The Home Wise Pros Roofing

After an initial communication hiccup involving an Angie's List big deal, the maintenance services were performed on our house this morning and we are extremely pleased. Jay Gleason arrived earlier than we originally thought he could get here because of the potential rain this afternoon and did a thorough and professional inspection and maintenance of the roof. He took high quality photos to show us what is going on up there and made good recommendations and provided a clear and thorough explanation. We would work with his company again and would recommend him.

First of all I had two people tell me about my roof prior to contacting the Home Wise Pros. One person was solicited the other was unsolicited and just happen to be on my roof on a technicality (He was a pest control inspector) but they both gave there suggestions on what I should do about my roof. I decided to do some research on roofing companies because the roofs problems began to show their face on my living room ceiling. I chose Home Wise Pros because their customer ratings were excellent and I found Mr. James Gleason to be very professional and knowledgeable. My appointment day began with a rainy cloud hanging over it. I nor the Home Wise Pros team were sure if August 10th would be roof day. The workers showed up bright and early at 6:30 am on appointment day even though it was raining and the clouds looked as if they were there to stay. Mr Gleason called to let me know the workers were outside and that they would stay until 9 am to see if the rain passes. If it did not then they would reschedule. Well the rain stopped and the clouds passed and the Home Wise Pros team went straight to work. I would say they began between 8 and 9 am and they finished around 4:30 pm. They took pictures throughout each and every stage of the job even labeling and circling the water damaged pieces of wood that needed to be replaced. All of the workers were professional and showed a great amount of patience as my family members came and went throughout the day. When they were done they cleaned up everything and left just as quietly as they had come. Two days later I recieved a portfolio of pictures via email for my records. The roof looks great. No more water problems. The Home Wise Pros Team did a fantastic job.

We paid Angies List on 7/30/2012 and contacted Home Wise.Home wise said they received alot of business from their Big Deal and would do the work when they had time.We requested an approximate date so we could be home.We were told we didn't need to be home when they came.They never called or performed the work, even though we pre-paid for their service.

Unfortunately I discovered the hole after the Derecho when many people's roofs were badly damaged. Since our roof repair was relatively small, this made us extremely low on the priority list of everyone we contacted including the Homewise Pros. While Jay was initially responsive I had to follow-up with him several times to get the estimate and then several times after that to get someone to come out and do the work. He did follow-up with me to ensure the work was done to my satisfaction and to answer any questions. Since the quality of the work and the price were so good I felt compelled to give an A as an overall score but hope once the rush is over they can do better in following up with all potential clients no matter how small the job. I would recommend them to anyone needing a new roof or roof repair.

A sincere thanks to Jay who believes in providing quality service, workmanship, and products at a fair price, with no high pressure sales! I have been in my happy home for about 3.5 yrs now and am slowly fixing up things that need attention. My original task this year was insulation. After some gutter work in spring, that company pointed out a couple soft areas on the roof. I inspected the attic to find some deck roofing material rotted through and areas with water staining. My new task became getting the roof fixed. I then researched roof repairs vs. replacement, materials, etc. Contacted Jay on/about end of May 2012. Jay was very responsive to my initial call to schedule a meeting/look at house. His two staffers showed up promptly on 5 June 2012; accessed roof and took pictures. I received a call from Jay w/in a day or two and we scheduled a date to review pictures, issues and recommendations. On that date, i also inquired about two additional estimates for insulation and recaulking of chimney. On that date, i received a rough estimate (that was pretty close to the actual final cost). I had checked out other contractors, reviews, products, etc. After meeting w/one contractor (not on Angie's List) that left me shaking my head and frustrated. I immediately returned to Angie's and checked out Home Wise Pros again and saw new rave reviews. The decision was obvious. Jay & I spoke the next day to schedule final meeting at which i would select shingles, get final cost estimate, and provide deposit (10% of total). Roofing/recaulking scheduled for 19 Jul 2012; roofing materials delivered day before. I elected not to be home when the work was done. Workers arrived in morning and Jay provided me updates throughout the day on status of the work. By 2pm, they were cleaning up. Work done bout 3pm. That evening, we got a torrential downpour. I looked forward to checking out the work. In the attic, everything looked wonderful, and then i encountered a leak around a vent pipe and its aluminum housing. I took measures to minimize issue and contacted Jay. He was VERY prompt in returning my call, very apologetic, and the next morning Jay and crew arrived to inspect and immediately begin repairs. Issue was around the vent/aluminum housing that was original to the house. I had also pointed out that i had forgotten to ask them to remove the old attic fan (non-functional since i moved in and a source for water dripping); I inquired if they could remove the fan (2'x2' arear or so) and finish the roof and i'd be willing to pay for the additional work. Old fan was about 3 feet from the problem vent pipe. Work was completed and no additional cost for the fan removal/finishing of roof. Jay told me to continue to keep an eye on the vent housing area just in case. ALSO - while additional work was being done on 20th, we reviewed pictures of the work done on 19th. Great documentation. On 25 Jul 12, I had the insulation work completed. I was at home during the work. Staffers were on time, lined the inside stairs/hallway w/tarps, worked efficiently/cleanly, had me take a look at the work, and then cleaned up/vacuumed and w/in 4 hours all work was done. On 26 Jul 12, another heavy rain in evening....checked the attic, and a small drip by the vent/aluminum housing. I took measures to address the drip. I then contacted Jay again and let him know the not so good news. The next day, 27 Jul 2012, Jay and crew were back at my house late afternoon (after they finished an earlier roofing job). I told jay that the old vent/housing was older and I told him that I would welcome recommendations for repairs to the housing itself (vs leaving old housing/vent pipe) and of course, i was willing to pay for the work. I was at work so Jay & I kept in touch. About 6p or so - i get a final update - they built me a new housing for the vent pipe and sent me a picture. No additional charge for the pipe housing work. 28 Jul 12 - Looking forward to the next rain. Thanks to Jay for the attention to detail and belief in doing a job right. It has been a pleasure working with Home Wise Pros. Jay's staff has been prompt, courteous, and in speaking with them as well as seeing how they operate, also take pride in their work. It has been a wonderful, refreshing experience and i will definitely look to use Home Wise Pros again for other projects!!

Angies list supplied several companies on the A rated list,we selected The Home Wise Pros because the owner of the firm himself promptly came to inspect the job and presented a competitive bid comparisons with his competitor ,warranties ,licensees and the presentation was complete, professional and very well organized, documented with pictures on a computer the condition of the roof and how they would proceed,if they were chosen to do the roof for us.the work was also guarantied for 5 years. The communication,very thorough explanation and finishing the job in one day with full concentration on our house made it a fairly easy decision. Another positive aspect was that Mr Gleason spends time on the job and with his crew making sure all goes well, Mr Glisson and his very good hardworking and polite crew executed all as promised ,took lots of pictures, cleaned up and used a large magnet to retrieve old nails .

Great experience. Jay answered the phone on a Sunday evening when I was expecting to leave message. He gave me some advice on how to fix the roof at no cost first, but when that didn't work, I called him back. It was definitely worth a try, and I appreciate his advice and honesty. Though he had a 1-2 week backup, he had someone in my area so squeezed me in. I wasn't even home to meet up with them. They assessed the problem on their own from the exterior of the house, fixed it that same visit, and charged right on the bottom of the range of the estimate that I was given. A day or two later I was emailed before/after pictures, and I got a follow up phone call to make sure everything was ok. The service was great, and I'm convinced the problem is fixed (though it hasn't rained yet). I'd recommend the home wise pros, and call them again if I have to.

There really isn't another roofing company out there that can compare to Homewise Pros. The owner Jay Gleason is completely hands on and makes sure things go smoothly from the initial contact until the final clean-up. Despite being swamped Jay made a concerted effort to get to my house because a tree had gone through my roof during the July 5th storm that hit our area. I secured three estimates because I would be dealing with insurance and wanted to make sure I covered my bases. As luck would have it Jay happened to show up at the same time as the insurance rep who was finishing up his assessment. He decided to go up on the roof to listen to Jay's take on the damages and costs involved. When the insurance guy mentioned having to get his independent contractor out to do exact measurements Jay pulled out his iPad and gave the insurance guy the measurements as taken by a satellite service he uses ? emailed it to him right there on the roof and when I talked to the assessor later in the day he had decided to go with all of Jay's recommendations. According to him Jay was one of the most honest and sharp contractors he had ever dealt with. Jay sped up the insurance process by almost two weeks. Unlike many people who battled their insurance companies after the storm we were able to get almost 90% of the repairs covered per Jay's explanation to the insurance rep. The only thing they didn't cover was the replacement of the sheathing because it was 40 years old and rotted which had nothing to do with the storm. Jay kept in contact with us right up until the install. He informed us completely as to what the job entailed and let us know ahead of time about getting pets out of the house and informing neighbors about parking. Every detail was covered. I was shocked to see a large, well organized crew show up at 6:30am just as promised. Within minutes they had begun work taking every precaution to make sure the house, lawn and shrubs were protected with tarps before they started. He even leaned sheets of plywood up against the garage door to protect it in case any debris from the roof were to blow back as they threw things down to the trailer.This job was a tough job ? huge roof with two layers of old shingles plus every single piece of plywood had to be removed and a new one nailed down in it's place. The crew worked tirelessly all day long and into the night to make sure it was done in one day. They pulled out of the driveway at 9:30pm and you would never have known they were there. They ran huge magnets over the entire lawn to remove any stray nails and picked up every single piece of shingle scrap by hand. The craftsmanship on the shingling and especially the flashing was exceptional. They added two lengthy ridge-vents which will improve ventilation in our attic and as I type this on a 95 degree afternoon our old gable fan which used to vibrate the whole upstairs hasn't kicked on so I know it's working. You should know that despite using better materials (30lb felt paper instead of 15lb, 30 yr architectural shingles instead of 25 year 3 tab) and throwing in the drywall repair and painting in the dining room where water damage had occurred from the hole in the roof Jay's bid came in about $3000 less than the other two contractors. For me personally it wasn't only that Jay came in with a better price it was that he was involved in the process from start to finish. Having done renovations of my own but never roofing I had questions that probably drove Jay nuts but you would never have known it. He showed a ton a patience and was always willing to explain. If your contractor won't do that you can bet it's because he's hiding something. He even helped with how to handle the gutter helmets that needed to be coordinated with the roofing job. He talked me through all the areas where he was going the extra step to make sure things were done right and then backed it up with over 100 crystal clear pictures to show me exactly what had occurred on the roof.You will not find a better home improvement company in MD. We will be using Jay for every household project in the future and it's not just the price or the craftsmanship that makes us want to use him again. For me, it's the way he treats his crew. As the owner/operator he's right there on the job site with them. He treats them with respect which they return in kind. His guys have been with him for a long time because he treats them well. You can't fake that. You can see it in their interactions throughout the day. He takes their training and safety very seriously. It's obvious that they like working for Jay. Each worker I came in contact with that day was incredibly polite and friendly. I had some food and drink laid out to help them through the long day and every last one of them went out of their way to say thank you. You can call three different companies for estimates like I did but to be honest, save yourself the time and the aggravation of the hard sell from other companies and just go with Homewise. You will not regret it.

Jay Gleason of The Home Wise Pros conducted the inspection and gave me a clear understanding of my options. He even took pictures of my attic so that he could show me exactly what was going on up there without my having to climb the ladder. We then set up an appointment for one of his crews to come out and blow in more insulation. Jay arrived slightly ahead of the crew to drop off some equipment and to see if I had any questions. His two-man team arrived right on time and finished the task in about four hours. The men were polite and worked very quietly. They put down tarps everywhere they needed to walk, and they cleaned up after themselves thoroughly before leaving. Although Jay went to other job sites that morning, his crew checked in with him regularly by phone, and Jay called me several times to keep me updated on their progress and to ask if I had any questions. Before leaving, his crew invited me to check their work in the attic and to approve their cleanup.

Great experience form start to finish. Jay is awesome! Everything went as he said it would from beginng to end. He is very organized, professional, and knowledgeable! He took time to answer all of my questions and never made me feel like I was a burden on his time. He also kept me informed leading up to the day the work was to be performed. The work his team did is exceptional! I love my house again! He takes plenty of pictures to show you exactly where the damage was and what was done to fix it. As well as pictures of the entire process form start to finish. His estimate was spot on. No surprise charges at the completion of the job. I did a lot of research trying to find the right company to replace my roof. I can save you that aggravation, he's your guy. And his prices are extreamly competitve. I will definitely be using his services again!

Update: Hired The Home Wise Pros to do the roof replacement. I had obtained another bid but Jay came in significantly lower than that other company despite providing higher quality materials and personal service. I admit I was shocked by how much lower his bid was. When we met for him to give me his bid, I told him I had gotten another bid. I was impressed that he did not immediately ask what that bid was. It wasn't until after he had shown me his bid that we discussed the other bid. He gave me suggestions on questions to ask the other contractor to clarify the materials and work recommended. On his way out, Jay impressed me again by telling me that, even if I chose to go with this other company, he would be open to me asking him questions because he wanted to ensure that I got the best for my money. Based on his lower bid and how impressed I was with Jay and how comfortable I felt with him, I decided to select his company to do the work without obtaining any other bids. I just didn't see the point. I called Jay at the end of the week to tell him I was accepting his bid and he came on Saturday (3rd on in a row) to sign the contract and finalize the details. The only down side was that, with all the storm damage we'd had this summer, I was not able to schedule the work for 5 weeks, but to me that just shows the good reputation that The Home Wise Pros has. The work was done on 8/28. They showed up on time at 7:00 am but it was raining. They waited out the rain in their trucks and luckily it stopped quickly. I left for work and when I got home everything was done. The roof looked great and, except for some expected loss of flowers in my beds along the front of the house, you would not have known they were there. The yard looked immaculate. Jay came inside and showed me the many pictures he'd taken while the work was being done detailing the damage to the wood on the roof and the work done to repair it, as well as pictures showing them putting on the new shingles, and repairing/replacing the pipe collars and chimney flashing. Overall, I am very pleased with my experience with The Home Wise Pros and Jay. I couldn't have asked for a better one. Jay and his team made this a fairly painless process when it could have been a lot more stressful given the circumstances. I would highly recommend this contractor to anyone. I plan to have them come back in the Spring to get quotes on some additional work I want done on the house.

At the time I purchased it I didn't realize that this company was so far away.Jay fit me into his schedule for other jobs/estimates in the approximate area. He was very professional and furnished alot of other valuable information. Yes, I would use him but his company is just too far away. He did let me know that my chimney needed immediate attention and furnished information on this topic. He showed me where we caulked around a vent coming through the roof and that it shouldn't have been done that way. He caulked a few other areas on the roof at no charge and advised that even though our roof was only 12 years old with a 25 year guarantee and because of the area we live (lots of trees) we should start having the roof inspected every couple of years. He even trimmed tree limbs that were brushing the roof. Again, very professional and a "feel good" kind of guy.

I wouldn't believe it if I hadn't seen it for myself. If you're having your roof replaced, (or other stuff, see below) you NEED to talk to Jay at The Home Wise Pros! The Home Wise Pros replaced my roofing and I can't say enough about what a great experience it was. I'm very likely the most cynical person on the planet. I've been burned by service people in the past, a number of times. One instance was that my roof had been leaking. I got a referral from a friend, didn't check them out, still leaked, after three visits. So when I decided to replace the roof to finally fix the problem I got 6 quotes. I do my homework now. Everyone I invited in to give me a quote were highly rated on Angies list and/or in a consumers check book thing. One was super fancy, with a price to match. A few were good but Jay absolutely blew me away and taught me a few things about Angie's list too. AND his quote was nearly 20% under "Mr. Fancy"! Good stuff ! Two words: The Pictures; Did you ever wonder how you'd know how much plywood was ACTUALLY replaced on your roof? (you do now don't you?) Or whether they ACTUALLY used the underlayment they quoted you? Once the roof is done, how do you know? With Home Wise Pros, I know. Pictures, before, during and after. Dozens of them. I needed to have plywood replaced, I know exactly where, how bad it was and how much because I saw the pictures for myself. I got 30 lb. roof paper, and I know I got it because I saw the pictures of the labeled rolls sitting on my roof. I got extra underlayment on my low slope, yep I saw the pictures. Pictures all around the house, before and after, so we both know the condition of the yard and the house before and after the job is done. How awesome is that! Ever wonder if "the guy" actually does show up on the job? There's Jay in the pictures ! The Cost; Better quality materials than most quoted me, but not over sold like "Mr. Fancy". He explained everything in words I could understand so I could made decisions for myself. Some will quote you the best of the best. Nice stuff but, probably more than you need, certainly more than you need to spend. Stuff that I'm sure Jay and The Home Wise Pros would be happy to sell and install for you, cheaper than the other guy. The Value; Knowing exactly what your getting and why. Seeing the pictures so you know what you have and where and why and how. Knowing you're not paying for a roof, plus sales peoples comission, plus foremans comission. Jay is awesome. He takes his time with you. He's punctual, professional and polite. Most importantly, he's there. He's a bit of a control freak and he wants to maintain his awesome reputation. That's a GREAT combination !!! They cleaned my gutters and even cleared a clog in a down spout. They didn't have to do that. Not that it's a huge deal but had they not done it, I would never have thought twice. But they did ! AND as I said above, they cleaned up. The place was spotless. Thousands of pounds of shingles, tens of thousands of nails, and hundreds of feet of roof paper came off my roof. The same and more went back up there, trees had to be trimmed, and ladders had to be used on one side of the house where I have bushes. I can't believe how well they took care in their work and cleaned up when they were done. I can barely tell where the trees were trimmed (NICE JOB !), nothing was trampled, and I haven't found a speck of debris. Again, wouldn't believe it if I haddn't seen it with my own eyes. All in one day. ONE day. Everyone else told me 2 days, maybe 3. The Home Wise Pros do kitchens and bathrooms and basements and such too. After they finished the roof and I met with Jay and went over everything, looked at the roof and the pictures, went over the numbers, I asked him on the spot for quotes for attic insulation, celing repair and paint on my porch, and asked him to take a look at one of my bathrooms. He was patient, thorough, and took his time and provided quotes for everything I wanted, with the exact same consideration and clarity he had in our first meeting for the roof. I'm planning to have him/them back. I really can't say enough how great it is to have someone who does quality work, at incredibly fair prices, that I really feel I can trust with my biggest investment.

The Home Wise Pros came to my house to inspect my roof. I just purchased the house and the roof is more than 20 years old. They took pictures of my house and other items around my house as referece points so I knew I was looking at pictures of my house. While they were on the roof performing the inspection, they called me to let me know and after the inspection they called me in a timely manner to schedule an appointment to talk to me about my roof. The rep for the company showed me the pictures and explained the problems with my roof in detail. He allowed me to ask questions and took time to explain my options. I need quite a bit of work on my roof and could not afford to have all of the work needed, so the rep explained the work that was most pressing to get done. They came to my house and replaced several pipe collars and shingles. I will definately be using this company to replace my roof.

They went above and beyond and checked the inside of my attic to make sure the leak was sealed.They did an excellent job and were very professional.

Outstanding! From start to finish, Jay was a pleasure to work with. He came out for a personal discussion of the project and showed us pictures on his iPad of their projects on similar houses. He pointed out from recent jobs exactly what they were installing and how they went about it. This was a much more effective way to explain the project than other methods we sat through. His crew had taken dozens of photos of our roof when they came out for the inspection. Jay showed us exactly the condition of our roof was and where there might be problems. The estimate was extremely reasonable and considerably less than other quotes for the same work. Jay is a seasoned professional who takes great pride in his business, his workers and his customer's satisfaction. He was personally on site all day making sure everything went perfectly and safely. He came back out a couple days after the project and showed us literally a hundred photos of our roof before, during and after the job so there would be no question of what was done and where the plywood had to be replaced (minimal). The attention to detail was great. They painted all the white vent pipes and the attic fan cover to blend in to roof more. They use higher grade roofing paper and other materials than competing companies we interviewed. This was a great experience. We highly recommend Jay and his team!

On 19 June, his employees dropped off the roofing materials as mentioned above. On 21 June, they arrived at 6:40 a.m., began work at 6:45 a.m., and continued until 9:30 p.m., working straight through the day. The old roof was removed and the new one installed with a minimum of fuss, and much less noise than I expected. I was impressed with not only the quality of the work, but also the concern the owner showed for safety for his workers and my family, and providing assistance for his people working under extreme heat and humidity. Even though the job wasn't finished until after sundown, the area around my house was cleaned thoroughly. The owner called me the day after the job was finished to set a date to look at before and after pictures of the job, and render payment for extra material required.

Scheduling was prompt; the workmen showed up on time and finished in half a day. My house has two additions that were built over the existing roof, so access to the space above those additions required cutting an opening from the main attic to the additions, which Home Wise did with no fuss. The owner took photos to show me before and after, with a ruler stuck into the insulation to show the old and new depth. I could also see from the photos where previously exposed ductwork in the attic floor was now covered. Everyone from the owner to the last workman were professional and pleasant to deal with. The access to my attic is in the roof of the garage. When they finished the work, they swept the garage thoroughly so it was cleaner than it had been to start with. I would hire this company again in a heartbeat and I've recommended them to several neighbors.

They did an excellent job with the work. They gave me photographs of what was going on which is very neat as I was able to see everything. They were even able to make recommendations for ways to fix my roof to avoid further damage. They did a great job as they were able to fix a leak that leak promptly as well as seal the roof. They were prompt with their response. I was very pleased with the work.

Initially, I purchased the Big Deal for a roof inspection/report with $150 repair credit due to a long-standing problem of water leaking through the flat roof over the front door. An inspection was completed within 3 days of the purchase. Jay Gleason emailed pictures of what was discovered and called to explain the condition of the roof and his recommendation. The leak was just the tip of the proverbial iceberg. The roof needed to be replaced. Yet there was no pressure to make a decision, he just stated the facts and much like someone else reported in a review, he could either do some repairs now and I'd still need a roof or he could fix the problem in its entirety by installing a new roof. This has to be the most positive experience I've ever had with a home repair company. After the call, Jay came out to the house and explained the entire process of replacing the roof. He again went through every one of the inspection pictures and explained them, patiently answered multiple questions, gave me an estimate and even provided references of recent roof jobs. He was professional, courteous and thorough. The multiple A+ reviews, the attention to detail and the manner in which he presented himself convinced me to agree to the work that day, even though I had a few other contractors lined up to compare against. I have no regrets about that decision. His crew delivered the materials the day before and on the day of the work, Jay was here early along with his crew and by 3:00 p.m., my new roof was completely finished. As promised, pictures were taken to ensure quality as well as point out multiple faulty areas that were fixed along with installation of the new roof. Jay met up with me when I got home from work, took the time to explain the pictures taken during the work and ensure there were no discrepancies. The entire experience made me feel highly valued as a customer. Jay Gleason wants customers for life and he knows exactly how to build and deliver on that trust. They say you get what you pay for - well, I got a whole lot more.

I emailed Home Wise Pros through Angie's list and got a phone response in less than 30 minutes. They had a job near my house and were able to stop by my house to look for the source of a leak through my roof. They were very thorough - double checked the area - and determined there was nothing wrong with the roof (it's only about 5 years old) but my gutters needed some cleaning to rule out excess rain having splashed in during a heavy rainstorm a few days earlier. I wouldn't hesitate to call on them again.

I contacted Home Wise Pros after seeing all of the glowing comments on Angie's List. I had rec'd a quote from a large company, but I was immediately impressed with Jay's personal involvement in the process and his commitment to quality. Even though he uses higher quality materials, his quote was was considerably less expensive.Jay stayed in contact with me throughout the process and explained exactly what would happen on the day the roof was installed.During the installation his crew was mindful of our safety, halting work and securing materials when we needed to leave or enter the house (or make frequent trips to the back yard to walk the dog). After the roofing work was done, the crew did a great job of cleanup - taking their time (after a long, hot day on the roof) to really pick up everything and every nail.The new roof looks great, and I feel secure in knowing that a professional job was done: Jay showed me dozens of pictures taken throughout the process so I could see the workmanship.So add me to the list of completely satisfied Home Wise Pros customers.

Just a short two weeks after I called to say I was ready to install additional insulation in my attic the Home Wise Pros were at my home. There was no need to confirm the night before that they were coming to do the work because that is how reliable they are.The process was really pain free. A long tube was snaked through my house to the attic where insulation was blown in. Drop cloths were put down to protect my house. Jay called ahead to say that his crew got caught with an unexpected problem with the client before me and wondered if they might come a bit later in the day than what I was scheduled for. He was perfectly willing to pull the crew off the job to service me. However, I was glad that I was able to accomadate them AND still get my job done so I wouldn't have to take another day off from work. All necessary areas were sealed up prior to installing the insulation and in fact they also properly vented my bathroom fans to the soffits which was not done by the contractor who put them in originally. After the job was completed I climbed the ladder myself and with flashlight in hand inspected the install. I was encouraged to do this by Jay---he doesn't have anything to hide or try to pull the wool over your eyes. He is an honest and professional businessman. I am pleased with how well this project went. I am looking forward to receiving my electric bill so I can see what a difference the additional insulation makes since my upstairs has always been cold in the winter and quite warm in the summer.

As mentioned, the crew arrived in the morning following a call by the company owner to expect them. They spent an hour or so doing the repairs and left. The owner e-mailed before and after pictures of the work that was done, which I appreciated since I've reached the point where getting to the roof is pretty tough. Given the gas expended in driving the crew here as well as the excellence of the work done, I feel the price (which was what was originally quoted) was very reasonable. The crew cleaned up any messes. I would certainly use this company again. All in all the owner, Jay Gleason, was very helpful in describing the scope of damage and the repairs needed to make the roof almost as good as new.

The roofer came out very quickly. He got on the roof & did the inspection. The tech took pictures & sent them to/called his boss. The boss called me & informed me based on this inspection that my roof was not in very good condition & that the maintenance coupon wouldn't suffice for my needs. He was very understanding of my situation. He didn't try to pressure me, but just stated that as the techs were on the roof they could do the work but that the decision needed to be made - either do some repair now & still a need a roof or get a new a roof. He understood this is something I needed think about. I appreciated the honesty.
