My wife and I were first-time home buyers. We met with Al Friedman and his staff in April, and left our initial meeting feeling at ease. His professionalism and hand-holding throughout the process of searching for the home was amazing. It's an extremely stressful thing - buying a 1st home - but he and his staff were always there for us. My wife and I (in comparison to other people) didn't spend a lot of money on our home, but he treated us like we were multi-millionnaires buying a $10 million estate. Christy and Tonya - who work with Mr. Friedman - are first class people and I would trust nobody else to handle a home purchase besides Al Friedman. Christy Craven. and Tonya Trapani. I actually referred a co-worker of mine to Al Friedman, even before I had found my own home. Thank you Al, Christy, and Tonya!

Mr. Robier was extremely unprofessional. He was supposed to meet us at our hotel at a specific time to start going to apartment showings. For some reason he did not have our cell phone number and could not find directions to the hotel, so he missed the appointment. When we checked our email about fifteen minutes after he was supposed to be there, we saw that he did not have our cell phone number -- he had emailed us about two hours prior to the appointment to get it. (We're not sure why he didn't ask for our contact information well before the appointment.) When we called him back -- again, about 15 minutes after he was supposed to meet us -- he was extremely rude. He refused to meet us for any appointments that day because we "missed our appointment," even though we were staying an extra night in Baltimore specifically to meet with him and could have conceivably made it to showings later that afternoon. I don't know if Mr. Robier is an accurate representation of Long and Foster, but if he is I'd stay away. One of the main points of using a realtor is making your life easier -- Mr. Robier couldn't even handle being civil on the phone.

I highly recommend David Ostrowski as a realtor: 410-931-6300, cell 443-421-4736. He treated us like we were buying and selling a million dollar home even though we bought and sold in the under 200k market. David provided a stager free of cost to us to help us stage our house for sale. He was incredibly accessable at just about any time of day or evening. He checked in with us frequently and made sure we understood each step as we took it. In a terrible housing market we sold our house in about 45 days for more than we ever thought we would get. I don't think we could have done that without David. Because he was going to be the realtor in the sale of our home and purchase of our new home he only charged us 5%. I was quoted 6-7% by his competitors wouldn't have offered nearly as much as he did. As a housewarming gift he paid for a cleaning person to come to our new home for the day and has checked in with us a couple times to see how we like the new house. I will recommend him to everyone I know.

Everything is excellent! I have no complaints with them.
