Bartlett Tree Service

I would highly recommend them, I'm using them for decades and they are excellent.

I have a crabapple tree in the front yard and it's what keeps me living here! Really! Josh Nadler from Bartlett has been managing it's care. And it’s looking better than it has in years. I know we have a postage stamp size of a contract with Bartlett compared to other homes and businesses in this area, but this small tree is a big happiness in my life. And, Josh and Bartlett treat me and the tree like their #1 customer. Actually, I'm going to have Josh manage the care of some of the other shrubs in our yard now. Price reflects annual cost, not cost per treatment.

It went very well. Joshua and his crew are professionals. The work was done efficiently, and they cleaned up afterwards. We are "garden and tree people." So, we also like the fact that they don't recommend taking down a tree just to make a buck--they seem to really care about maintaining healthy trees, and will recommend preventive measures to help keep trees healthy. I will continue to recommend them to neighbors in our community.

It went extremely well. Josh came out soon after I called and we walked through the work that needed to be done. He provided an estimate promptly. Once we signed a contract, the staff came on the day promised and in the timeslot given. They were professional, worked quickly and cleaned up all limbs and debris before leaving. They did the work exactly as agreed upon.

These guys are awesome. I used Ballard Tree removal previously and it took them nearly over a month to complete the work. Bartlett was out the same day for an estimation and removed the tree the next day! They are extremely professional, punctual and knowledgable. We have a lot of trees on our property and during the estimation, the gentlemen gave me some free advice on some issues I hadn't previously realized with other trees and how to fix them on my own. He didn't try to up-sell and did a great job on removing the tree. They even cut back a lot of branches on other trees that the fallen tree hit. You would never know by looking at it now that the tree did a lot of damage to my yard. I can't recommend these guys enough!

Many of the trees in my yard were either sickly or damaged due to the harsh winter. An Arborist along with two workers arrived at 0830 to work for the day. The initial person who had done the estimate of the job also arrived and they walked to property discussing the job and reviewed what needed to be done. They worked on the entire property and removed dead trees and limbs of numerous trees and also thinned out extremely tall pine trees that required high ladders to do the job. All debris was removed and/or mulched. They were extremely helpful to identifying various plants and trees. The Arborist was also a Master Gardener and planning to use his services in preparing for winter. I appreciated that they estimated and handled the job without inflating the cost of the service since I was told to expect a much higher cost by a local landscaping service.

They’ve always been great with us. We’ve used them a lot through the years. They’re just very knowledgeable and professional. Their service and clean up are spectacular. They’re always very good at cleaning up all the tree limbs and any of the debris that they bring on. That doesn’t leave us with any work. We get what we pay for. We would surely use them again in the future.

Bartlett was exceptional. On time and worked around our holiday schedule. Provided an excellent rate for the services they quoted. Showed up on time and were very friendly and knowledgeable. Walk around and quote was originally done by Bartlett account manager. Then a team came out to provide the services contracted. During the walk around, I was able to learn a lot and ask a ton of questions about the trees on and near my lot that could impact my house and property. The Account Manager was extremely knowledgeable and very open in sharing this information. I have gotten other quotes in the past and while I have found providers who are less expensive - they don't show up or have done very poor work. We can't risk that when our house and the trees on our property are at stake.

I can't say enough about the quality, care and expertise. They are a truly great company to work with. They are timely and professional. Our project was very involved and they were able to handle all of it. When they removed the dying ash tree that had large set of roots that were coming out of the ground, they ground the stump then they hand dug up all the roots as to not hurt power lines and irrigation system. They were very good at identifying the more desirable trees around our property. I am extremely happy with them! Their clean up matched the quality of actual work. You couldn't even tell that work had been done once they finished. While this was being done and just after it had been completed some of our neighbors complimented us on the quality of work. One neighbor asked for contact information.

Our advisor was Marty who was prompt and very knowledgeable. Work performed was prompt, communication for when work would be performed was also great. All work was excellent. Marty's expertise was greatly appreciated. Would definitely use them again.

I have used Bartlett several times over the years. They are unbelievable educational and professional. They are honest and candid about what types of service they should do versus another company that may be able to provide service at a lower cost, because the work does not need the expertise of Bartlett. I would only ever use Bartlett.

They always do a good job, and I like the crew. They always give free consultations and advice, and there services even extend to pest removal and maintenance. They've had the same crew for years, which is rare, and I suppose it means they take good care of them. For the stuff that really matters, they are the ones to go to.

They come and trim out pear tree and also put metal bands that holds the limbs together. They really know trees and are super tree experts. They are also good at saving trees, when other companies just want to cut them down. I have had a lot of different arborist from their company who I have dealt with. They also clean everything up; you would never knew they were here! They also don’t do anything to tear up your yard either.

They did work for us early last spring. It turned out fine. They came out and fertilized around a couple of old tall trees and made sure they were not diseased. I needed Bartlett Tree Experts help. The one arborist came out originally looked at the trees and let me know that they needed to do. He took care of that for me. I was not here when they did the fertilization. I trusted them and it worked out fine. Every once in a while I get a calls and emails from them following up. Bartlett Tree Experts are very nice, understanding and supportive. His secretary was also very nice. If he was not there and I had to leave a message they would get back to me right away, I was very impressed with them. I felt safe after they did the fertilization and they really put my mind at ease.

I have dealt with Bartlett for several years now. They are always very professional, friendly and the quality of work can not be beat. They did a great job on pruning the dead out of several trees and was sure to clean up the work areas before they left. There were 2 gentleman during the work....started at 9am and finished around 2pm working non-stop.

I will not be able to tell how well their work is until the spring time, but they seemed very capable, competent, and experienced. I will shop around for estimates next time.

The whole process went extremely well. We did not obtain several quotes for the work, so we can't say whether someone else might have done it more cheaply. That's why we rated Price "Good" rather than "Excellent." (We didn't have comparison data.) We were also less concerned about cost than whether the job was done safely and efficiently by a good crew with the right equipment. We checked other Angie's List recommendations but couldn't find mention of other companies that had worked on trees of this size. Most involved much smaller ornamental trees. Our trees were located near electrical and telecommunications boxes, as well as near a fire suppression system. They were close to the street, which is fairly narrow and the only entrance/exit for homes nearby. (Minimizing inconvenience to our neighbors was a big consideration.) Paul Foster was very responsive to our initial call, came out and reviewed the site, and provided us a detailed quote very quickly. He was very thorough and professional in our discussions with him of the work required, what would be involved, and the timing. He was also very responsive to follow-up calls when we had additional questions. The crew who came out the day the work was done were on time, polite, and extremely efficient and professional. All the work was done in one day, including cutting up the large trunks and disposing of all wood and wood shavings. We were extremely satisfied and would contract with Bartlett and Paul Foster again.

Professionally done and completed as promised in response to proposal. I was very satisfied with the job performance. I would recommend Bartlett to anyone who wants a professionally conducted and completed job when dealing with trees that are key to homestead landscape.

They were great. The first time they come out, they just give you the estimate and tell you what needs to be done. They came back much later to begin the job than I was hoping for, and I had to call them to see when they were coming. They did a good job of hauling everything out of my yard.

We used them this year. I would give them top marks as they do a really good job. They give us a senior discount.

Excellent. They sent an arborist out to see the nature of damage done to the trees. One tree was severely damaged and the other two had injury. We set up an appointment for repair and fertilizing to help with the stress. They arrived promptly, did great work, and I will hire them in the future.

I have had bushes removed and a huge willow oak they trim. They give my trees a good pruning. They are very informative. They are good, polite, courteous, and punctual. They are there when they say they will be. They clean up all the debris after completed.
