Quality Insulation

Dan brought his crew in on time for an early start (to avoid the summer attic heat), they placed drop cloths everywhere that they worked, kept me informed with what was going on. His crew did a very neat job, and was able to come the day after I had called him to schedule. After shopping around I found that Dan's price was competitive ,and he kept adding in little "extras" at no charge (see above). He is very customer service focussed. I think that anyone should be happy with his work. If you need insulation I highly recommend this outfit.

Dan scheduled the job within three days of my go ahead and his team completed it the same day. All holes were filled with foam and insulation was installed completely and neatly. They even installed a "hood" of reflective insulation over the attic stairs. Everything was cleaned up and they left two cans of foam insulation for my future needs.

Dan arrived on time with his crew and they immediately got to work. They worked until the job was done. The area they walked on was completely covered by tarps and drop cloths. They made sure there was no debris left behind. Very clean work!

They arrived promptly and finished the job in a timely manner. The crawl space is as pleasant now as a crawl space can be; there is ample insulation and it appears that all the holes which were allowing pests into our house have been sealed up. They were very friendly and easy to work with and willing to go above and beyond. They even cleaned our dryer vent while they were under the house.

We had a very good experience from first calling the company to when they finished the job. On the phone,Dan walked me through what would be done and how to estimate the price. When we decided to go with his company we set up the day and approximate time (they had another job that morning) and they came when they said they would. The crew quickly put down drop clothes to catch any dirt and set to work. While they were blowing in the insulation Dan actually went to the store and got caulk and some weatherstripping for my shop door (at no cost to us), came back and spent an hour caulking the outside of the house. The job was finished when they said it would be and then the crew promptly cleaned up. Overall it was a very good experience and has made a big difference in the energy efficiency of our house. A very friendly company to deal with.

They arrived on time, laid drop cloths over my carpet and were very efficient. There was no mess and they completed the job in about 3 hours. They also went around the outside of my house and used foam insulation to fill any cracks in the foundation and around the windows. They went above and beyond what I expected.

Very good. I can now use my upstairs space. I was unable to keep it warm before. Had an estimate done, and all of the recommendations to correct my issue seamed reasonable, scheduled that day for the following week. On the install day, Mr. Roberson's team showed up a few minutes early, kept me well informed, and cleaned up nice.

They were incredibly good. I had gotten several other estimates from other companies and they said that it could not be done, and then this company came out and said that they would have to remove everything that I had stored up there for 38 years of storage, and then after doing the work they put the stuff that we wanted back in the attic and the rest that we didn't want they put out to the curb for us. He also gave me a senior citizen discount.

They were very good. Dan came out promptly for the estimate, which was very reasonable. They came out promptly and did the work.

The installer did a good job. He was on time and did a lot of extras, a little bit of stuff here and there. He was excellent in every facet of his work and I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone needing insulation work done on their home.

I have to say that this was the best experience I've had with a service company is quite a long while. Dan was responsive and his team did a top notch job for the lowest price quote I got. Bottom Line: I feel like I underpaid the guy.

The experience was excellent. The owner gave me an estimated cost per square foot over the phone and kept to that price even though he had to do some customized work in order to maintain a storage space in my attic. The job took about 3 hours and the finished product looks great. The workers were courteous and kept the house perfectly clean. I rated the price a "B" only because I don't have the experience to gauge whether it was a good deal. Based on the initial estimate, it seems like I got more than my money's worth, and I would use them again.

We had an exceptional experience with Dan. He came to our house on a Sunday to discuss options and to give us an estimate. They did the job eight days after scheduling, arriving promptly and completing in less than three hours. He has a great crew of two whom he treats with respect and who did an immaculate job. The professionalism and quality of their work is outstanding. We wholeheartedly recommend them to family, friends and neighbors.

Called Dan and he came out and gave me an estimate. He and his team came out, blew insulation into the attic and insulated & foamed the crawlspace. They were extremely professional and thorough. If they found something that needed attention, they just fixed it and didn't worry about "nickel and diming" like some contractors do. They cleaned up extremely well.

Dan, the owner, extremely responsive and professional from fist call to completion of job. Got the sense from the beginning that this was a company that provides excellent service, so didn't even bother to get another estimate from another company. Also, all the EXTREMELY positive reviews on Angie's List reflect assured me that we would get quality services. Very, very pleased with the work. Also, saw on another review that when a problem presented itself for another consumer after the work was completed, the company was responsive in coming back and correcting the issue.......that's encouraging to hear and I think speaks to their desire to do a great job from start to finish. DEFINITELY use this company if you're looking for insulation........trust all the Angie's Listers!!

They arrived promptly and, as projected, completed their work in two hours. Don and his crew were quite flexible in light of the arrival of two other contractors trying to access the same building on the same morning for work. They accommodated the other contractors with good humor.

Dan and his crew were professional and very clean. They covered my clothes with plastic sheathing so they would not get them dusty. Then the tech essentially closed the door on himself so no dust or insulation escaped back into the house. The result was no mess at all to clean up. The only thing left for me to do that Dan recommended is to replace my recessed lighting fixture (which is vented to disperse heat) with newer, IC-rated fixtures that provides an airtight seal. Once I do this I should have a very tight seal between my attic and conditioned space.

After a prompt estimate in response to our phone call, Quality Insulation did the job in one day. The crew was professional, worked neatly and cleaned up beautifully. We discovered we'd had almost no insulation in many parts of the house and can feel the difference. Hopefully we'll see a difference in our AC bill! We appreciated the senior discount, too. Be aware that many plugs must be cut from walls and sometimes ceilings to get the insulation where it needs to go. The plugs were put back in the wall, firmly attached, but there is a lot of plastering and touch up painting required and Quality Insulation does not do that work. We hired a pro to plaster and paint.

Dan and his crew delivered a truly excellent job. Even though the work turned out to be more than originally estimated, the job was delivered on time and within budget. There was one detail that illustrated very well to us the type of service Dan provides his customers with: after the crew had already left the house, we discovered that there was still one small item that needed to be addressed. When we mentioned this to Dan, he made sure that this was fixed immediately, without any further discussion. It was very clear to us that Dan builds his reputation on customer satisfaction, and he definitely knows how to keep his customers satisfied with first class work that is delivered in budget and on time.

They took away the old, put in the new. I thought they did a very fine job. They were very professional and reasonably priced.

I called to schedule an estimate later in the week and he came the same day. When he walked into my house, he was dead honest in his assessment. I live in a 26 year old, 3 level condo. He said that it would be expensive because these homes were built installing only a minimum amount of insulation if any. He asked me what areas concerned me the most and we worked from there. My family room is under my neighbor's house and the sound was driving me crazy. I also had a poor insulation in my attic. He came with his crew the next day. He said that he is on site with the crew at every installation. They were very friendly and went to work immediately. All of my furniture was covered and when they were finished, cleaned up down to the last stray piece of insulation. To keep costs low, I'm patching the holes in my family room ceiling myself. My attic looked great and he even told his crew to take the extra plywood in my attic and make a simple shelf for me for added storage. He suggested that I get an attic fan and told me to call him if I had any problems. He's the best contractor I ever hired. I wish that he did more than insulation. I'd hire him again in a minute.

I called Mr. Roberson in a bit of a frenzy as I realized that the ceiling in our daughter's room was severely bowed (about 4-6 inches in the middle); he came the next day! His crew removed the old insulation over the bedroom, shored up the ceiling (a lot of work!), drilled new screws and replaced the insulation in that room and blew additional insulation over the existing insulation in the remainder of the attic. Mr. Roberson and his talented crew could not have been more polite, neater or more professional. The work was done with extreme care and we were (and are) very grateful.

Great. Dan called morning of appointment to signal they were on their way. Showed up on time. Set up, taking care to put drop clothes down. Dan stayed on site, supervising and answering my questions. Team cleaned up, actually leaving the house better than they found it. Process took about an hour and a half. It seemed set up and tear down probably took longer than the insulating itself.
