Description of Work: One Hour Air and Heat was timely, courteous from call to complete work, they were upfront with the issues found and all charges to fix prior to performing the work, since their visit our AC has been performing better than it has in years. I can't say enough, if you need someone right away, this should be your first call.

Description of Work: The description of the "$39 Heating Check-Up" through Angie's List "Big Deal" was to include many items...many of which were not done by the inspector. I didn't realize these omissions until well after he left. For example, the following that were to be done were not, to the best of my knowledge, done. For example: inspect and adjust fan belt tension; clean existing filter (rather, he told me how to do it), lubricate and clean blower motor air vents and lubricate all moving parts for proper operation (nothing was lubricated). The inspector was very polite and seemed knowledgeable, and I feel confident that had I shown him the list of items included in "the deal" he likely would have done them without question.

Description of Work: The technician checked my A/C system but found out that it might have a leak. We ordered another more thorough checkup and it was confirmed that the leak is the problem. Fixing the leak will cost more than a thousand dollars. Since our system is old, I decided to just replace the whole system. I eventually chose another contractor, not because this company is not good, but because I have some previous contacts and discussions with the other contractor. The young technician provided service from the company was very kind and very pleasant to work with.

Description of Work: Replaced condensation pump on a heat pump. Also replaced motor solenoid on another A/C system in the house for free because I bought a one year maintenance contract. (Not included in the service cost I quoted) they were kind of hard-sell on the maintenance contract but I liked the fixed price work they would do if something else broke.

Description of Work: They installed Freon and I have a membership with them where they come out in the winter and the summer. I also get a discount on any services they render.

Description of Work: Technician assigned arrived on time. His work was meticulous and checked all required aspects of the system as part of the tuneup. No pressure from up-selling contracts.
