Description of Work: Cleaned septic tank. I had a vague idea of where it was. They probed and found the lid. The tank had not been cleaned in probably 30 years. It was a difficult job but they did a great job and never complained.

Description of Work: Firstly, they cleaned out my septic tank for a very reasonable price (which included the Angie's List 10% discount). Their representative Juan was knowledgeable, respectful, engaging, able to answer all questions. Secondly, they identified that my septic tank needed some repair work which they showed me and documented with photos (it's an old tank and I was suspicious that it wasn't functioning properly). I scheduled the work with them, and they were back within four days to complete the job, which their associate completed in the rain! They gave me an extremely reasonable ballpark estimate (which also would include the 10% Angie's List discount), but I have not received the second bill yet. From first contact with Angie, every representative of this company was responsive, cordial, knowledgeable, and respectful.

Description of Work: From getting scheduled to getting the invoice hand delivered everyone in this family owned operation has been truly great. Came in to look at my septic system and after discussing some options we agreed on having them dig and put in an access port into my tank as my (40yr old) system did not have a man-hole sized access. Also pumped out my tank. Juan and his guys were prompt and gave me options with no pressure to do any more than I wanted or felt comfortable with. They dug out and put in the access, pumped my tank and did the work quickly with minimal disruption to the yard. I am glad we chose them and we are very satisfied with the service and dealings with this company.

Description of Work: Pumping a septic tank is high on the list of thankless jobs. Prior to arrival, I received a call letting me know that they were running late, due to significant traffic at the dump. They arrived, as promised and performed the job professionally and efficiently. I only had to wash off a very small area in my driveway, but that's because I'm quite particular and have pets. | |I will definitely use R & E Chief again. Especially, since they have a since of humor to their job with, "Yesterday's meals on wheels," printers on their truck. Awesome!

Description of Work: Could not have been a better experience. Submitted a request for service via Angie's List on the weekend. Received a response that they would call on Tuesday. They called and came out the next day! Pumped and inspected our tank. Provided some information and guidance based on their inspection. No surprises! Could not have been a better experience.

These are just a few of the positive descriptors of this family owned and operated company. We were having trouble with our septic system and it started backing up in the basement floor drain. What a mess, and it was a damp and cold Sunday morning. Thank goodness for R & E Chief Septic (and Angie's list). Sounds like a commercial, I know, but they answered the phone after just a few rings (no automated phone menu) took down our information and had us scheduled for later that day. They arrived sooner than they said they could, talked with us to assess the problem and helped my husband finish digging down to the top of the septic tank. They stayed on the job until the lines were cleared and then put everything back in place as they gave us some recommendations. When they told us the price I thought it was a mistake. R & E Chief Septic was a lot less expensive than the previous septic company we'd called several years earlier. They recommended that we have our tank pumped every three years and with the prices they provided, we can afford to do it.
