FINE Fence

FINE fencing did an absolutely wonderful job start to finish. They returned my calls and emails very quickly throughout the process. They scheduled and showed up very promptly for our estimate and were very flexible throughout. I was very happy with the price, service and quality of the final product. I was very impressed with the quality as I believe they actually exceeded code in some cases. I have no doubt this fence will last for many years. I would absolutely use this company again without hesitation.

I highly recommend Fine Fence!!!! Mike was a great communicator and responded whenever I emailed him questions. He did a great job at figuring out what works. He was pleasant and a professional. We are so very happy with Fine fence!!! I cannot say how much I appreciate Mike's work! In fact, I also had another estimate that was double what fine fence quoted me. All around great experience!!!! I originally called on a Saturday afternoon and left my information with the answering service. Received an email on Sunday from the owner, Mike. We met on Monday and had detailed quote in my inbox by Tuesday. In short, Mike was extremely pleasent and prompt. Prior to hiring Fine Fence I received a quote from Phoenix and Long, Fine Fence not only came in cheaper, but Mike really took the time to educate me and if it weren't for his metal detector locating my boundary pins, I would have been losing a lot of real estate. I should mention he offered financing through a third-party bank and we qualified for 18 months interest FREE financing... Icing on the cake. Mike had me on the schedule within 4 days of agreement. His crew of 7 showed up on time and worked like a well oiled machine, done by 3:45PM.

Mike was very easy to deal with from start to finish. He was super responsive, both by phone and e-mail. He was able to give us an estimate within a few days of contacting him and helped us stay within our budget for the project. (We got several estimates from local companies.) He also helped us get the county permit beforehand. On the day of the job, he showed up right on time and walked the perimeter with us to confirm everything. His crew worked all day long, and they had everything installed and looking great by 6 pm. They were responsive when I said it was important not to leave any gaps between our new fence and our neighbors' existing fences. The crew cleaned up really well, too. I would definitely recommend this company--the price was reasonable and there were no surprises. We're really enjoying our new fence.

The Fine Fence arrived on time. They were very polite and focused on the job. The crew did real nice work and the fence looks Great!

Mike of Fine Fence came out to give us an estimate. He was the only person we dealt with from Fine and was always responsive. We wanted to close up our yard, but keep it open with our neighbors'. Mike was very willing to work with both of us for this job. He applied for separate permits for both houses and billed us separately. He came with the crew on the install date and after things were well under way, let them continue to work on their own. The crew was very hardworking, polite, and easy to communicate with. It was an incredibly hot day and they barely stopped for breaks. The job was completed in the time frame that was given to us (1 day). After the job was done and inspection passed, Mike continued to communicate with us via email about our satisfaction with the job. Although his pricing wasn't the cheapest for our work (we picked 5 companies off Angie's list for estimates), it was quite close and our neighbors' pricing was the best deal.

I dealt with the owner Mike Schaefer from beginning to end, he is a very pleasant guy, very professional and on top of every detail along the whole process. Even with so much rain around the region the whole process didn't take more than two weeks from appointment for an estimate to day of the installation . The price was very reasonable, we asked for a couple more of estimated and his was right in the middle, but we like Mike's professionalism a lot more than the less expensive company. The day before the installation, Mike called to let us know his crew was going to be doing the installation the next day. They arrived around 9:30 am, a crew of 5 or 6 guys, very pleasant too and incredibly hard working. Mike stopped by in the morning to make sure his crew followed the work that we agreed on at the beginning. They did a fantastic job, disposed of the existing fence, took great deal of care around our plants and even replaced a little fence around our herb garden , the fence looks beautiful, exactly what we wanted. After they left I noticed a minor detail missing from the new hardware, I contacted Mike and he was here early this morning taking care of if. We would not hesitate to use his services in the future or recommend him to anyone needing fence work.

Provided an estimate that included a accurate description of the work and a detailed map based on surveyor pins. Received a phone call the day before to confirm to go ahead. Brought all the needed men, lumber, gates, mesh, necessary tools, etc. Started at 10:00 am and was finished by 6:00 pm. Neighbors have been complimenting us on the fine fence.

Everything went smoothly and we were very happy with the fence. However, after a few weeks, one of the gates would not close completely. When I contacted the company I was told that sometimes wood posts warp after being placed and that I should examine my contract because it is clearly stated that the company is not responsible for this. Since the gate leads into a pool it was mandatory that the gate close, due to liability issues. When we addressed this with Mike, he was not happy with us but he did send someone out to fix the gate at no additional cost to us. Later, this spring, when we were mulching in the back yard, we found an area of fence where the installers cut the wood to fit around a planter that was up against the old fence. We sent photos to Mike and he did respond within a week and replace the three wood slats that had been improperly installed. Overall, I am very happy with my fence and think that this is a good company with which to work. Do read your contract carefully so you will know what is covered and what is not.

Mike came out for an estimate the day I called. He started the next week and finished in two days. We are happy with the work and he was the lowest price.

These guys are great! Professional and prompt but casually friendly in a way that feels like talking to a friend. No pressure, no ridiculous sales pitches, no outrageous pricing. Mike was our primary point of contact and he was warm, friendly and very helpful through the entire process - from picking which fence, meeting us for an estimate, setting us up with financing, and long term care of our investment. The workers who installed the fence are some of the hardest working individuals I've ever hired! They didn't 'clock out' at 5pm...nor 6pm...rather they quit for the day when they literally could no longer see in the fading daylight to do their work. And with that said, they were back the next morning at 7am to finish the job! Sadly, almost my entire yard was rock so drilling was essential for nearly the entire fence. The work is hard and it was hot and these guys were non stop! Was proud to shake one of their hands when he knocked on our door to let us know they were heading out for the night. Excellent workers!! Please consider Fine Fence as a top notch option for fencing needs! There are a lot of options out there, and although I found all fence estimates to be expensive, I can say these guys were worth every penny and I never once had one moment of doubt or regret in choosing them to improve my property! I can't remember the last time my hard earned money was better invested! :) Very happy customer!

It went fine, he got the permit, he gave me a good price. I share part of it with my neighbor and he got that part done. He was very easy to reach. He had a lot of patience in helping us get the permits and the work was scheduled very fast. He did the work and took everything away. He suggested something even more economical that we did not even know about which was great.

Crew was very courteous and efficient. The workmanship was top notch. I am very pleased with the results and will use them again if I need any more work done.

Four workers showed up and immediately started pulling down old fence and fence posts . They worked to install new fencing one board at a time with a nail gun using stainless steel nails. Amazing , they didn`t stop for lunch or any thing until they were finished 7.5 hrs later.

I had high hopes based on Angies List reviews, but I was really disappointed. I asked Mike to provide a fence estimate for three sides of the yard and a 2nd option to repair one side of the fence that was damaged from my neighbors new construction, which my neighbor would replace. I repeated several times of my request because I wanted to show my neighbor the separate repair cost so he could reimburse me. Mike had also offered to provide me a contact of his would could zone the property line. After two weeks of being frustrated waiting, I emailed Mike inquiring about my estimate. He said my estimate was in a pile of pending...I'm not sure if that was the professional response I was expecting but nonetheless, I did not receive the separate I requested nor his contact for zoning. I immediately responded with a couple follow-up questions I didnt get answered and have not heard back in several months and I don't expect to anymore. Its a shame because both my neighbor and I want to get the fence done, but I'm left disappointed in what Fine Fence could deliver so we will go with another company instead once my neighbors house is complete. I know this is contrary to most of the feedback, but I had to share my experience.

We were very satisfied with the work Mike and his team did. There were some tricky parts in our backyard but the team got around it and it looks great. They knew my budget and were able to work with me while the other 3 estimates I received were considerably higher. All my neighbors are giving us compliments on how great the new fence turned out.

The job was performed without any troubles. The crew knew exactly how to do thier work. They put up a string just about two inches inside my property line and put the fence posts right on the string. The fence is perfectly straight.

Mike came out to provide an estimate , took measurements, and within a couple of days e-mailed an estimate with various options for what we wanted fenced. He was very responsive to questions and our modifications with the options. We agreed on a final product and an appointment was made for installation in about one week. He asked to move the appointment back a day from Friday to Saturday, but this was not a problem for us. Mike and the crew showed up on time. Mike got the crew started and they did a great job. Within about 5-6 hours they had completed the work and the fence looks great.

I recently had a fence installed by Fine Fence and what a fence it is! I wanted a four foot tall picket fence that would give some privacy, but still allow my dog to see out into the neighborhood. Mike worked with me to design a fence with wide pickets, cap and face boards, and beautiful solid caps on the posts. The materials he used are all top quality, and the fence looks solid and substantial and so beautiful. It is exactly what I envisioned. Mike was wonderful to work with. He responded to my phone calls and emails and endless questions and concerns quickly and patiently. He is a true professional. His crew was also top notch. They knew exactly what they were doing, and were friendly and professional and hard working. They arrived at around 8:30 in the morning to install the fence, and by the end of the day I had a completed fence, and a thoroughly cleaned and swept work area. This company was so good to work with, and the end result so beautiful that it almost makes me wish I needed a second fence!

The owner was incredibly responsive. I started asking for bids probably six months ago, and he came out and measured everything. He told me how to get a permit. His people were on time, and they did their job well. He was the one who talked to me to every process. He was amazing. The quality of their work was excellent!
