Since then, every 6 months one or the other of the unit has gone down - they have worked on all the units and repaired them multiple times in the last three years. The explaination I get for frequent breakdowns is manufacturer faulty parts. Apparently the batch that they installed were faulty. Not sure if that is true, but all my three geothermal units have been repaired, one A/C (electric) unit has been repaired and the hot water broiler also has been repaired. If all 5 of these were faulty and had to be repaired - then I question the quality of equipment they choose. They have been very responsive and promptly come and fix things, but it is frustrating that every six months something goes wrong on a brand new system. UPDATE (5/22/2011) I am downgrading their rating - my 2nd floor AC unit stopped working a month ago. It took multiple calls for folks to show up and they calimed that it was repaired. I got a bill for >$700. The 2nd floor maintained temperature for 3-4 days and stopped cooling again. I have been calling them now for two weeks to return and fix the AC, but after repeated promisses and scheduled appointments, they have been a no show. I am going to look for some other company - hopefully they can fix this and I do not have to replace the units.

Luke came out and gave me an estimate for Geothermal installing. I have not had it installed yet but plan to use him when the time is right. He was professional and seemed to know what he was doing. I have had several friends use him to install their geothermal and they highly recommend him. I had two estimates and his was about 10% cheaper, which is pretty significant considering the price of a geothermal.
