After two back to back, and VERY stressful insurance claims, both of which we had the pleasure to work with Modern Remodeling, the bulk of our stress and frustration came from the insurance side. For a total of about 7 months, Modern Remodeling worked with us diligently to handle every roadblock and negotiation between our insurance adjuster and our claims. I cannot thank Modern Remodeling enough for their help and especially their relentless determination when dealing with our adjuster and insurance company. At the end, our claims were seen through to the end, all issues and repairs were made in full and some even more than we'd expected, and the quality of the work was upheld to our satisfaction. There were a few hiccups that popped up, but even those Modern Remodeling was quick to return and evaluate the problems, as well as scheduling to get them fixed asap. Thank you so much Modern Remodeling, I have you guys on speed dial for all of our future house work endeavors! Even if we switch insurance companies and god forbid have anything else happen, you have a customer for life, I will be seeking you all out!

This was my second roof replacement with Modern Remodeling and it was perfect. I wanted the job done properly so I used them a second time.

Modern Remodeling was great from the initial inspection, helping with the insurance process, documenting damage, and delivering on a high-quality product. We had roof damage and Modern came out, documented it with pictures, measurements and a full report to share with the insurance company who came out and validated it. There were no issues in proving that our roof had wind damage and needed replacement immediately. The roof material is high-quality and looks great. The install team was very fast and did an amazing job with clean up and overall professionalism. I'd highly recommend Modern for your roofing needs.

I had a wonderful experience with Modern Remodeling Maryland. I needed a new roof and inside ceiling repairs. Ashley and her office staff were Awesome. They handled filing my insurance claims and everything else. From the beginning they were very professional and polite. The crew they sent were experienced and friendly. The job they completed was excellent. I will absolutely refer friends to use this company and if I ever need another job completed I will definitely use Modern Remodeling Maryland. I am Extremely satisfied.

Worked closely with Keila D and she worked diligently with my insurance company to get every penny needed for the roof replacement after a storm caused wind damage earlier on. The whole process was seamless. Keila walked me through everything and explained each step of the way. On the day of installation, they arrived early and were completed by 4 pm. They cleaned up everything after the process. If I have another issue, I'll definitely use Modern Remodeling in the future.

Modern Remodeling did a fantastic job installing our new roof. We had wind damage from several storms over the winter period. Modern came out and inspected our roof, made temporary patches with tarps and inspected interior rooms. They did all of the leg work getting the entire roof replaced through my insurance! Chris H was super professional, helpful and responsive to all questions from both insurance and myself. We will definitely be using Modern Remodeling again, and have already recommended them to our neighbors.

Modern was amazing. They worked tirelessly with our insurance company over several months to make sure the roof received the attention it needed. They were able to get the insurance company to pay for the roof. The people that we worked with were amazing and knowledgeable. They kept us up to date every step of the way. When the roof was finally approved by the insurance company they were out within two weeks to have the roof replaced. The workers that replaced the roof did a great job and it looks beautiful. I would chose Modern 100% of the time and would choose them again.

The whole process was excellent. Carmine explained everything well and made things easy. The day of the roof replacement went well and everyone was professional.

In 2014 Modern Remodeling Inc of Maryland helped us through a roof replacement following hail damage that was very professionally handled and completed to our complete satisfaction. The entire process including insurance claim, estimate, material selection, scheduling was prompt, friendly, professional and helpful. Fast forward to 2021 we saw a small wet spot on the ceiling which increased slowly after heavy rain. A phone call to Modern Remodelers resulted in a prompt and professional response from the office manager. A service visit was scheduled as quickly as possible due to weather (snow and ice). The "trouble spot" on the roof was located by the service manager and corrected in a timely manner. Excellent sales, installation and most important after sales service all round. Highly recommend Modern Remodeling for your project.

Completed a full outside remodeling of our house with Modern under the guidance and support of Carmine. He was there every step of the way. He helped with everything from working with the insurance company to driving around and looking at possible colors for our project. He was professional, patient, and friendly during the renovation. He also coordinated and monitored the progress of the 3 different teams we had work on our house, The roofers, the siding team and the gutter installers all were competent, professional and did quality work while keeping the area around our house clear of trash. We love the new look of our house and would highly recommend Modern to our family and friends.

Carmine past my neighbor's house and noticed shingles missing. He just wanted to point them out to the owner. Short story, he wound up getting his roof replaced by Modern. After speaking to my neighbor I decided to get an inspection of my roof. My house was built in 2003 and the roof is original. Indeed I had damage as well and Carmine worked with my insurance to get most of the cost covered for a replacement. Very happy with the work and service. The roof was completed in one day and clean up was pretty good. A few nails will be found here and there. Maybe a stray piece of plastic but I expected that. All in all I would contact Modern again. I rarely look at my roof, but now I do. Love the color and work!

We couldn’t ask for a better job and outcome. We had wind and hail damage to our roof as well as ice damage to a gutter and interior so we had quite a list to get approved by our home owners insurance. Kurt, our project manager, took care of all the details working with our insurance company, including having the owner keep after them and go to bat with them so that they gave us everything we were entitled to under our coverage. We never could have done this on our own and probably would have just given in to the insurance company and just take what they wanted to give us. They got them to pay for almost 90% of the cost as well as doing a clean outstanding job on the roof as well as the interior work. The roof looks wonderful just in time for the winter weather. We would definitely use them for other home issues and highly recommend both Kurt and this company.

We had an excellent experience with a roof replacement by Modern Remodeling. Zach inspected our roof and talked extensively with us about the issues he found. He worked with us through our insurance claim and gave us a detailed overview of the contract and materials. All of our questions were answered with knowledge and professionalism. His team completed the job as promised within a day and cleaned up after themselves. Zach made a final visit to inspect the finished product and to make sure that we were satisfied. Highly recommended!

After noticing a leak on the ceiling in one of the bathrooms, I called Modern Remodeling and they quickly came out to do an inspection. After confirming my fears that the roof had a leak (and some pretty obvious wind damage), they coordinated with my insurance company to replace the roof. The process was painless, everyone was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive, and they worked with me to get the installation done quickly on a tight timeline (since I was also in the process of selling the home). My neighbors commented on how nice/thorough the roofers were and we agreed that they did quality work. I highly recommend them!

Mike was fantastic to work with! He was always available to answer questions and was there to check on the install and walked the job with us after to ensure we were happy. Great company and would recommend to anyone.

Went very well. Mike met with the insurance adjuster and they inspected house together. New roof and siding look great. Installers came when scheduled and cleaned up when work was completed. Mike checked in several times during and after work was completed to ensure I was satisfied. I am very happy with the entire process.

We cannot speak more highly of this company. Everyone we have met so far has been so understanding and so patient with us. This is a stressful situation for my family and I don't know what we would do without Modern.

After speaking with my insurance, it would have cost me too much since the damage was under my deductible. I got this company off of Angie's List and I explained the situation. They sent out Jason and he reattached the spout to my house for free. It was such a nice service.

Our siding was older and we wanted to have it replaced with vinyl. On a recommendation from our neighbor, we called Modern. They're a bit pricey but the quality is great and they're easy to work with. In the end, I didn't mind paying a bit more for better service. Love the new look of our house.

Modern canvassed our neighborhood after a big hail storm. RG was knowledgeable and responsive. We upgraded our shingle and are very pleased with the result. Would recommend to anyone.
