We were told they would arrive between 7:30 and 8:00am, they arrived promptly at 7:30. They explained what they would be doing and got right to work. They found some existing wiring that wasn't done correctly so they asked if I would mind if they corrected, of course I had no objections. When they were done (much quicker than I expected) they showed me what they had done and made sure I didn't have any questions. They asked for a vacuum and cleaned up any mess that was made. Before they left I was told if we had any issues or problems to please call them. Both men were very kind and professional. I would highly recommend GSW to anyone looking to get electrical work done, I also plan on having them back in the near future to install some ceiling fans.

We developed an electrical current drop in half the house over the weekend. I called GSW Electrical on Sunday morning and George immediately set up an appointment for first thing Monday morning and identified their $140 hourly rate. He also suggested this could likely be an external utility problem and I might get assistance from the utility company. I called PEPCO and, to my surprise, they came out the same day and found the problem. We cancelled the appointment with GSW, but we appreciate their professionalism in identifying a solution that didn't need their visit. I will use them for any future electrical needs. A+.

He was out the next morning, after I called. He arrived early, worked quickly. He was very polite and professional. I will definitely use him again.

We called GSW Electric Service, LLC to check out a partial power outage at our home. We called the office at 7:00am, and by 7:30am on the same day two electricians were at our house. They were extremely polite, knowledgeable, and thorough. We could not have been more impressed with the company and the service they provided. We will definitely be repeat customers!

GSW was timely and professional. I wanted to replace the board behind my electrical panel to improve the look of my basement before listing my home for sale. My other choice (recommended by my realtor) fell through, and I needed someone quickly. The owner said he'd get a guy out the next morning, which was great. The technician showed up right on time, and completed the work quickly. He even kept the power on to the main floors of the house to save me the minor hassle of resetting clocks afterwards, which is above and beyond what I expected. Job looked great, and was a definite improvement for the house. So, will definitely use again.

Greg was a great worker and if he was closer to our new place, I would use him again to fix the mess in our current house. He fixed all the wiring at our previous residence, in time for us to rent it out. He educated me on the things required to make a bathroom electrical wiring code compliant. Was the most reasonable price for the work.

Initial meeting went very well, George explained everything that they would do. The estimate came quickly by email and was detailed enough for me to follow. The electrician who performed the work was pleasant and professional. He went over everything with me and even marked the breakers I should not move as the generator would not be able to handle to load (Heat pump as an example). We went through a dry run, disconnecting the utility power and running the lights, fridge and well pump on the generator for around 20 minutes so that I am comfortable with doing it by myself now. All in all I'm very pleased with the work GSW did and will use them again along with recommending them to others.

The workmanship is excellent. The work was done in a timely manner. I highly recommend them!

I called GSW at 10 am. They had an electrician here at noon the same day and charged the quoted price. The electrician worked on the problem until he determined te exact problem and corrected the issue. He found loose wiring on a wall switch that was tripping the breaker. He was professional and was good to work with.

It went well.....everything went as promised.

He was very good. It was expensive. He is very patient. He explained everything. He told me what I would have to do to keep up with the lights so that they stay in a better condition for a longer period of time. He also told me about the different types of lighting that I could use in terms of volts. He was very punctual and he was very nice. I thought it was a little pricey for the number of hours of work. Because of the price, I don't know if I would use him again. Otherwise, I would. I don't have any work for him to do right now.

He was timely (after a short notice) the house was to go for closing the following day and he came and did the job.

George came promptly at the pre-arranged time. He was very thorough checking all the boxes and identified a lose connection at a receptacle. He quickly tightened it down and fixed it. The lights came back on. Extremely professional. I am glad I selected him on Angie's List !

After I received other estimates, I was not able to get a response to set up the work. So I went to another, more local provider.

Owner answered the phone early Sunday morning. He said the cost would be $165 up front. Service scheduled from 9-10 and Spencer arrived at 9:00 am. Wonderful service! Would highly recommend.
