It went well. $277. Good price!

It went great. Juan and hector arrived on time and completed the job in less than 45 minutes. They dug a few inches down to access the septet riser door and carefully removed the sod to allow for replacement. They pumped the tank while stirring up the deposit and checked to make sure that the take was working properly. They replaced the sod, and it looks like they were never there. Their service was terrific.I highly recommend them to everyone.

They messaged me back for an esitmate after just a few minutes on a Sunday. They gave us a good estimate and we were scheduled promptly. They also showed up right on time, first thing in the morning and were very professional and friendly.

I picked Chief because of the reviews here (and they are local) and was not disappointed. I needed a routine septic tank service, since I did not know when the last service was completed before I moved in four years ago. Juan and Hector arrived well within their stated two-hour window and went to work. Juan discussed various aspects of septic maintenance and unlike some providers I have studied, did not try to sell me any products designed to enhance septic tank function. He was friendly, polite and they got the job done within an hour.

My yard is currently a marsh and I've been trying to figure out why. Earlier in the day, I had another company come to my house in the morning and pump 3000 gallons of water/sewage from my septic tank. Following that, my septic filled back up with water. They said they'd be back with an estimate to repair the issue and that my drain fields needed to be re-established elsewhere. Knowing this was costly, I sought additional advice. So, in the meantime, I referenced Angie's List for other companies to contact. Juan's organization was rated #2 in my area based on total reviews and feedback so I gave him a call. I reached Juan on his cell phone and he asked that he call me back because he was in a bad cell area. I went on with my day with several calls back from both his office and him personally to touch base with me. When my appointments were over, I contacted both to find out when Juan could come out. Initially we planned on the next day. However, I touched base with him in the evening and he offered to stop by because he was in the area. It is important to note that Juan was in contact with me via text message several times. This was extremely helpful in moving the process along and I really appreciated his accessibility! Juan showed up about 45-60 mins. after his commitment to stop by; this was late in the day, around 7pm. It saved me a scheduling issue that I had if he were to come the next day and I was very appreciative that he offered to come by immediately. When Juan arrived, he assessed the situation and offered his knowledge and advice on the problem. He was very helpful for a second opinion and when I offered to pay him for his time, he refused. As a business owner, I know that this sort of above and beyond is hard to come by and felt bad I couldn't pay him for his knowledge but very much appreciate it. As my situation unfolds, I will certainly be in contact with Juan and will definitely use him for future septic services!

They were honest and that was the best thing and the fact that Juan knows what he's doing !!! the price is more then fair, you would be foolish not to use them !!!!

We called them on an emergency first thing this morning, and they were able to come out. They provided excellent service. They went above and beyond what I feel a normal plumber would have done. They were really awesome! We’ve dealt with a lot of plumbers and we've never received this service.

Juan did a terrific job. I emailed Juan through Angie's List website at probably 7 in the evening and he called me within 30 minutes. He came out the next day to assess he situation and determined that something was going on with our septic tank. He told us it could be anywhere from $2K to $10K but he'd have to start digging to find out (it ended up being $1600). After digging down to the pipe at our septic tank he determined only a small part of the pipe needed replacing, which they did. They spent all day outside in five degree weather working on this for us. He then started working on the kitchen pipe problem which he said was probably caused by the larger septic issue. He worked for several hours and even went out to rent a larger snake. It was a very difficult task but he told me he wouldn't give up. Juan kept me informed throughout the process, prepared me for what the cost might be, and was overall wonderful and professional. I'd hire Juan and his team again.

For anyone needing an honest, hardworking and professional company at a reasonable price to service your septic system, I would highly recommend Chief Septic, Inc. from Mt. Airy, Maryland. My septic tank is buried about 8 inches below the surface of my front lawn. Juan the owner's son and one helper performed the work. After quickly locating the lid to my septic they dug it up being careful to preserve the sod at my request so it could be replaced after they were done. They removed the concrete septic tank lid and proceeded to pump out about 1,200 gallons of sewerage and sludge which tool about 45 minutes. After they were done the soil and sod were neatly replaced. Juan suggested that since there was a lot to pump out (I had not had it done in several years) that I have it redone in about a year from now and then every 3-4 years after that. He was very courteous and polite as was his helper. I was completely satisfied and give them an A+++ rating and will use them again and recommend them to my friends and neighbors. Their price was also the most reasonable also. Just $195 to pump and $40 to access the holding tank.

When I contacted Chief, they gave me advice via e-mail. I ultimately had another company do the work that needed to be performed. I cannot vouch for Chief's work, but I can give them an A+ for being responsive and helpful from a remote standpoint.

I thought I knew the location of the septic clean out but I was off by a few feet. They found it within a few minutes - proceeded to clean out the tank. Everything went very smoothly. Promised a reminder in 4 years - I will really appreciate that - not the sort of thing you remember to take care of until a problem comes up!

Chief Septic drained, cleaned, and inspected the septic system for a house we were selling. They were wonderful!!! I called several companies and decided to use Chief Septic because of their prompt response, flexibility in scheduling an appointment, and reasonable cost for services. Without hesitation, I would use Chief Septic in the future, and I highly recommend them to anyone in need of septic service.

Chief Septic showed up on time and and expertly performed the job at hand. They had to search for the cap to the septic field, but their digging was minimal and they marked the copy of the plat so I could find the cap if I needed the work done in the future.

They were punctual, friendly, and professional.

Edgard Uzcategui owner of the small family business company showed up with his assistant. They were a little late for our 12pm appointment. Mr. Uzcategui apologized and said he hit a lot of traffic coming across town. I believed him. It was no big deal. After talking about what needed to be done they pulled out about 100+ feet of hose from their tanker truck, hooked up the sections across my lawn, stuck it into my septic tank, and evacuated all the sludge. Then they rinsed down the septic tank and evacuated some of the water. It didn't take long, maybe about 20 minutes. Mr. Uzcategui inspected the tank and said that it looked very good. They packed up the hose and stowed it back on the tanker truck. Mr. Uzcategui was very courteous and professional thoughout the whole procedure. I paid him and they left. I would recommend and hire Chief's Septic again.

This is the second time I have used Chief Septic to empty my tank and I am completely satisfied. Edgard's honesty was refreshingly welcome and he said I could have the septic system emptied at 18 months instead of 12 months (we have a small tank). I would definitely recommend Chief Septic to everyone.

I called for an appointment and they were very responsive. Edgard was thorough and took his time gathering information about the history of our house and the use of our septic system. He povided the phone number needed to get drawings of our septic system and offered to return once I had obtained the drawings so he could review them and assess the type, construction, and drainage. After we obtained the drawings, Edgard met with my husband and spent time going over both sets of drawings. Because of his expertise and experience he was able to determine that our system was working as it should be and was in fact in good shape (our house is almost 50 years old). Edgard determined that the source of the smell was not the septic system and provided advice on approaches we might consider to resolve the problem. We were thoroughly impressed with Edgard and his daughter who fielded our telephone calls and ensure that our messages were relayed. I was very impressed with the work ethic and integrity with which Chief Septic operated. I highly recommend them - in fact, if my 90 year old mother had a septic system I'd recommend them to her.

The main guy told me about a program that would pay for all of the hardware(about 2/3 of the total cost). The two other companies I got bids from did not mention this program. They were very helpful, prompt and did a great job! I was very pleased with the work, and the amount of money they saved me. They have come back a few times to check on the system.

Chief Septic took over completely, arranging for the County Inspector to oversee the perk tests, excavating for the tank and field drain, installing everything, connecting to our sewer and electric supply, destroying the old cesspool, covering and grading the excavations. We were without sewer service for only about 2 hours. Chief Septic, Inc., turned out to be a family business, in fact, a Basque family. I have never dealt with such helpful and just-plain-nice contractors. They fell straight into the too-good-to-be-true category ? which made me wary at first - but it was, in fact, true. They became our friends and I would trust them completely under any circumstances. The entire installation was carefully and efficiently carried out with a minimum of disruption and some member off the family has stopped by at frequent intervals to make sure all is well. A rare and heartening experience!
