An excellent experience all around. We had our entire downstairs tile floor replaced with vinyl planking. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and helpful. The estimate was absolutely pressure free. The installation crew was top notch and courteous. When they were done our rooms were as clean as before the job was started. I highly recommend them.

David Harris was extremely helpful with our flooring project. When we started the process we were not sure if we wanted to refinish or replace the flooring in our home. David gave me multiple quotes and was extremely patient while deciding which direction we wanted to go. Ultimately we went with new flooring and couldn’t be happier with the end result. It went great. I have used this company before - David Harris is my "go to" person for all things flooring and tile. I was happy that not only did David agree to do the tile work for my bathroom flooring and shower, he also agreed to provide services for installation of three vanities and installation of plumbing fixtures for three sinks and one shower. (The pros David sent also did some extra plumbing work beyond just normal installation of fixtures; extra carpentry work was also required for vanity installation. I provided cabinets, tops, and plumbing fixtures.) As usual, the experts from Ultimate got the job done and David provided some great ideas about what tile to use and how to make it "all work." I have used Ultimate twice before - and will again! Thank you!

We moved into a new home in the Spring of 2018 that needed new flooring throughout. We visited Ultimate Flooring Design Center a couple of times and worked with Dave. We decided on carpet upstairs and in the basement, and LVT throughout the main level. We also needed our banister's sanded/stained to match new flooring. We were very worried about cost since we just bought a new house, but Dave worked with our budget and made us feel very comfortable with the process. The job took a couple of weeks to complete being the project was huge (5000 sq/ft house). A couple of small issues arose (a damaged tile from COREtec, doors not shutting properly because of high carpet, etc), and Dave and his team fixed everything quickly and with obviously no extra cost. Dave also came out for a final walk-through to make sure everything was satisfactory to our needs. Dave and his company were a pleasure to work with and I've already recommended them to everyone I know needing flooring! Super efficient, professional, and talented.

Took job out on bid and this group was most reasonable. That said, the preparation and work was hardly underpar. I was able to select the style that best suite my room; set up the date of installation and given of estimate for time of completion. My salesman -- Ryan -- was particularly sensitive to my needs helping immensely with the planning and throw in some free advise to clean up stair backflash (which I considered tilling too). The installers -- Juan and Alec -- paid attention to detail in the tile placement and grouting - working from early morning to late evening to complete the task. They cleaned up afterwards each day and were punctual. Not much to complain about here, It's a company I'd use again. Kudos to the staff. Not a bad on in the bunch.

I wanted to update the flooring in my parent's house. The difficult part was getting estimates all remotely (I live in a different state) and trying to get this project off the ground as an educated consumer. I reached out to 5 companies (overdid it a bit) after reviewing over 2k reviews on Angie's list and yelp. I had half a day in Maryland to visit showrooms and select a contractor after receiving updated proposals with new materials chosen. David was the most responsive out of the 5 contractors (and he was one of the highest rated). He even graciously opened the store for me during a holiday even though I told him that was not necessary. I actually would have gone with his company however I made an update last minute regarding the type of material on the stairs after visiting him and didn't want to go back and forth regarding the update as well as make another trip to look at new materials (laziness on my part). David was very professional, easy to work with throughout the 1.5 weeks I was receiving estimates, and very transparent throughout the entire process. His rates were very competitive. First off, I give Dave a lot of patience credit. I kept changing my mind of what I wanted and where and he would oblige me and come out, measure, and give me an estimate. He never rushed me nor pressured me into doing something I wasn't ready for. He also made suggestions about my project that were economical and saved me from doing something completely unnecessary. We had leftover hardwood flooring from the previous owner and wanted to use it instead of trying to store it or sell it. We originally were considering replacing some of the hardwood flooring in our living room since the previous tenants had not taken very good care of it. Dave told us that in all actuality, the floor was in decent condition, maybe just needed some refacing. So I then called him back to come measure and give us an estimate for the kitchen. He did so quickly and broke down everything that was going to cost me. Setting up the job was easy, I gave Dave some dates and he provided which ones would work best. On the actual day of the job, neither my husband or myself were going to be home, so we left a note and the key. I got a call right when they showed up, letting me know they were able to get in and going to get started. Dave called a little while later to ensure the project was going well and to let me know of the status. But 4pm, they were all done, the floor looks amazing, and they blended it seamlessly into the the hardwoods in the living/dinning room. The project was quick, direct, and professional.

David Harris and the team and Ultimate Flooring were a pleasure to work with. David spent the time to come to the house, offer suggestions, help with tile samples - all without rushing us at all. When we selected everything, he scheduled the work quickly - and met exactly the schedule we needed. The work was done extremely well, the installers were very nice and kept the house clean throughout the process. All of the work was completed on time (even finishing late on a Friday evening) and was done professionally. All of this for a price that was lower than several other estimates. We will absolutely use David and UFDC again.

Wonderfully! Professional, punctual service and a great company

Excellent service from beginning to end. Ryan was very helpful in guiding my selections. There was a mix-up with appointment for installation that was handled immediately by the owner. Two teams of workers arrived - one for flooring and one for carpet. The work was done professionally, in a timely manner, and the result is beautiful! The owner even stopped by to check on the work. I highly recommend this company!

From quotation stage through the very end it was an exceptional experience. The material selected was of very good quality. The stair steps have been done with custom solid boards. The installation has been done in three days, with great quality and care to the details. The house has been left clean and some minor touch ups done very well. All in all Dave and his lead hand, Ellis, have demonstrated top professionalism, reliability and desire to exceed our expectations.

I hired Dave to do my floors. He talked me into a nice, new waterproof synthetic wood-look product which is very nice, but not quite as impervious as I had hoped. Knowing what I know now, I wish I'd gone with the real wood since this product scratches too. Overall, however, I'm extremely satisfied with the work. Dave was extremely professional and willing to work around our schedule. He came in on fairly short notice and got the job done while we were out, and the floors look great. He did a laminate in our laundry room too, and he did a great job working around our furnace. Everything looks amazing, and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend his company.

While Dave was great to talk to and responsive, the crew that came out were less than thrilled to complete the work. The kept asking my husband "are you sure you want to do this" and did not seem to know where the carpet was being installed (such as the stairs and landing). One gentleman seemed to be in a rather foul mood the entire time. The project was estimated to start at 8:30-9 and go to about 3/4. They arrived after 9 and didn't leave til just about 5:45-6. One the the transition plats in our bathroom has already popped up (cut my foot on it). I emailed asking if they would come back out to fix it, but I have yet to hear back. I waited a few weeks to see how the work held up, and so far, other than the transition plate, all is well. I really do like the carpet, and working with Dave.

From the quote and measurements to imaterial delivery, installation and post installation follow up, Ryan and the whole team were fantastic. Started on time each day, extremely neat and clean and were polite and professional. Had a couple of follow up items and they were responsive and fixed quickly. As a matter of fact, they wouldn't allow final payment until all the minor items were completed. While not the cheapest quote I received they were by far the most valued given the size and scope of the project. I would highly recommend them for any hardwood flooring or carpet project.

Everyone at the showroom was great in helping us pick a carpet and the installers we're professional and very neat when cleaning up. I'll call again for future flooring.

This company is very professional from the start of communication. The provided a very reasonable quote. We have used them for two of our dental offices in the replacement of flooring with a wood vinyl plank flooring. Quality of work is excellent. Our two office are very happy with their good work. We needed to replace a 30 year old porcelain tile floor which began squeaking. The tile itself was not cracked, but we knew that the problem was in the subfloor. There were 2 layers of luan subfloor over a vinyl floor. This was not an approved subfloor to install over, but what had been done 30 years ago. The flooring was in our foyer, adjoining hallway, mudroom, powder room and kitchen. It was a huge job. We worked with David (President of the company) from beginning to end. He answered all questions concerning demo and installation including our concerns about caring for our existing cherry cabinets, appliances and hardwood floors that joined into the area. His whole crew took great care with our home and upon finishing the job, you didn't even know they were there. I have to say that everything David promised was delivered and then some! The job took a bit longer than originally estimated due to the fact that there were so many nails that were used to secure the old subfloors which took much longer to remove along with the flooring. We decided to use a Schluter Ditra underlayment so that our existing hardwood floors would match up flush with the tile as they were before instead of a cement backerboard. No transition strips. We just love our new porcelain tile floors and no squeaks and a much more solid feel than our old floor. I did not mind that it took a couple of days longer than estimated. No need to rush as I would rather have the work done correctly. I had several other estimates which were much higher in cost and I felt did not address all the small details. David and his crew were very professional from start to finish. I would definitely recommend and use this company again.
