Parts were covered under warranty but technician advised my cost would be $1,300 due to the extent of labor required. The work was actually completed in less than 3 hrs. I contacted the tech and the company for an explanation of the excessive charge for labor with no response from either.

They came twice a year to service the system. The system kept losing freon and they were unable to correct or did not feel it necessary to find the root of the problem. . When my new service company came the found the root problem and corrected it on their first visit..

They were very professional and showed up on time. They completed the work within an hour. They were responsive and did a really good job! I would recommend their services to anyone.

First given estimate of $770, which was OK'd. Work promptly performed. Entire service call took 30 minutes. Subsequently learned that the motor was available for about $100 retail. Multiple attempts to contact Family Air (email, phone) to discuss reasons for possibly error in the price for service were never responded to/ignored. In reviewing records of my past experiences with this company, showed they replaced a part, then under warranty. Was told the part would have cost $550, otherwise. Still cost me about $800 in labor/diagnostic fees. Later learned the the actual cost of the part was about $10. All this is in contrast to earlier experiences with this company. They installed our heat pump, about 7 years ago, at a reasonable price. I'm not sure what may have changed at their company to elicit such unacceptable behavior.
