the provider was professional and responsive. But that decreased by the time the work occurred on May. I asked whether it wasn't too late to seed and was told no so long as i treated the soil properly. But the provider never gave us copy of soil analysis (a $65 charge). I called a few times and when someone finally called back I was told to put lime down but no other information or instruction. By this time it was late June. We had also explained that we wanted the back yard leveled out in a few spots and reseeded. When they did the reseeding, they merely tossed around handfuls of topsoil - nowhere near any amount that would've leveled off uneven patches. The shrubbery part of the "Deal" worked out fine, but the additional work was disappointing.

+ 2 moreFrom the courtesy of Tina in the office, efficiency of bill pay method, the quality of workers who are at our house every week, I cannot say enough good things. They will stop and grant requests when they are here. They call us every snowstorm to see if we need them to shovel. Their prices are very reasonable. My husband will ask them to skip a mowing here and there during dry spells. The owner Anthony is so nice and helpful. We are planning to use them for weed control and fertilizing this year. They are a pleasure to do business with.
Description of Work: Mowed lawn, trimmed beds cleaned driveway and deck every summer for 10 years. leaf clean up in the fall for 5 years. Also had snow removal the year of the blizzards.
