One Hour Air Conditioning & Heating

The gentleman was professional, but I did get the feeling he was trying to sell me on items other than just doing the spring check I needed to have done. He had a whole list of things I should consider, which I didn't think were really necessary to spend money on. Overall, he was great. Good experience.

We weren’t all that satisfied with it actually. The Angie’s List deal had said that it was valid to assess the air conditioner and heater but when the guy came, he would only look at the air conditioner. He gave us quote on other work but it was going to be a significant amount of money so we didn’t have them do any other work. The guy was nice about it. He was courteous and he showed up on time. Other than that, we were satisfied with the guy who came out. It was a fairly detailed look at the air conditioning unit. We were sort of expecting that it would be a better assessment of what specifically needed to be done but he basically just told us that it was really old and there wasn’t much to do about it. He was very thorough though. They were responsive.

Originally it didn't go well because of some issues. It was a communication error, but once they showed up, they were really good. They were responsive and apologized. He was on time for the second appointment. He explained what the problem was and what he needed to do to fix it. It works very well now. The next day someone came out to make sure that it was done right and made sure it was running right. When they schedule, they need to make sure that the technicians can show up. The guys that came out were good, courteous, and professional. I was satisfied with the work that they did and they followed up the next day.

spent 45-60 mins. both indoors and outdoors checking our unit. My husband asked a number of questikns whch he answered courtously and professionally each time. No complaints but Kudos on prompt arrival and extensive knowledge of our a/c system!

I had One hour out for a simple service to fill my r-22 freon. They were 2 hours late (with no call) and what a discounted rate of $618.00 for freon plus the $49.00 service call. In all in took about three minutes and I refused the outrageous freon fill service costs. Avoid at all cost. Terrible!

After purchasing the big deal, the company called me to set up an appointment and ask about what issues we were having. A nice gentleman came out (I cannot remember his name) and started on his work. He inspected our furnace and humidifier that is attached. He explained all issues that he found in depth with my husband pointing out things and showing him what they should and shouldn't look like. He was very thorough and even though our issue is still a bit of a mystery after his inspection we have not had any issues with the furnace not firing. He was here about 2 hours and did talk to my husband about a service plan they had, but was not pushy in any way. This was a really great deal and we would definitely use this company again!

came in to service a heat pump that was working - was here half a day - did not seem to know what he was doing and when he left the heat pump was not working so we had to call another company to come fix it in a moment of great weakness we called one hour service again when our gas furnace stopped working; their technician was here two hours and wanted $1100 for a new motor; we called another contractor who fixed it in 40 minutes angies list you usually have good contractors - not this one

I am not upset about the scheduling issue because I know these service technicians may get delayed on their service calls with other customers but it would have been nice to be contacted prior to their arrival letting me know they would be running late. The technician was real personable and spent about 15 minutes with me to give me an estimate on an evaporator and condenser coil cleaning for my HVAC unit. He got his price book and told me it would be around $1250.00 as a discount from $1399.00. He didn't really explain why the cost was so high. I doubt I will chose this company again as I didn't get the level of service I was expecting. Finally, I didn't get a detailed explanation of why the quote was so high.

The service went fine. They wanted to charge me and additional $109 for a humidifier filter. I thought their pricing was unreasonably high. I was not home while they did the service. I had no problem with scheduling.

The service went very well. They are efficient, reliable, and have a good reputation in this community. My interactions with them have been fine. I have been using them regularly since May.

It went really well. They were very thorough. I didn't know how extensive it would be for for just $39, but they exceeded my expectations.

Two young men from the company came to my home to provide serve. They were extremely thorough and explained the what they were looking at while inspecting the system. I felt the cost of the deal was incredibly good given the length of time they spent. In addition, they were very polite and friendly and didn't try to make me feel like an idiot - as some technicians do - while they worked. I would definitely recommend their company to anyone looking for excellent and honest H/VAC service.

The price was very good and that service fine. The problem with this company is that in addition to the service they charged $95 to replace the water pad in our humidifier. If I had been at home this would not have happened. It's very expensive for this service, another cheap deal to get in the door and then overcharge in other things that are not necessary.

The Angie's list deal for a check up was a fantastic price, and they honored that price for my second zone unit. The technician was 3 months out of HVAC school and was very thorough and knowledgeable. While I didn't have any major problems, he indicated that some parts were near the end of their lives and would fail in the next year or two. He offered to replace them, but they charged something like $295 for a part I found online for $12.50. He then offered a monthly service package which included checkups, and parts (although I couldn't use it for parts in the next 30 days, if the parts went out) and would have been a hair better deal than buying the parts out right. So, in the end, I didn't replace the parts. I feel like they got in the door with a great deal, but then tried to get me hooked on an expensive service package.

I was happy with deal. They called me when they were coming and the technician was courteous. Scheduling an appointment was fine. They checked the compassader and told me it needed to be replaced and quoted me an outrageous price.

I was not able to schedule this service at no fault to One Hour A/C and Heating so I cannot submit a true review for this provider.

It went very well. No issues at all. Service provider was very pleasant and competent.

It went fine; however, it was clear that the tech's primary mission was to sell me a warrantee on the heat pump. Even so, it was worth the low price.

The tune-up of the furnace was fine, but he tried to sell me an $800.00 duct cleaning and a $695 filter and an expensive service contract (price varied depending on the age of the system).

They were prompt and courteous and all went well. I would use them again if I needed to.

$Did a very good job of examining and explaining system, pointing out potential and looming problems (including discovery of mouse dung). Price included A/C checkup with anti-algae inspection of condensor coil, among other services. Pleasant, professional, and thorough, but I did not fall for the hype trying to upsell me on their claimed superior air filters that require cleaning.
