+ 0 moreWe interviewed several different contractors and ultimately selected Savelson Construction for their price competitiveness and professionalism. Numerous people in our neighborhood had used them and were very pleased. Jared was very thoughtful from the start about options to finish the basement and his attention to detail is impeccable. He involved us throughout the process, ensuring that we would be happy with the finished product. In the end, we have an amazing space in our basement --- ample lighting, clean lines, storage, space for guests to stay, a home gym and play / rec areas. The flow through the basement is very nice. Jared even went above and beyond to ensure clean lines with some of the bulk heads as he worked around some of the existing foundation infrastructure and ductwork. We are thrilled with our basement and would highly recommend Savelson Construction to anyone.
Description of Work: Our basement was unfinished when we bought our house. We had it finished with a home gym, den,large rec room and small rec area, + some prep work for a future bathroom and shelving added to our storage area. We also added a kids 'play house' in the space under the stairs. The work included everything except carpet and paint, although we could have had that included as well (I just had a painter I was already familiar with that we wanted to have to do some other work too). Jared made sure we had ample lighting to make our non walk-out basement very bright, built us a niche and a couple closets, and artfully concealed the ductwork being very diligent about how to structure the framing to minimize bulkheads and ensure clean lines.

Description of Work: We had Savelson Construction remodel our Kitchen and bathroom. Both were completely demoloshied and rebuilt.

+ 0 moreHe was very helpful in making decisions and offered lots of great advise. He was very professional, kept the place very clean during construction, showed up on time and worked at late as was needed. We are very happy with the result and he has answered questions and addressed two minor issues after the job was completed.
Description of Work: Jared finished our basement including a bedroom (with a very large closet), a TV room, a Living Room, one full bath, storage room and full kitchen.
