It went well without any problem. He came on time and located the manhole cover of the septic tank based on the septic tank map provided by the County. He dug 3 feet approximately to uncover the manhole cover and spent over 20 minutes pumping and cleaning the septic tank. Job was professionally done and they cleaned up the area afterwards.

He was good. He actually came, did the work and I did not know he did it until he finished. The $400 price included two extra parts. He was the only one that charged a variable amount depending on how deep he went. That made sense to me. It is a small shop so they have trouble returning phone calls. That does not reflect on them. Once they figured it out they moved quickly. They showed up exactly when they were supposed to. Their professionalism was very good.

The work went well. I was very please with their professionalism. They checked the integrity of my septic tank and also checked areas of my drain field that I was concerned about. They arrived almost 90 minutes after the agreed upon appointment time, which concerned me, because I had another commitment that day. Wish they had called to say they would be late. They also were to install a riser that same afternoon, but did not show. They came the following day and completed the install satisfactorily. I would definitely use them again. Only wish they would call when they are unable to meet their appointment times.

I have an aerobic drip field. When I first contacted them to pump my tank for the first time since buying my house, they came out and spent an evening explaining my system to me - how it worked and what needed to be serviced. The wiring needed to be updated, the filters cleaned, and a float replaced. It was a family affair with a team of experts. They also stopped by to help me turn my blower back on when it was time (I was nervous about doing it correctly myself.) Great first impression of this company and will be sticking with them.

What a great experience! Scheduling was a breeze and we received an appointment within the week. Juan and Hugo did a great job. They were nice, polite and efficient in their work. They were informative, which was helpful, as this is our first home with a septic system. I will be using them for all my septic needs in the future and will be telling all my friends in town about them! We had not had our septic tank pumped for about 10 years, so there was a lot of solid in the tank. Juan and Hugo worked for about an hour to pump out the liquid and back-flushed twice at about 13,000psi. They explained everything and, because we have an older system, encouraged us with the best ways to take care of it. Juan was extremely polite and personable and patient with all of my questions. The price was the best in our area. I already have them on our calendar for next time. We will absolutely use them again and again and will recommend them to anyone who asks. Just a note: Because our system is older, they had to break the lid off of our 6" pipe access. It was clear the the pipe threads were worn away. They explained that this is quite common on very old systems. But I understand that a new plastic lid is being mailed to us at no charge. Also: We are planning to unearth our manhole access to our tank. Doing so enables the crew to do an even more thorough job.

Chief Septic has been great over the years. The first time I called them out to pump my septic tank Juan took a look at the yard, the septic system, asked questions about how many fixtures and immediately advised that I look into connecting to city sewer. I thought this was very strange since connecting to city sewer would mean I would no longer need their services. A couple years went by and I had chief out several times to pump the tank, but I continued to have issues with my septic system. The field was failing and within a few minutes Juan had figured that out and told me exactly what I needed to do, even though it was contrary to his business interests. You can't beat that kind of honesty. This latest encounter is what prompted me to write this review. I am connecting to city sewer and I needed both the septic tank and the dry well completely drained. At the advice of my plumber, I called another company who ignored me for several days. The deadline was fast approaching and a just 4 days before the plumber was scheduled to start his work, I called Chief Septic. They re-worked the schedule and fit me in. They had to remove 3 full loads to get the job done, but they did it perfectly. They finished just as the plumber showed up to begin the work. Juan is a real stand up guy and if there is anything else I ever need his services for I know I can trust him. If there was anything better than an A rating, Chief Septic would have received it.

Edgard Uzcategui and 2 helpers showed up on time . Did an excellent job. When they were done you wouldn't know they were there. Their quality of work is very rare to find these days. I was also given an Angie's list discount . Angie, who works in the office, kept me informed of their schedule. I highly recommend R&E Chief Septic LLC.

The Company failed to appear without the courtesy of a phone call.

We were in a bit of a crunch with family coming in from out of town and a large celebration planned. R&E Chief were terrific in fitting us in and getting the job done.

Everything was fine. From time I scheduled the appointment until they came and did the work. They handled it all very well. I have placed a reminder to use them in another 2 years.

Excellent in all ways. In the past we have used other providers who charged more and had an arrogant attitude. This is a friendly family business. They came quickly, when they said they would. The son Juan is a good fellow with a great attitude.

The team called about an hour ahead to let me know they were on their way and showed up within the two hour window originally scheduled. They were polite, respectful, and explained everything they were going to do. My septic system is about 30 years old so after asking me a few questions, I received some recommendations regarding continued maintenance but without any kind of sales pitch for additional service. i appreciated that. The guys took to their tasks and were finished within an hour of arriving. I was impressed with their courtesy and speed and would definitely use them again.

Easy as can be, I sent in a request via Angies List, R&E contacted me the next day and had me scheduled for the following day. They gave me a two hour window (9-11) of when Juan would show up. Juan and Hector showed up at about 9:10 and pretty much started right away. It took them about 30-40 minutes to finish. During the time it took to empty the tank Juan was explaining to me what I should do to help re-direct the rain water from my property, since I have a sloped back yard. He also mentioned to me that I should contact the county to find out what category I was in since the city sewer is right in front of my home. He seemed to be an honest and straightforward person. I will use them again in the future.

We had been having trouble with slow fields. They spent a great deal of extra time with us to test the problem areas and explain possible solutions. Very knowledgeable and through. We will be having them do our repairs in the spring!

He was really outstanding. He came out and did the work. They went out of their way and they were helpful. He went really beyond just pumping out the septic tank. We obtained a thing from Frederick County where the septic tank was to make sure I did not have double tanks or something like that. He just was not sure. He did not believe where the tank was. He wanted to make sure. He just went above and beyond. He came out one day on his own to just double check things. He was extraordinary. I found him on Angie’s list and I chose him because of the written reviews. The reviews were very powerful for him and the price was good. Everything stood out very good. I was actually going around and hand his name out to some of my neighbors. He had his son with him; I believe it was his son.

Located septic tank , removed dirt to uncover tank lid and pumped out septic tank !! Very professional and has a great sense of humor about his profession !!

I called them because of the high reviews on Angieslist. They were very nice and explained everything about our system. They pumped and cleaned out our septic system. He was also able to figure out the issue with our alarm going off frequently and made suggestions about getting everything fixed. I would highly recommend them and will use them in the future.

Juan was extremely knowledgeable and answered questions that we had as a first time home owner regarding the septic, drain field and care & maintenance. Got a call that Juan would be about 15 minutes late if that was okay. No problem. The tank was promptly pumped and we scheduled having a riser kit installed. He was very friendly, answered all questions and could not have been more professional. I would gladly give this company the highest possible recommendation.

Juan and his employee were professional and honest. A few weeks after the work was completed our septic alarm went off. We called Juan and he came out to check that his electric work was in order and it was. Turned out we had a larger electric issue not septic. Juan didn't charge us for re-checking his work and went the extra mile coming back later that evening. Free of charge, he put together a work around to run the septic pump with a generator while we resolved the larger electric issue. He is both professional and generous.

Called several different companies and left voice mail messages for a request for cost and schedule. R&E was the first to return my call and managed to fit me in for the next day. They arrived on time and provided great service. I appreciated their evaluation of my old septic system and suggested several options for improvement without the typical "hard sell" tactics of the other companies I have used in the past. Overall I highly recommend R&E.
