Mr. Drew Hall came out to look and discuss the project. When we later met at TLC to discuss solutions, Mr. Hall clearly explained what has to be done and showed me photos of a similar project. Mr. Hall also worked efficiently with my town’s public works and the county agency to create a system that was satisfactory for all. As the work progressed, Mr. Hall diligently kept me updated. They started at $34,000, then "discounted" to $29,300—$10,000 -$12,000 higher than other quotes for the exact same unit. Even factoring in their warranty, they remained $8,000–$10,000 overpriced. Mike also claimed they were a four-generation family-owned business, but I later found out they’re owned by Sila Services, a Goldman Sachs private equity firm—which feels misleading. To their credit, canceling was easy (though I hadn’t signed a financing agreement or put money down). Bottom line: Get multiple quotes. Their pricing was excessive, and the sales tactics felt manipulative."
