Description of Work: really liked my technician. Was thorough and explained everything. Allowed me to comfortably watch over his shoulder and ask questions. Very pleasant and professional and competent. Assessed condition of my furnace and was upfront about what he thought was the remaining life of the equipment and never pressured me or raised false alarms about replacing anything. Gave warnings, but a realistic assessment, I felt. I Would definitely use this company again.

Description of Work: Supposed to be a heating/ac check. Charged us $450 and we do not believe that what they did was helpful. Replaced a compressor. A/c functioned ok, furnace did not work when we turned it on last week. It felt like a scam to rip us off.

Description of Work: i paid a pittance for this A/C mid season tuneup. the guy worked for 3 hrs. i was really impressed. he told me what he thought would be needed in service in the future years. sorry i took so long to review. i am considering a long term maintenance contract with this company. couldn't be more pleased.

Description of Work: I ended up not having the service done. On the day of the appt. my car broke down. I called and cancelled. I was told to reschedule later, and if they did not hear from me they would call. I called back to reschedule that day. No one answered, so I left a message to call me back. I never heard back. I will consider this a lost $39!

Description of Work: Analyzed and tested system. Replaced an electrical part. Sold us a service contract. Indicated compressor fins were dirty but cleaning was not part of the service.

Description of Work: They installed the whole house humidifier as specified in the Big Deal, and explained to my husband how to use and maintain it. (I was not available at the time). They were responsive to our need to reschedule the appt due to my father's serious illness and subsequently passing away. They performed a reivew of our home heating and air conditioning service at no charge, and explained what services they provide which may be beneficial to us in the future. I would certainly use them again.

Description of Work: Had Angie's List deal for tune-up of the A/C unit. Provider arrived at my home near the beginning of the promised time window. Performed the maintenance and answered my questions along the way. As a first-time homeowner, this was helpful to become more familiar with what each part of the system does. Provider laid out a few items that could improve the performance of the A/C system and parts that were starting to age. He provided clear pricing for each item and levels of urgency so I could determine if I wanted any of the services performed that day, or I could budget to perform them at a later date. When I selected to postpone some of the items, there was no pressure to reconsider. Would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: The tech spent a good amount of time and I felt like he really checked everything out. He did not try to sell me anything other than a service plan but they are supposed to do that. That is probably why they are offering such a good price.

Service tech (John) called in advance, invited me to watch and spent time instructing and educating me along the way - really went out of his way. Very professional, and superb customer service. Purchased service as a "Big Deal" and would strongly lean towards this company if I were to pursue a pre-paid service/maintenance agreement.
