There was a part at top of the banister that they never came back to fix, where they'd put a non-matching putty in the wood. I've got cracks forming between the boards already, in all 3 rooms where they installed work and the rooms where they laid the floor. People have tripped over it. The subcontractor came back to look and said it was due to keeping my house cold. He offered to fill it in with putty and put stain on top of it, but I don't believe that will fix the problem. The contractor has said he'll come out to check on it, but he's rescheduled twice due to the weather. I paid the subcontractor (Orlando Romero 240-388-7349) $3300 for the staining. I paid $4900 to the main contractor (Jiro Barrera, 703-928-5091). I want them to replace it.

The workers worked did a great job; were diligent and focused on the job and did not take any breaks other than lunch
