Description of Work: Josh Becker has been our electrician for many years now and he continues to provide high quality, prompt service at a fair price. He has upgraded the service, redone the wiring in much of our house, added fixtures, repaired problems that existed prior to when we bought it and recommended solutions that we might not have proposed on our own. We call on him regularly because he's the best.

Description of Work: Troubleshot a circuit that had 'retired' and installed several GFCI outlets to conform to the external electricity socket code. Replaced an inside socket also. Josh called to say he was on his way and showed up on-time. His work was excellent and done in a professional manor.

Description of Work: He did all the wiring for our kitchen renovation and he will be coming back to install the under counter lighting and finish the recessed lighting once we are done with our work.

 + 0 moreThe initial job was done well, but he made a transformer inaccessible. When the lights on the stairway stopped working, we called him. It took many calls to have him come; he told us the transformer was not working and needed to be replaced. He gave us an estimate (which we accepted, without ever suggesting that perhaps he should cover it since he installed it not too long ago) and gave us a date. He failed to show up and I had to call to ask him why. We settled on a number of dates at various times, to no avail. Since then, we have been completely unsuccessful at getting him to come, or even return our calls. This is very shabby service for an expensive job. We understand his grandfather passed away; we sympathize very much, but expect him to at least return calls, or have them returned. This is an excellent example of someone being in over his head, being too successful at getting work, but not able to keep up with it. We liked him a lot initially, but feel very badly treated now.
Description of Work: Josh Becker put lights on a new patio we built last year. This involved lights on a stone stairway leading from the deck to a raised patio. The lights were in the stone steps and on the stone stairway columns, as well as in a retaining wall. He also put up two spotlights for an arbor we built over the stairway. We paid quite a lot for this work ($3400+).

 + 0 moreThey returned my call promptly, quoted me a price over the phone and scheduled an appointment within a week. They showed up on time for the work and were neat and efficient. They even bought a Swiffer to clean up afterwards! I would highly recommend them.
