Lynch Plumbing is now, and always will be, our first call for any plumbing-related issues in our home. We've been using Jerry's services for years and he has always been prompt, honest, professional and offered high-quality service at a competitive rate. Jerry is not just about getting a job done, but is about doing it right. I don't know if he takes time off, as he's researched info and been back to us well after normal business hours to help us as quickly as possible. He has spent time on the phone with me when I have had questions about an issue that was water related (water filter) but not truly a plumbing issue. He talked me through some trouble shooting, and let me know while it wasn't something a plumber would normally handle, I should call the water filter company for service. He didn't leave it there, he called back a few days later to check in on the issue and make sure everything worked out. I can't recommend Jerry and Lynch Plumbing highly enough for all of your needs.

Great! Called on a Friday and they came in and fixed the problem on Monday. They had to dig a large hole in the dirt driveway to get to the pipe. They filled in the hole well and leveled it back out. Jerry was very nice and explained everything in detail about the project.

What I love most about Jerry's work is that he not only clearly explains what he did, in terms a regular ol' gal can understand, but he will also explain to you how or why something like that would happen. In this town it's really hard to just get someone to show up to do the work. Jerry and his crew show up, usually faster that we could ever hope for, and they get the job done and let us know exactly what they did. In the world of vacation rentals, your customers have paid a lot of money for this vacation property and they aren't always patient for things to get repaired; Jerry gets it done fast! A lot of times companies here will complete the work and then they're gone. You never know what exactly they did until you get the invoice. In our line of work, our property owners want to know right away what the issue was, and we don't have to worry about not knowing because Jerry always gives us the details. I never worry that a job is left incomplete or not correctly repaired. He knows his stuff.
Description of Work: I work for a rental agency/property manager in Ocean City, MD. We have been using Jerry at Lynch Plumbing for several months now for everything (sinks, toilets, water heaters, whatever we throw at him). We were growing increasingly frustrated with our previous plumbing company and are pleased we made the switch.

Mr. Lynch was quick to service our rental property in Ocean Pines. We called when our tenant alerted us of an issue and he responded fast and addressed our the problem immediately which turned out to be a frozen pipe with water in the walls and crawlspace. We have used Lynch Plumbing for our personal and rental properties for a few years now and couldn't be happier with the service he provides for us.

Mr. Lynch was very rude and arrogant the entire time he worked on our hot water heater in a rental property. From making condescending remarks about us using such a small tank to not explaining what was done at the time of payment. When he called for payment (after dealing primarily with my tenant, and not myself) he told my husband "it'll be on the invoice" several times instead of explaining what work we did before taking our credit card over the phone. I would not recommend this man to anyone.

Response from Lynch Plumbing, LLC
In response to this customers review, I find it very odd after we did everything we could to assist this customer. We squeezed them in to fix this problem on a very busy scheduled work day. We went to repair this problem by a normal diagnostic check. We found their was a bad element. We replaced waited awhile to feel for the water to get warm and left. This is what we do for all water heater install and repairs. We do not feel we should wait around for an hour and charge the customer to wait till the entire tank to heat. So not to mention the water was only luke warm from arrival and the tenant said that is all it had been since she had moved in the previous Saturday. To get to the water heater we had to take apart the counter and cabinets for excess. The bill came to $242.50 parts and material for 4 hours spent on job. Called for payment and it seemed they were not happy that with the price but we unfortunately have to charge for our time. I explained what was done and thanked the man for his business and said if their is any problem in future please call us for the job, I also had mentioned to him that we had found black mold everywhere from where the counter top was not installed right being . The next morning I answer the office phone in the morning and it was this lady going completely crazy how the water was hot but ran out after 8 minutes and she just wanted to hire someone else insinuating we were just trying to charge her money for not completing the job. After I calmed her down I explained to her in depth what was done and that sometimes things like this happen on a old water heater when trying to repair. She was bent on arguing with me on these issues that we deal with every day as if I was making them up. We returned and squeezed them in later that day as I repeatedly told her we want to get this problem fixed for her and that we would. So we found that what we originally did worked but in that process another component had malfunctioned witch is very common. So we replaced the thermostat. While my helper had started to work I was talking with the tenant who started to tell me how this lady was bipolar and was crazy. So I did not think much of it because we all have our problems but because this lady was so rude when I told the tenant to tell her never to call us again. The problem was fixed at no added cost to the unhappy customer and we left. The typical cost for a replacement element $150 per element and $150 per thermostat with excess to unit. We have a lot of great customers that we value and we do everything we can to give a fair price for work done. But we always get a couple people that think they are not supposed to pay what everyone else does. In this town you are lucky if you can get a contractor to come right back out . Bottom line is I would not recommend these people as a customer to anyone.

We drove here from Pittsburgh, turned on the water to our house, and heard a sound as if a hose had been turned on in the second story wall. A water leak came through the ceiling. We shut off the water main supply. The next morning I obtained Jerry Lynch's number from Angie's list. Jerry and his partner came later that morning, removed the cover of the supply access behind the upstairs bath, and saw a broken elbow on a hot water supply pipe. They replaced the elbow and tested the rest of the lines, which were sound. They were pleasant and professional and we give them a gold star.

Owner Jerry Lynch came over the day I called. Tried to repair existing water heater, determined it could not be fixed. Called several suppliers until he found one that had a replacement in stock. Came back and replaced it the same day. Very professional, courteous and caring. Would definately use again.

Water heater rusted out on the bottom and started leaking water. I called several different plumbers in the area. A few I had to leave a message and a few were way overpriced. When I called Lynch plumbing they were very friendly and responsive from the first phone call. We scheduled the work and they showed up on time. I would highly recommend Lynch plumbing for any plumbing issues you run across! I don't know exactly how long it took, but it seemed like they were there, removed the old water heater and installed the new one in about an hour! Very good work.
Description of Work: They gave us an excellent deal on a 50 Gallon Water Heater.
