We have been putting off replacing our 20 year old water heater. I contacted Jim @ Shore Thing Plumbing sent him a couple of photos of our current water heater. He called me back in just a little bit of time with the price to replace it, he put us on his schedule for 8:30 AM. That morning Jim pulled into our driveway at 8:30 ready to get the job done. There were no multiple trips to a supply house for parts or supplies. He was very attentive to our property and made prompt cleanup of spilled water and cleaned up as he went ago. He made fast work of replacing the heater he then removed the old water heater and all materials that he removed to place the new one in. Jim was the first person that contacted us after my wife made her request online for a plumber that could assess our situation with a gas water heater. We did not immediately get back with Jim but he was patient and when we finally made the call he arrived exactly when he said that he would. And very quickly showed us that we were fortunate enough to have avoided a potential disaster. The burner at one point had overheated to the point of melting through the plastic overflow pan and through the vinyl flooring to the subfloor plywood. From arriving to the house for the first time including a trip to the supplier Jim had a new, better upgraded gas water heater installed and working in 2 1/2 hours. Jim came in on short notice on a little project for us. He was able to secure materials and fixtures quickly and adhere to our already expedited schedule. He installed a hose bib, outdoor sink and did some gas work for our grill. Work looked fantastic and everything works as we intended.
