Description of Work: I asked to be contacted about waterproofing our basement. They did respond quickly. However, they said that all decision makers of the home must be present during the inspection. This is a classic sales technique to try and bait the customer into buying services they don't need. I told them I'm the decision maker and my wife would not be involved but they said that can't happen. I told them I was done with this call.

Description of Work: We didn't plan to, but were persuaded that a comprehensive draining/waterproofing was necessary . We are pleased with it and enjoyed working with them.

Description of Work: Value Dry installed large patch on my basement wall to stop water from coming into my basement. Only gave a 5 year warranty on their work, since I would not let them do additional work inside the basement to obtain a life time warranty. Workers were on time and completed task in six hours. Excellent job, very professional. But I still feel that based on material used to do job, price was a little steep for digging a hole and putting a patch on the wall.

Description of Work: Angelo arrived right on time for our appointment. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable and took the time to examine the problem area - both inside and outside and explained what he would recommend and why. He had samples of the materials that would be used and, as far as I was concerned, went above and beyond in answering our questions and explaining the detail. I met with several contractors and after interviewing, I had narrowed it down to Valu Dry and one other company. In the end, I didn't go with Valu Dry due to price. They had a comprehensive plan of action but it was beyond what I was able to spend.

Description of Work: I haven't picked a service provider yet to do my basement waterproofing, but I will compliment them on their estimate and inspection process. Very professional, no pushiness, made me feel like i should consider my options and really think it through. If and when I do my work I will almost certainly hire Value Dry

Description of Work: I contacted the company for a potential issue with my foundation. The customer rep was very courteous and knowledgeable and provided valuable information. He explained to me that although his company could not help With my specific issue he could offer some guidance on where I could go to get my problem addressed. He also did a great job of explaining possible reasons of why I was having issues and was very patient and making sure that I understood. Although I did not use this service I will definitely keep them on file.

Description of Work: They were very professional. The guy looked at my basement and determined I did not need waterproofing services. He suggested a couple of things I could do myself to previous the little bit of water I was experiencing in my basement. I did what he suggested and so far it has remained dry. He did say if it didn't work to call them back and they would make futher rececommendations. I appreicate his honesty. He could have charged me a lot of money and done work that was totally unnecessary (the way another company tried to do). If I ever need someone to evaluate or fix my basement water problem, I will call this company.

Description of Work: I had a 3:00 appointment and they called to say they'd be 30 minutes late. They showed up at 3:51 (21 minutes after when they said they'd show up) and I had to be somewhere soon. When I talked to them about it the guy just made excuses as to why he was late and did not take responsibility for being late. He still offered to look inside, but we declined because we had somewhere to be. Not a good first impression.

Description of Work: Same as other F ratings, the company's refusal to provide the agreed estimate because a spouse is not present is insulting. We are supposed to be the customer, and Value Dry did not treat us as such.

Description of Work: They waterproofed my basement and installed a new sump pump. I think they did an excellent job.
