We have never hired a temp service to answer our phones not even for one day. This customer paid Angies list $149.00 for the service not the $200.00 noted in her comments. We always call before we arrive at a customer’s home for three important reasons. First, we want to get credit for the work completed. Second, it is just plain common courtesy to call before you arrive at someone’s home. And the third reason is because if we show up at a home without the homeowner’s knowledge and put up a ladder up against their house and climb on their roof without them being aware of this, two things would probably happen. One might be an angry home owner coming out of their home asking us who we are and what we are doing getting on their roof or, the customer might dial 911 resulting in having my men lying spread eagle on the customers’ lawn explaining to a Police officer why they were at the home, climbing on the roof without the customers knowledge. Please read all of our other reports and you will see that none of our customers have ever mentioned a temp service; none have paid $200.00 for the roof maintenance package and none of them have ever said we came to their home unannounced. Having said all that, if this customers report was meant for our company and not confused with another company they may have worked with, I’m deeply sorry.
