Kept losing shingles and knew I needed a new roof. Emailed Home Wise Pros and it took a while for them to respond, but when they did they were very prepared for the visit. Walked me through the process and answered all questions. Did not use any unwanted pressure or sales techniques. Price seemed fair and reasonable. Work was done on time and completed as promised. The new roof looks great and I am very satisfied. Liked the fact that they took pictures of the job that I could review. Left the yard clean and even tried to avoid hurting the tulips.

Found a problem in my ductwork in the attic that had been costing me a lot of money.

Home Wise Pros did an excellent job. The sales presentation was very informative and included pictures of previous jobs. I knew exactly what I was getting with my money. Everything was done very professionally. I was kept informed throughout the process and was shown pictures when the roof was completed so that I knew exactly what had been done. The crew did a very thorough job of cleaning up afterward as well. I highly recommend this company!

Not only did they repair the roofing they were also kind enough to clean my gutters while there. Although it's been some time since I had this work done I do recall that the prices were reasonable & the vendor was extremely professional.

After reviewing many, many roofers on Angie's List, I called three A-rated roofers, including one which was offering a special deal. All 3 had a hundred or more great reviews. Jay, the President of Home Wise, was the 1st to respond immediately to my call and meet with us to give us a proposal. The others were not nearly as prompt. All the proposals came in around the same amount but Jay was the most reassuring and told us he would take photos of the entire process. For example, he sent us photos of the house when it was stripped down to plywood at 10 a.m., etc. At the end of the job, he sat down with us and showed us an entire photo show of the work they did. He stuck to his initial start date subject to weather conditions and called us several times just before the start date to explain the process and to answer any lingering questions we had. His team arrived before 7 a.m. and left after 7 p.m., worked extremely hard, and used safety precautions. They did an incredible job from installing the roof to cleaning up the yard. We couldn't be more pleased with Home Wise. It was really a no-brainer to go with Jay and found it a pleasure to work with him. We highly recommend Home Wise.

Working with Jay is a breeze. He is open and transparent. Polite and prompt. Not willing to compromise on quality or cut corners. We got proposals from Home Wise Pros and two other highly rated contractors. Prices and materials were comparable. We were sold on the Home Wise Pros based on the photo record they keep on the job from start to finish. The pictures provide welcome proof that the job was done with full attentian to all details, no short cuts, and good documentation of existing problems (e.g. rotted plywood). I would highly recommend the Home Wise Pros.

Jay was very responsive, knowledgable, and helpful. During a home inspection, we received conflicting reports between a roof inspector and the roofing company that installed the new roof. Since we don't understand much about roofing, it was hard to tell who was telling the truth. After seeing the amazing reviews for The Home Wise Pros on angie's list, I gave them a call to get their expert opinion on this discrepancy. He read the inspection report and roofing company's response, called us back that same day, and gave us his unbiased expert opinion at no cost to us. He was so knowledgable and we could tell how meticulous he is about roofing. For any future roofing issues, we will definitely contact him.

The estimate I received from Jay was the only estimate I received that was in line with my expectations and in the range of what my neighbors had recently paid for thir roof replacements. There were two layers of shingles on the existing roof and the 2nd layer was most likely over 25 years old. Jay took many pictures of the condition of the existing roof and went over them with me when he presented me with his estimate. He also showed me many pictures of previous jobs he had recently performed. His estimate was very detailed and he discussed various options with me. One of the things I liked, and which was different from other companies I had talked to, was that he documents the roof replacement step-by-step with photographs so you can see exactly what was done. The roof replacement was performed as scheduled and I am happy with the results. I would certainly recommend The Home Wise Pros to anyone needing a roof replacement.

Jay Gleason is the owner. Jay came on schedule to evaluate the roof project and provided a detailed description and explanations concerning this project and recommended work. We have received three similar quotes, his was best by a small margin for similar work and materials. The work has been performed impeccably, very professional and on time. After completion the site has been left perfectly clean and the roof looks splendid! Jay has personally supervised the job, paying attention to all details and documenting the materials used and the work progress. Absolutely the best!!! Jay cam to my home and everything was an A+ experience from that point until the roof was completed. Jay explained what we needed and the whole replacement process. He gave us options that suited both our needs and our taste. He did not try to sell us something we did not need. Jay had ariel pictures of our roof to show us during the initial consultation. Both Jay and the crew were very professional and courteous. Jay went step by step through the process with us and they actually did everything they said they would do. The day of the job everyone was on time, extremely polite and kept safety in mind at all times. When the job was complete the whole site was walked through to ensure it was left the way they found it....actually better than they found it as the cleaned up the whole area.At the end of the job Jay reviewed the whole job with us and that review included pictures of everything they did during the job. I highly recommend The Home Wise Pros and am quite sure you will feel the same when they have completed your job.

The Home Wise Pros are AWESOME!!!!! Jay the owner is very professional and is present from the estimate (start) to the gutter cleaning (finish). 1st Jay preforms a fair and ACCURATE estimate of work and cost needed to do a job that exceeds expectations. He uses a drone helicopter and measures the roof to the exact measurements. This is great because he doesn't "pad" the estimate. They company and owner were at my house and ready to work at sunrise and they worked until the job was finished at sundown. During the roof replacement Jay was present at all times to supervise his crew and to answer any questions I had. My roof was in really bad shape, I had rotten plywood and missing shingles. I never thought my home could look so good. Jay also takes photos of all work he preforms and provides photos to the homeowner so we can see what work was done on the roof. Not only do they do the work they promise they went above and beyond by making sure the grounds were cleaned up. They even painted my vents from ugly white to a matching color!!!!! Not only does he replace a roof, Jay makes sure the roof is there to last. The preventative measures he employs during the roof replacement process are above and beyond anything that was offered by others. They protect all vulnerable parts of the roof with a ice and water membrane to include around the vents! No detail was overlooked. Jay takes pride in his profession and in every job he preforms, and it shows in the outstanding quality of the work his company preforms. Jay double checks the work of his employees consistently throughout the work preformed. I have never, until now, had a contractor do a job that was absolutely perfect. I first met Jay through a roof maintenance offer that was listed on Angie's list about 2 years ago, he thoroughly explained to me the problems with my roof that the maintenance wouldn't really fix and he had pictures to show me as he explained. I arranged to have him replace the roof on the house and decided to do the garage as well; I obtained a couple of other estimates before making the decision to go with The Home Wise Pros and although they weren't the cheapest, I really liked Jay's presentation the best and just had an overall good feeling about it. Jay explained to me the entire process and showed me pictures of other homes he has replaced the roof on, even had an aerial view from a drone that he now incorporates; I really like the idea of pictures, it gives me a visual of everything that he was explaining to me. On March 21st Jay and his crew replaced the roof on my house and garage. Jay kept in contact with me throughout the whole process, even sending me pictures to my phone to show me what the roof looked like when all the shingles were off and the condition of the wood on the roof. He called me throughout the day to keep me posted on their progress including the estimated time of completion. I was at work while this work was being done and had no worries about anything, I was just excited to see the end results; the next day a friend of mine and I took a look at all the work that had been done and my friend said that if you didn't know any better you wouldn't even know that they had been here, just a testimony of how well Jay and his team had cleaned up after the work was completed. I can't say enough good things about Jay and his team and how happy I am with the work that they did; now I have peace of mind that I have a new roof, done right and good quality, what more could one ask for. .In 2012, we chose Jay to remove and replace roof on a 2 story house. They also cleaned out and repaired/replaced some gutters. We run a horse farm, and were concerned about nails being left where horses might step on them or tires might get punctured. Jay was thorough in his assessment of our needs. They showed up when we expected and did the job in one day. There was not a nail or scrap to be found when they left. When they came back last week for the inspection, they were prompt, business like and not at all disruptive to the operations of the farm. We are very pleased and plan to have Jay re-roof our 14 stall barn in the future! l

We felt confident in our decision to hire Jay and scheduled the work for March. I have never worked with any contractor that made me feel so comfortable and worry-free. He was professional, on time and communicated with us every step of the way. I was amazed with his crew at the quality of work performed and the clean-up at the end. I had a roof leak in my kitchen. Looked at Angie's list and saw that Home Wise Pros was very highly rated. Jay came out within a couple of days and gave me an estimate. They were not the lowest, but I felt more comfortable with Jay and decided to go with them. They came out when scheduled. The workers were very professional. They did an outstanding job and the roof looks great. Everything was cleaned up afterwards. I would highly recommend them.

The provider called me, offering to inspect my new roof and fix any defects. There was no need for to be present, and did his best not to disturb the household. This he did, on the day we agreed on. My daughter told me he was here, and he left his business card, as well. I am very satisfied with this company.

Jay and The Home Wise Pros were outstanding, Jay was very professional and a pleasure to work with. He arrived on time for his appointments and came prepared to answer all questions and concerns. He took many pictures during his inspection and then walked me through exactly what needed to be done. He explained that my leak was due to a faulty pipe collar that had not been sealed correctly. He was patient and flexible and gave me time to 'consult' with my brother who was in the home construction business. In fact, Jay was even willing to call my brother and discuss the estimate with him directly. I felt he was honest and trust worthy. One surprise: Jay did not ask for any down payment. He said that I could pay when the work was completed. His crew arrived on time and began work promptly. During the process, Jay again took many pictures to show the progress and to also document the rotten wood that needed to be replaced. The crew did a beautiful job and cleaned up the yard of all debris and nails. The finished roof is beautiful and I am very happy with the appearance of my home. I highly recommend Jay and his company.

The experience was good. They were comfortable to work with. I just didn't have anything major I was able to do financially at that time.

The job went like clockwork. Jay came out for the estimate. He was professional, honest and forthright about what needed (and didn't need) to be done. He explained everything completely. We got 3 estimates and Home Wise was in the middle. However, the level of trust and comfort was much higher with Home Wise than with the other two. After signing the contract, we were given a start date of the beginning of March and, despite some extreme weather in between, the crew showed up on time the morning of March 1st. They were polite, efficient and professional. The job was finished completely in one day. The end results and workmanship were top notch. They were careful to pick up debris in the yard. One of the best experiences with using Home Wise Pros, is the photo (and in my case arial video) documentation of every step of the job. Frankly, unlike most other services performed on your home, roofing is something you cannot monitor while it is being performed. You here the noise on the roof from inside, but really have no way of knowing the extent of damage and whether the contractor is attending to the task properly. That's where the photos really help. They document everything they do and anything that is out of sort or potentially problematic. Reviewing the photos at the completion of the job, gave me reassurance that things were taken care of and done properly. I know we received the quality of work we were promised. The Home Wise Pro team was very professional - it was a pleasure working with Jay Gleason and his team. I requested an estimate from several companies and selected The Home Wise Pro company ? not because they were the cheapest but because Jay sat and explained the entire roof and skylight process to me. He gave me options for shingle replacement and skylights. After our meeting I felt comfortable working with Jay and his team. I felt they would go above and beyond to ensure the job was done right the first time and after looking at all the pictures from the job I believe they did! My roof was 20 years old roof and so were my skylights. I also had a leak - the team found the issue ? pipe collar was damaged. They also replaced the pipe collar, painted the furnace pipe to prevent rust. PICTURES - They also toke before, after and during PICTURES of the entire process which I found very benefical. With the picture I saw that every step was performed per our agreement. I know have a beautiful 30 year roof that transformed the look of the house and new skylights with UV protection. New roof installed by this company in August and wrote a review at that time. After this week’s ice storm, a tree branch landed on our roof, we were concern and contact owner Jay Gleason. It was a 2 to 3" diameter branch and the wind blew it off the roof. Jay said about 10% of the branch that size only could cause damage to the roof depending on how they hit. He came out on Friday and climbed out on the roof and looked around. He could tell where it had hit but it didn't look like any significant damage. We'd had the pine tree near the house trimmed back before the new roof was installed but the ice and wind cause more branches to fall that we did not anticipate. We were relieved that we did not need repairs to the roof and happy that Jay was able to come out and check it out.

The house is a 1970's 2 story colonial. The roof of the house, garage, and addition all needed to be replaced. The roof on the addition has a very minimal slope, only a couple degrees. Other estimates we got wanted to do the roof in rubber, which would have looked terrible and cost quite a bit more, Home Wise Pro did it in the same shingles as the rest of the house and it looks great. They started work around 7:15am and were done and cleaned up by 4:30pm. Jay was very informative about the process, including explaining the differences between the product lines and product providers.

First of all, I cannot say enough about Mr. Jay Gleason and his company, The Home Wise Pro's. I had Jay come to the house and give me an estimate along with several other companies. Before contacting Jay @ the Home Wise Pro's, I had received estimates ranging from $8,100 to $15,000 (none of which were for the architectural roof - the one I really wanted). Jay spends the time to sit and tell you a little about his company and how he got started (which was pretty impressive in itself). He explains the life of a roof and how the weather effects the roof, the steps of installing a roof and he takes the time to answer any and all questions in a way that is understood by everyone. Jay recognized and pointed out to me some mistakes that were made when my roof was installed previously. Jay really lives and breaths roofing. It just exudes from him that he truly enjoys doing what he does for a living. I pretty much new instantly that Home Wise Pro's had the job but what really sealed the deal was when we were talking the costs associated with it. For the cost of the architectural roof, I was previously quoted (by other competing companies) anywhere from $1100 to $2000 in addition to the prices quoted above for the architectural roof. I asked Jay how much more it would cost for the architectural roof with him and he said . . . . ( listen for the drum roll), Jay told me that he only charges for the additional cost of the materials. WHAT I AM SAYING HERE IS THAT FOR MY HOUSE, IT ONLY COST ME $200.00 MORE TO GET WHAT I REALLY WANTED AND THAT WAS THE THE ARCHITECTURAL ROOF WITH JAY, THAT'S IT! No additional labor cost associated with it. Jay says the cost of labor stays the same regardless of what roofing style you select. Those other companies don't believe that. Remember I said those other companies charged $1100 to $2000 more, for what, labor? This was a no brainer decision - Jay had the job! I cannot say enough about Jay Gleason and his company. Also, let me say, that the original cost of my new roof was $9510 less any expenses for rotted plywood. In taking the old roof off, I did have to have several sheets of plywood replaced. Jay showed me the bad wood and also worked with me on the overall price and he did just that! As you can see the total cost of service in above in the little box marked approx. cost of service. PICTURES . . . you want to talk about the before and after pictures Jay Gleason takes. He takes numerous pictures so you can see what your roof looked like before and what you got when it was all said and done. And you should see what he uses to take the pictures. Overall, great guy, great company and a very interesting new toy he uses to take his pictures! I love my new architectural roof! What a differnce from the old roof. My house is again beautiful! You can spend a lot of time reading, as I did too but don't waste too much time . . . . CALL JAY NOW BEFORE HE IS BOOKED FOR THE NEXT 20 YEARS! You won't be sorry. Over a year ago I employed Home Wise Pros to replace a roof. They did an excellent job - there is no leaking, no weaknesses, no problems at all. I am very pleased with their work.
